Expérience fantastique: I can’t recommend Mark enough as a physiotherapist! When I first visited him, I was in excruciating pain with my hip and leg. Mark immediately identified the issue in the very first session and guided me through effective exercises and pressure point techniques. After just a few sessions with him, I’m feeling so much better and pretty much pain-free. If you’re looking for someone who’s knowledgeable, attentive, and truly effective, Mark is definitely your guy

Expérience fantastique: I worked with Mark for 3+ years both pre and post shoulder surgery and I felt like I was in great hands the whole time. He provided useful and effective training programs for me that got me back into sports while feeling safe and the stretching/treatment sessions always gave me a lot of relief. I only stopped going to physio at Dovogi because of a move and I will miss my friend Mark a lot. I looked forward to chatting about our mutual hobbies and sports throughout sessions. He also gives good advice on Magic the gathering - see you soon buddy. The support staff and admin are very nice and always understanding when I am late or have to bug them. Thanks everyone

Expérience fantastique: Excellent treatment and service. Mark was great to my recovery when I broke my knee. I got back to playing soccer much earlier than I expected. I was clinically fit and confident about my knee strength and stability.

Expérience positive: I was very pleased with the care & treatment I received from my physiotherapist Larissa. The clinical support staff were also very helpful. However I have concerns with some of the administrative practices of the clinic. I had an appointment for Monday afternoon but became ill on the weekend. I called the clinic when it opened on Monday morning to tell them that I was ill & that I wouldn’t be able to keep my appt. I was told that I would be charged the full amount for the appointment because I hadn’t cancelled 24 hours in advance. It is impossible to cancel a Monday appointment 24 hours in advance because the clinic is not open on the weekend! I feel that is an unfair practice & was very disappointed.

Expérience fantastique: I have had excellent care for the past 5 years here, including orthopedic surgery, sports medicine doctor and most of all my physiotherapist Larissa Tutert. I've seen physiotherapists in the past and Larissa is unparalleled. She has extensive expert training beyond basic physiotherapy in several key areas. She is exceptionally smart, thoughtful and caring. She highly individualizes care for each patient. Without her I never could have recovered so well from two difficult surgeries and been able to prevent any more for now.

Expérience fantastique: I have been going to Dovigi Physio and Acupuncture for over a year now. From the front desk crew- Ashley, Lisa and Anita (I wish I could remember everyone's names!)- to the physio guru Larissa Tutert who works magic with her knowledge, skills and understanding of the human body, to the extremely talented eastern medicine teacher and advocate Fanny Ip, one does not need to second guess coming to Dovigi. All members of this organization are consummate professionals in their own fields. I had my miniscus repaired with surgery, and began my experience with Larissa with physio post surgery. Larissa was kind, listened and gave suggestions and options as to what she thought the best course of action would be. I was and am still blown away by her knowledge of how the body works. Being a catcher in softball is a huge passion of mine, and I did not want to give it up due to this injury. Larissa was able to get me back to catching, and I will be forever grateful for her skills to help me get there. My partner and I are also exploring ivf, and with that have been seeing Fanny Ip for acupuncture. Fanny is insanely knowledgeable in this field, and knows how to adjust her work to each client to achieve results. Fanny is a pro and I highly suggest meeting with her if you are interested in exploring ivf and/ or fertility. Anyone looking for a professional company that can help your body get stronger or back to a better standard of living should reach out. Worth every cent.

Expérience fantastique: In late 2023, I tore my right meniscus, which was confirmed by MRI on January 17, 2024, leaving me barely able to walk. With Dr. Catapano's help—including ultrasound-guided cortisone and hyaluronic injections on January 18—and targeted physiotherapy from Mark Wong, I was back skiing exactly 30 days post-injection. And, after just two more sessions with Mark, I was even able to return to hockey the following week. I was able to ski for the rest of the season with my knee feeling stronger than it has in 20 years, all thanks to Mark's skill in adapting exercises in real time based on his observations during each physio session. His breadth of knowledge is remarkable, and he is truly the best physiotherapist I've ever worked with. Special mention also goes to the friendly and responsive scheduling and support staff.

Expérience fantastique: I have been to the Dovigi Sports Clinic twice over the past couple of years and the service I’ve gotten there was amazing. Shout out to Mark Wong for fixing my tennis injuries in a shorter time span than what was initially expected - if you need a great physiotherapist, go for him.

Expérience négative: Following a hamstring injury I was seeing Larissa and I kept asking for help with a knee brace given my hip and ankle instabilities. I even purchase an expensive one to ask her about it. My complaints of knee pain and hyperextension were ignored. Needless to say that now my knee is worn out with osteoarthritis and I have a painful Baker's cyst that radiates pain and causes swelling in my lower leg. Also my hip and hamstring never got any better. I have paid this clinic thousands of dollars over the 2 years only to worsen my situation. The last drop was my neck pain as a result of her treatment. I stopped going there and I should contact the College of Physiotherapist to ask if such ignorance and negligence is a part of their standards. Larissa is charismatic but ignorant of serious concerns and single minded with her own agenda.

Expérience fantastique: I've been receiving treatment from physiotherapist Kevin for the past few months for a sports injury. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone dealing with a sports injury—his professional care has made a significant difference!

