Every single physiotherapist I’ve worked with has been exceptional — knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely invested in their patients’ well-being. Heather, has always treated me with such care and compassion. She takes the time to truly listen and ensures every treatment is exactly what I need to feel my best. It’s rare to find a clinic where you feel so supported and understood, but HW sets that standard. Having worked with many other clinics over the years, I can confidently say HW Physio is by far the most outstanding and patient-oriented clinic I’ve ever been to. I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received and can’t imagine going anywhere else Right down to Danielle at the front desk always brings a smile to my face, the whole team is above and beyond. Thanks for being an amazing crew!

Expérience négative: I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. I was charged for a 1-hour session when my follow-up treatment lasted only 30 minutes. When I called to clarify, I was told that they “charge 30 minutes as an hour,” which makes their service far more expensive compared to other physiotherapy clinics. I felt this was very unfair and not transparent. Instead of correcting the charge or offering any adjustment, they refused to help. Because of this, I decided to cancel my next appointment. I cannot recommend this clinic, as they do not treat customers fairly or with respect

Expérience fantastique: Laurel Pauli is a true gem! If you suffer migraines this is the Chiropractor for you! She has several different techniques/ approaches and is incredibly kind and caring. All of the staff here are amazing! (Barrhaven) I walk out every single time feeling great, less light sensitivity, nausea and even during a migraine, Ive walked out completely pain free!

It makes the world of difference when speaking on the phone to book or modify an appointment and you are greeted by someone who makes you feel like you are the most important client. You get that same feeling when visiting and in your session. I won’t go anywhere else. I use the Barrhaven and Baxter Road locations.

Everyone is super friendly and welcoming and Rachel really knows her stuff. Was a long recovery from injury but always felt like we were making progress. Would (and have) recommend her to anyone.

Expérience fantastique: I am so grateful to have found Holistic Wellness. From the staff to the environment - they are professional and welcoming. I love being able to schedule and manage my appointments online. I initially started seeing Sara for physio to help with back pain associated with scoliosis. Her mix of therapies on appointment combined with the recommended exercises at home have never failed to provide relief. When I started to experience more complex, neurological issues Sara identified that there was a problem before I even realized it, and helped me seek care as quickly as possible. She is thorough, knows her stuff, and still compassionate - she has become one of the most valued members of my healthcare team. Recently I have also started to see Melissa for massage. I have leaned away from massage in the past because I was not comfortable with the level of intimacy involved. Melissa is very skilled and professional, and ensures I am always comfortable. Even though I am a complex case, she is able to provide considerable relief to the discomforts associated with chronic back pain and spastic muscles.

Expérience fantastique: I came to this location for my first ever physio appointment and was absolutely blown away. The facility is clean, organized, and elegant, reminiscent of a modern Apple Store. My physiotherapist Luca was kind, personable, gentle, and extremely knowledgeable. As he was working on me he explained what my issues were and walked me through how these issues occurred. The whole appointment he made me feel comfortable and at ease while he worked on some of the tougher muscles. In addition, one of the owners named Heather came in to say hello and she was absolutely delightful. I can tell this is a business that cares deeply about its patients and wants to promote a family like atmosphere within its facility. I am happy to come back weekly to see Luca and I recommend that you come to this location and see Luca for your physiotherapy needs. Thank you HWPhysio!

Expérience fantastique: Really great experience. I came with 2 different injuries, both at different times. Chelsea is my physio and her knowledge is great. She really knows how to assess your injury, what to do and exercises will help you recover. I have been in other different clinics, but I will stick with this one.

Expérience fantastique: I am really glad I tried out this clinic based on family recommendation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the environment. I have been to other physios for same back pain. They are always rushing you in and out. However, HW works with one patient at a time. Worth driving half way across the city. Kiera Lepine has really helped me understand my injury and solutions. I appreciate her ways of treatment. It is not a “bandaid” solution for your injury.

Expérience fantastique: Would highly recommend, the entire place was extremely clean and all staff were very friendly and worth the drive across the city. I ended up re aggravating an old nagging injury that this time quickly turned to nerve pain down my leg. They were able to take me in on very short notice to help me figure out what the root cause of my pain/injury was. I definitely won’t be waiting as long to go see them next time I anything pops up.

Expérience fantastique: I had a new knee pain which Ryley treated using various modalities - stretches/leg movements, heat, acupuncture needles with shock therapy, massage, etc. I also got exercise homework to take home. Excellent communication on whatever he was going to do and explained what each is. Knee pain is pretty much gone. Will go for follow up in 2 weeks. I did not believe in chiro from prior experience many years ago but I am a believer now. Highly recommend Ryley! Very clean, modern facility. Evening hours for working folks. Efficient appointment booking. I nearly knocked off one star because I wish they direct-billed with my insurance plan (they accept many others but not mine) and therefore I have to bring out time to submit my receipts. A small inconvenience for great service.

