Expérience fantastique: Great services! Brody is truly an expert in jaw pain/TMJ issues. I developed jaw pain shortly after giving birth and was very stressed as I could barely chew. After seeing another physiotherapist in my area who was completely useless, I decided to see Brody after he was recommended by another mom. Brody was great- he did a VERY thorough assessment of my jaw/neck and really tried to understand the nature of my issue. He created a treatment plan with targeted exercises to help with my TMJ pain. I swear my pain improved a few days after doing the exercises he recommended and was basically gone after a week. I am so thankful to Brody for helping me with this pain and would strongly urge other patients seeking TMJ/jaw treatment to give him a try!

Expérience négative: The Physiotherapist I worked with is excellent at her job and very personable (Tanika Briggs). However the Management/Administration is poor and lacks basic Customer Service. No email notifications of appointments booked and no courtesy reminders close to the date. It seems there is new Admin staff or perhaps a new system because this didn't use to happen a yr ago.

He is a genuine listener and cares deeply that the results are as expected. A strong communicator. Overall I’m impressed with the entire clinic. All of the staff make the visits to the office a pleasant experience. Chintan’s content of character stands out in my view, he is a true professional.

Expérience fantastique: I came here with what I thought was a rotator injury which turned out to be a scapula issue! Chintan was very thorough in his tests to determine the source of the pain and worked his magic to fix it. With weekly visits and stretching at home I’m feeling much better. Chintan is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The ladies at the front desk are fantastic too.

They’re a wonderful addition to our community. Edited to add: I have been coming to this clinic for a couple of years now and I wanted to update my review with more details. Dr. Kim (chiropractor): I cannot rave enough about Dr. Kim! The care she provides to her patients is top-notch! She not only makes sure you leave her office feeling like a million dollars she makes sure you leave with tools/exercises to make sure you can maintain that feeling. She truly takes the time to understand where you are feeling discomfort or need help and makes sure you know what she is doing and why. She is also so collaborative! She recommends other services when needed and works with them to ensure you are getting the solution you need to feel your best. I absolutely adore her! Tanika (RMT): She has magic hands! (and elbows) She is professional, caring, and sweet as punch! After a session with her, I walk out relaxed, and all my aches and pains are gone. Janelle (Physio): Janelle is a miracle worker. And her client care is next level. She is so knowledgeable, patient, kind and respectful.

Expérience fantastique: Went to see Dr Kim after having some hip, elbow and neck pain. She was able to help locate the issues of concern, provide exercises and give advice on workouts to help counter and speed up the healing process. She is very good at explaining, demonstrating and making you feel comfortable. Would recommend her services to anyone.

Expérience fantastique: I have seen Doctor Kim as my chiropractor for the last two and a half years. I had severe pain in my hips, back and shoulders. I was having a hard time simply walking for about 6 months. After starting treatments with Kim, I have never felt better. I recommend her to everyone who has questions about chiropractic work or to anyone looking for a chiropractor. She actually listens to what you’re saying to fully understand the problem to help you reach you goals in comfort or rehabilitation. I can only say good things about her quality of work and personality. I recommended her as the best chiropractor in Durham region. She is very in-depth and thorough. She will take the time to explain and help you understand why and how your body is responding to and from the adjustments. She does not make you feel uncomfortable in any means. I have seen multiple chiropractors and never felt like I was getting better until Kim started treating me. I have run out of benefits and have spent my own out of pocket money for the treatments and do not regret it. She is awesome!

Whilst I cannot comment as to what its like to actually be a patient receiving treatment, I can provide an insight into the "back-end" of this centre. Let me just tell you, this is one amazing team! Everyone, including the front desk, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, etc., are 100% committed towards helping their patients. Providing quality care and achieving patient goals is absolutely their #1 priority, and this was very evident to me from the first day I walked into the clinic. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend her as a chiropractor!!

Expérience négative: I came to the clinic after seeing the 5 star reviews to book an appointment for massage. The staff were nice and recommended me to see Chiropractor to which I agreed. The session was supposed to be 1 hour, I even asked the staff 2 times. The entire session was mostly talking and the therapy itself did not even take 10 minutes. She completed in less than 40 minutes, spending mostly on talking. She wanted me to come again in 2 days... paying $120 for something that makes no sense, was just talking and barely any therapy is senseless to me. I could have gone form massage instead, which could have helped me to relieve my pain faster. Thank you

I saw improvement even after 1 Physio treatment with Jez & continued to see improvement every week. I finished up all my Physio treatments a couple months ago and my wrist is as good as new:). The staff have helped me see steady and measurable improvement (and a notable reduction in pain) in an amazingly short period of time. Methods here are much more personalized vs my many experiences elsewhere over the years. Extended hours as well (eliminating any lost time at work for me) is a bonus. Update January 2022: I’m back again for something else and things are as great as always - thanks!

Expérience fantastique: I have been seeing Shannon since last year for Reflexology, and I must say each and every time, I arrive with excitement knowing I will be treated with respect and kindness and absolutely well rested during my session. I totally recommend seeing Shannon for Reflexology as it is great for circulation and sleep. If you haven't tried it, you have to, relaxation and soothing music are a couple things I always look forward to! I have never had an issue booking and the staff have always been so friendly and pleasant. Thank you to the whole Team!

My family doctor referred me for physio and I went to Clarington Physiotherapy Health and Wellness because it was close to home. They got me in right away for both physio and massage, and I've been going for more than two months, gradually working down from three times a week to once a week where I am now. I'm feeling so much better now, and my doctor is impressed with the progress I've made. Jez and Deacon have worked miracles!! The staff of the clinic are so kind, and they explain everything to me clearly. They gave me exercises to do at home, and advice about movements to avoid. Very helpful and knowledgeable!

Kevin is the most talented message therapist I have ever met and I have to admit, I’m super picky! Shannon does amazing reflexology in a relaxed atmosphere. She always takes the time to explain what she is doing and how it affects your body. I find it super fascinating. Brody (physio) was amazing and knowledgable on my condition, very thorough in his exam and history taking. I started seeing Janelle for physio after some knee problems. She is amazing. I was so impressed at the variety of services: ultrasound, acupuncture, they worked great. 10/10. Jeff is an excellent RMT. I went for a visit recent after starting a very physically demanding job. 99% of my muscle aches were gone when I left. I've seen a few RMTs over the years but Jeff has been the best yet. 10/10. One small note, the physio area is next to a dance studio so there were some thumps and noise. But hey, I left with my knee feeling better so who cares?

Expérience négative: Had an appointment there for physiotherapy, at the request of a Neurosurgeon. Was refused service because I did not have a credit card or cash on me. I did have my EFTO benefits card with me. Wasn't offered to call in the info either & they could of called my benefits provider to confirm coverage if they were so worried about payment. Clearly this business has a trust issue, I go to Chiropractors, dentists & other service providers without issues. All I've been asked for is the benefits card. Heres what they lost: $1000.00 per year for Physiotherapy. $1000.00 per year for message therapy & possibly an opportunity to gain another $1000.00 of chiropractic therapy. Their loss, someone else's gain.