Expérience fantastique: My experience at the Dovigi Sports Medicine Clinic has been fantastic. I had labrum repair surgery earlier this year, and I cannot recommend this clinic enough. From Dr. Dwyer to the clinic's receptionists to Mark who has been my physiotherapist both before and after the surgery, I've always felt really well taken care of. Facilities are impeccable as well. Thankful to have found this clinic.

Expérience fantastique: Best PSW at the Toronto Rehab Centre at Mount Sinai is Pamgrea Taylor - HCA stroke. She is kind, with a great demeanour, and super hard working. Pamgrea is also very attuned to patient needs and is happy to help any way she can. It's people like Pamgrea that make this place great.

Expérience négative: I went to the emergency room with a torn LCL and obviously couldn't walk for days. They referred me to this location to actually get some information about the injury and to take a look at the injury and get some imaging done. I brought in the referral and they said to just speak to the doctor would cost me 580 dollars. Just to speak to someone about an injury that I've yet to get any information on whatsoever and absolutely no medical information or help or treatment. And even though after not being able to work and not being able to afford a 600 $ CONSULT, no treatment just to get in the room with a therapist .. just to be diagnosed with an injury I'd have to pay that much ? They also offered no payment plan nor any helpful information about ways to pay for the treatment they wouldn't tell me if my private healthcare would cover it or if ohip would, Absolutley zero help. Thanks it's not like someone would need help when they can't walk. Personally, if your looking for a staff that cares about providing medical information, medical care, treatment, just basic information on how to pay or get help, a diagnosis, he'll if your just looking for the basics from universal health care then I wouldn't not go here. Go somewhere where the medical staff actually care to help someone and provide medical care and knowledge.. This is a store front not a medical facility. Thank you for turning someone away who has had no medical help with a torn LCL .. thank you Mount Sinai for providing no medical information no treatment information, thank you for taking my tax money but not providing universal health care. Thank you for referring me to your own storefront to try and siphon money out of me in a desperate time. Thank you for offering nothing to someone with an injury that sometimes requires surgery. Thank you so much for your dedication to not helping people.

Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend Dovigi Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic, and especially physiotherapist Kevin Lam. The on-boarding process is straightforward and thorough, and the three receptionists, Anita, Ashley, and Lisa, are wonderful. They are helpful, kind, and professional, remembering each patient's name. Since this clinic is located within Mount Sinai Hospital, it has hospital-grade air filtration, which makes appointments here very safe from airborne illnesses. The clinic is also always very clean. I have had weekly appointments with Kevin for the past nine months, initially for chronic pain stemming from injuries sustained over ten years ago. During the initial assessment appointment, Kevin developed and communicated a treatment plan, so I knew what to expect, in terms of results and how long it would take to achieve those results. Kevin successfully treated my chronic pain, using different treatment modalities, and also teaching me do-at-home exercises. After ridding me of chronic pain, he has helped me strengthen other muscles, to prevent injury. He follows up on the prescribed exercises, to ensure I am doing them correctly, and fine-tunes my technique. Expect to work in partnership with Kevin for better health and wellness. He prescribes exercises to suit each patient's abilities, pace, and goals, and encourages patients to do their homework for the maximum (and long-lasting) benefit. Kevin is very personable and a good conversationalist, making appointments enjoyable.

Expérience positive: Dovigi Sports Medicine has great facilities, and wonderful practitioners, and is such a positive environment to be in. I have made significant progress in strength after having broken my clavicle playing Ultimate Frisbee. This would not have been possible without working with Kevin Lam. Kevin worked with me for over 8 weeks on a treatment plan that increased my recovery. His knowledge and expertise are evident in his experience working with high-level athletes and allowed me to safely return to sports. I highly recommend Kevin to athletes who've suffered acute injuries and are looking for a strong recovery.

Expérience fantastique: I have seen many practitioners over the years related to issues ranging from general pain to chronic pain / digestive issues. Dr. Lock was the first to not only help me "ease the pain" but she helped me find a path to managing and living pain free. She is not at the fore front of her expertise but it is how much she cares about her patients well being that separates her. I highly Dro. Lock recommend to anyone dealing with long term pain issues of any kind.

Expérience négative: I found this experience to be really fraught with problems. I am 3 months port partum and was late because of baby and transit, which I understand is not thier fault. I apologized and offered to come back but was told that she'd see me for the full amount but for only 20 minutes. I objected to this and the kinda rude receptionist told me to wait. Larissa saw me and was relatively nice and helpful but didn't actually focus on the diastecis recti which is why I was there. She was like all smiles and then was like I need to go or my whole day is at risk. I said to the receptionist that I could have just come back but was met with "we needed to charge you". Thier policy of 24 hr cancellations ( they ask to keep your credit card in file so they can charge you lol- gross) in the era of covid safety and while being a post partum clinic is pretty reprehensible. I was pretty disgusted to be honest. I do not reccomend the culture of this space. There are plenty better physios and clinics.

They have a great gym facility as well which is useful for physio and other sessions.

Expérience négative: 600 dollars and up for employees for Orthotics. Give me a break. My insurance in my other job pays 250 every two years for Orthotics. So that means I still have to pay 350. What a rip off