Expérience fantastique: I cannot say enough good things about all the services offered at HW clinics (including sports science) Everything from my sciatica to most recently my pelvic floor, my goal has been to finally jump on a trampoline with my son… and yesterday we did a full hour at the trampoline park! My life has significantly improved by all the amazing staff and treatments offered here!

He incorporated different modalities and the neurofunctional acupuncture into my treatment, which made magic. After first vist, I had increased mobility; and after 3 visits, I was pain-free. Highly recommended!

Noticed the day before the rescheduled appointment was for a different location and only solution offered was to rebook for the original location in the New Year.... complete waste of my time, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone

Expérience fantastique: Game Changer. State of the art facility and staff. Context: Active young man (32) usually working out 4-5times a week. Usually play beach volleyball and softball during the summer and basketball (2x/week) from September to April. Background: Age caught up with me. Untreated injuries have caught up with me (when younger we think we heal by ourselves) and have impacted my ability to sustain my active lifestyle. I have been going to HW Physio since 2018 in order to treat my right left, back, chest/thoracic areas, right elbow, left shoulder and neck (injuries accumulated over time). The team: Physios - I have personally been treated by Heather and Ryan consistently who both have extensive knowledge and experience. They are amazing!! They have their own style or approach and ensure to work together in order to give me the best treatment possible. They have been helping me get better physically and also provided me mental support during difficult times (when I was in major pain and felt defeated). Their support and treatment has allowed me and will allow me to continue to have an active lifestyle for a long time. I am grateful for their hard work and dedication to help me get back on track as fast as possible! I also heard great things about other physios (such as Cara, Rachel, Scott and others) that are treatment folks I know. Chiro – I have personally been treated a few times by Riley who is an amazing person. Very charismatic, positive and will surely give you the adjustment you need (with a few cracks). Strength coach – I have recently started working out with Brent who is great (it was a recommendation from my physios)!! He has brought a new perspective to my trainings and made me realize how much I was neglecting my mobility and that this was contributing to my injuries and pain. Supporting staff – The staff is very kind and will welcome you with a big smile (may be difficult to notice with the masks at the moment). They will treat you as a priority, provide you guidance and will make sure your bed is super clean. They are well organized and work well together. Overall, the HW family will all welcome you with a big smile as soon as you enter the clinic and you will feel at home (or close) right away. Their lounge section is very comfortable. The clinic is very well decorated and super clean. They have great processes established and have adjusted super well with the COVID restrictions. I noticed that one of the owner (Travis) is often there in high-traffic times in order to help the staff with anything needed such as cleaning beds, supporting physios etc. Total team effort!! Furthermore, they use the JANE solution for online booking, which is super easy to use! I highly recommend HW Physio! I would suggest that if you call to book an appointment, ask frontdesk who may be better fit to treat you according to your injuries/situation as they have folks specializing in specific areas( Runner, pre-birth treatment, pelvic, etc). Expérience fantastique: I can't say enough nice things about Holistic Wellness Physiotherapy. My wife and I have used this practice for years for various aliments of the old. This week, I woke up with Vertigo (fun). I called up HW Physiotherapy, and they were able to see me promptly. Sarah, a physiotherapist explained what the issue was with my neck that was causing the vertigo, and fixed me up. The next morning, I was feeling perfect. The owners, Heather and Travis Wing have taken great care to create a welcoming environment, and have hand picked some of the best practitioners in the city. If you live in the South-West end of the city, and you need some physio, give them a call and make an appointment.

I'm a nursing student and I've also worked at a few hospitals in the area, and now as an employee of HW Physio working with the support staff to help navigate safety related to COVID-19 in June 2020 I can say with confidence that HW Physio is the safest place in the city to get treatment. COVID-19 precautions are executed flawlessly.

The front desk staff know you by name and treat you as if you were family from the moment you walk in. My physiotherapist (Cathy), whom I had never met before my injury, was and continues to be my favorite person to see throughout this experience and always leaves me feeling more positive and hopeful about my eventual recovery. Not to mention the extent of her knowledge on the subject and personalized and well tailored 'homework' exercises matched to my abilities and personality style. Expérience fantastique: I don't normally leave public reviews but was compelled to share my experience with this clinic. I have now had 3 appointments at Holistic Wellness (with Ryan). The second you walk through the doors there is an overwhelming positive and caring vibe from everyone in the clinic. I tend to agree with T. Roosevelt when he was quoted as saying, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". The HW staff is top notch and definitely know their stuff but more importantly they seem to genuinely care about you and your path to recovery. I'm considering injuring myself again just to hang out here more often! :) Seriously though - it's the best physio clinic I've ever been to and would have no hesitation recommending them to family and friends.

The therapy is excellent. I’ve had very fast recoveries from multiple injuries! Unlike some Physio’s or medical clinics that have a very cold/unwelcoming environment where you feel like you’re just a number. HW Physio really make you feel welcome... they actually CARE!
