I've seen him for a year now and he's the most experienced chiro I've ever seen he cares about your health and will help in any possible way. Expérience fantastique: I had been experiencing pain in my neck for a few weeks and had been putting off making an appointment because life is busy. It got so bad that I could no longer drive or lift my child and Brian was able to fit me in immediately. After just 2 sessions I was feeling about 70% better with mild, manageable pain. I was given exercises to do at home which continued to help until my next visit. After my third visit I am almost back to normal and sometimes forget to do my exercises because I’m not feeling any pain! I will continue to visit the clinic for regular adjustments! Brian is extremely knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and really listens to what you have to say and his initial assessment was absolutely accurate. He is also incredibly punctual and you will not be left waiting! The best way to describe my experience aside from pain relief is that my body feels younger! Highly recommend!

Expérience négative: Bryan DiFrancesco allowed me to rack up over $1000 of services, knowing my insurance provider would not provide reimbursement for his services. Bryan DiFrancesco didn't tell me that my insurance provider had delisted him and his company, Active Body Clinic, in 2019. Insurance companies will delist a service provider who commits fraud or fails to abide by the terms and conditions of a benefit plan. He knew I was submitting my receipts to my insurance provider, and during our appointments, I told him that I was still waiting on my reimbursement. He continued booking appointments and provided me with receipts to submit for reimbursement. He tried to upsell additional services, including hundreds of dollars in custom orthotics. When I contacted my insurance provider to ask about my reimbursement, they informed me that Bryan DiFrancesco and his company were both delisted in 2019 and that he was fully aware my sessions would not be reimbursed. When I contacted Bryan DiFrancesco with this information, he wrote in an email that he was aware he had been delisted in 2019 and does not tell his clients. Bryan DiFrancesco could have been honest from the start or recommended a colleague that my insurance provider would reimburse. Instead, he lied, withheld information and took my money. I'm left feeling I was frauded, deceived, scammed and taken advantage of.

Dr. Bryan DiFrancesco conducted a thorough assessment and based on his diagnosis, treated him on the spot. After two treatments over three days, the relief my son felt was immediate. He did not complain about neck or shoulder pain again. Bryan even called to follow up a week later to see how my son was doing. I'm so happy I found Active Body Clinic (Bryan) and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Expérience fantastique: I have been going to Active Body Clinic since the beginning of this year. My first visit was warm and welcoming. Which made it so much easier for me as I'm not one to complain about pain. Till one day the pain in my knee was so bad that I could not walk on it. I called Bryan and explained to him what was happening. Without hesitation he said when can you get here. When i arrived there were 2 options at that point either I was walking out of there on cruches or walking. I walked out with no cruches and miminal amount of pain with him doing physical therapy and acupuncture. My experience that day and everyday since has me so pleased and needless to say I will be a patient there for very long time. Thank you Bryan for helping me thru this journey of pain and getting me more mobile.

I was referred to Bryan and I am SO grateful that he has been apart of my recovery process the last few months. Bryan is both professional and personable. Always going above and beyond to ensure that I am getting the most out of my treatments. Expérience fantastique: I have used Brian twice now for upper body injuries - a nagging upper shoulder strain couple of years back and most recently bruised ribs after falling down some stairs - and both times found him very effective at relieving inflammation and overall pain. More importantly he was very good at explaining and showing me effective exercises and breathing techniques to use outside the clinic to help me heal faster. Very easy to talk to and good at explaining the muscular and skeletal issues. Recommend to anyone in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek area with these issues.

Expérience fantastique: I recently went to see Brian with a serious injury I had sustained to the nerves in my arm which stopped me from being able to do my everyday activity's and left me with serious pain and numbness in my hand. I had gone to multiple doctors before coming into see Brian who all didn't take my injury seriously and told me to just hang tight that id recover on my own over the next few months. Brian took my injury seriously and helped get me a diagnosis, helped heal the constant pain I was in and also regain my mobility. Within only a couple weeks time Brian had me moving more normally and answered all my questions as best he could. Had I listened to the doctors I would not be functioning as normally as quickly as I was without Brian. He is very skilled and knows the exactly approach to find the proper diagnosis for unknown injury's and the proper steps get get his patience to a full recovery as quick as possible. Treatments were excellent and I always felt comfortable.

