From the initial meet-and-greet with Cassandra and moving forward, I've always felt at ease in articulating my goals and needs about what's explored within the therapeutic dynamic. My highest recommendation (and praise!) for the trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach that OPT has mindfully considered and fostered for their patients.

Expérience fantastique: O.P.T. has been home to me for the past 2 years ! So once I was told they've opened their physical office, for the first time since the pandemic, I jumped at the opportunity to meet my therapist, Cassandra, in person. My first impression of the office was "safe space". It's a very relaxing and comfy atmosphere, which sets the mood for my sessions. The location is steps away from ttc which is also a plus! My therapist Cassandra has a very warm presence. Since the start of my mental health journey, it was important that I not only found a therapist that was a POC, but also one that was understanding of the role I'd want them to play in my mental health journey. I appreciate the fact that she uses a holistic approach to her practice, and gives me the floor to completely open up and bare my truth without judgement. Her impact on my life has been extraordinary! Although I've done both virtual and in-person sessions, I enjoy the in-person ones the most!