Bryan created a unique treatment for my injuries & after only 2 months, am 80% back to normal of even before these most recent problems. Now walking every day & have started my weight loss journey. Highly recommend if you have been under chiropractic/massage care with little or short term results. The combination of physio/chiro & massage does the trick. I was treated seperately for neck, head and foot pain this summer. Active Body Clinic with 2 decades of experience showed its expertise in the focused treatments which each resulted in reflief following just a few sessions. With great advice, visuals for potential cause & preventive measures and optional support. He provided me a detailed explanation of what was happening, how my body got that way and the changes required to my daily activity and exercise. I booked my initial visit with Dr. DiFrancesco because I had shoulder pain from an injury. After 1 visit I felt immediate relief. From the first day I walked into the clinic I felt welcomed and cared for and various factors contributed to this feeling . Some including friendly reception team that greets me by my name and deals with my insurance company (so amazing!), very clean facility, and extremely professional and knowledgeable individuals that are genuinely there to help me heal. Kristen, Robin, Bryan, and Jessica are very professional in their work, and communicate well together to ensure that a holistic approach is taken to ensure that my pain is decreasing, and any questions or concerns are being answered. In addition to this, the clinic offers text reminders of appointments 24 hours prior to the appointment and an online program plan reminder that helps clients remember their exercises and accommodates busy schedules. Personally, I have had a very positive experience at ABC, and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

Expérience négative: I was “prescribed” a pillow following a car accident, to aid in comfortably sleeping. The pillow lasted the expected timeframe, and the quality of the pillow was fair. Since I had a positive ballance on my treatment for soft tissue damage with the insurance company, I requested that I use the remainder of funds towards a pillow following my treatment and I was still having difficulty sleeping. Active body clinic refused to provide the pillow unless I came back for a “Re-assessment”. I told them the treatment wasnt working, and I had no intention of returning for further out of pocket. My insurance company called to see how I was doing, they wanted to know if they could do anything. I then informed them about the pillow request, and the my attempted to obtain the pillow on my behalf with the remaining funds. They told the insurance company to pound salt! The insurance company noted the call. It’s evident that active body clinic was more interested in income generation rather than customer service. It’s unfortunate that I had to give one star, these kinds of monopolies deserve negative stars.

I have been attending sessions for about 3 months because of a recent back injury. My athletic therapist Mike is like no other therapist out there. He has worked many treatment methods on me, also given me exercises I can work on my self to help the process. I have never felt better after these 3 months. I am able to do my everyday routines with no pain at all because of Mike and the ACTICE BODY CLINIC.

Expérience fantastique: I go to see Dr. Ashley Petrina at this clinic every 3 weeks. She is an excellent chiropractor. I find it comforting to be treated by a female clinician who also has young children. She is very skilled and knowledgeable. I suffer from recurrent neck and mid-back discomfort, related to the strain caused by my job as a full time Dental Hygienist. Adjustments with Dr. Ashley are both comfortable and effective. I wouldn't be able to function at work without my regular treatments by Dr. Ashley. The clinic is always clean, and the reception staff are friendly. Text message reminders make it easy to not forget my appointment dates and times. Many onsite parking spots are available. Convenient location on King Street in downtown Stoney Creek, directly across from the Recreation Centre. They will even bill direct to your insurance company for you. You don't have to subscribe to a full year of treatments that you may or may not use. Just pay per visit and schedule your appointments as you see fit. Great clinic with massage therapy available as well!

I heard great things about the Active Body Clinic from friends and decided to give them a try. After 3 months of therapy I'm nearly pain-free and have regained full range of motion in my shoulder and neck! Tara has been very engaged in my care and I've made marked improvements over time because of her advice. Highly recommend!

Expérience négative: My experience with Active Body clinic started off good, but turned into an abysmal ordeal; one that I had to pay myself out of. My wife and myself, both of whom received physiotherapy, massages etc have benefits with our respective employers. We dealt with a nice lady who did work there and she seemed to have her finger on the pulse when it came to processing payment and dealing with our respective insurance companies. In March 2014, we ordered a pair of orthotics through this company and it took FOREVER for us to hear back from them regarding the orthotics, regarding the payment from our benefits and every time we spoke to someone, it was a different story. We were not kept in the loop regarding anything that was being done (or not being done). We eventually stopped speaking to them about the orthotics as we were fed up of receiving conflicting information and had concluded that the order had fallen through somewhere along the chain of this convoluted mess. In December 2015, we received a piece of mail from Active Body stating that there was an outstanding balance on my account for the orthotics and that if we didn't resolve this matter, the balance would be forwarded to collections. What followed was more chaos - the employees we dealt with in 2014, were all now gone, current staff continued to provide remarkably conflicting information (the orthotics are made / no, not made, you have to pay for the shoe/ no, just the orthotic) regarding whether the orthotics had been made, how much they cost, and what our options were to resolve this issue (to the extent that these details kept changing within the matter of one conversation). The conclusion to this saga was as so much time had elapsed, our personal benefits would no longer cover this claim. Our options were to submit a new claim and receive a partial compensation or pay it out of pocket. We paid out to avoid further complications and nuisance from this company. I implore you to think twice before providing your business to this clinic.
