Expérience négative: I had a bad experience with Meera. I recently went in with a back and shoulder pain issue to this centre. Note: this is not my first time and I have seen plenty of therapists in the past. After spending close to 90$ in a session which barely lasts 30 mins this is probably the first time that there was zero improvements since. Now the reason for this is clear, the dry needling was done in a very weird manner, a heat pad was provided for 15 mins and then was bid good bye with just 1 exercise. No massages, cupping, or even seriously looking into a patient. Extremely dissapointed and underwhelmed with the new therapist. I used to come here often with Jay around who was exceptional, very knowledgeable, soft spoken, not intimidating at all and provided not just solutions to the problems but even identified the issues and injury areas perfectly. I’m not coming back to this centre anytime soon, atleast not until some of these experts are back! At this point I want my money back.

He explains everything thoroughly and answers every question. Very compassionate about his work and has been one of the best medical professionals I have had to see during my injury. I couldn't ask for better care, communication, and flexibility. Definitely recommended if you prefer a professional and relaxing experience. Plan on visiting in the future for a massage.

Expérience fantastique: I love this place and I hate anything to do with doctors or healthcare. I have knee/leg problems after dealing with a broken femur over a decade ago. Dr. Jay completely changed the shape of my leg muscle after one day. He uses a variety of techniques and I would totally go all the time if it was covered. The other staff are also great, everyone is incredibly nice and accommodating. And make sure to get a massage if you can!

Expérience fantastique: I have been a patient of Jay for about 3 years. I have bad hips and arthritis in my lower back. Whenever I need help I turn to Jay as I trust him. He explains every procedure before he does it, is very professional and very friendly. He puts me at ease as soon as I walk in the door. (which is special as you don't want to be tense when dealing with muscles and joints). He is also very gentle and compassionate. He cares about his patients and it shows. Every time he gives me a treatment I feel better walking out than before I went in. My husband is also a patient and goes to Jay when needed. I HIGHLY recommend Spirit of Physiotherapy!!!

Expérience fantastique: I had a work related injury on my wrists, and Dr Jay’s treatment has been wonderful so far. He knows exactly what to do with his experience, and his knowledge is very wide. He listens to the client carefully, makes a treatment plan with the combinations of physiotherapist and acupuncturist skill. He teaches me some exercises which I can do at home, and the exercises help my wrist condition better and consistency. If somebody needs treatment, especially work related, I recommend!

Expérience fantastique: I had a 15 year old knee injury that prevented me from jogging for longer than 5-7 minutes. Three previous physiotherapists over the years were not able to diagnose me correctly nor were able to fix my issues. I had resigned myself to the idea that I would never be able to jog for longer than 5 mins. Jay changed that in 3 visits. This may sound funny but I swear he seems to be able to blend the best of old world healing, expertise and a registered, super knowledgeable therapist. He also managed to fix my wife’s 2 year old elbow problem. Very knowledgeable and caring and provides a truly fantastic experience. It makes me happy knowing that a place like this and a person like Jay exists here.

Expérience fantastique: I first was treated by Jay when he was a 5 min walk from my house. Even though he is now a 30 min drive away, I still make the trip! When I very recently had severe neck pain and mobility issues, the only person I trusted was Jay. He's treated multiple family members as well, both adults and children alike. Jay is multitalented and brings an interdisciplinary approach to his treatment, with an impeccable bedside manner. He recently introduced me to his massage therapist, who provided a strong yet gentle massage. Very effective! I cannot say enough about this clinic and the amazing professionals who truly know what they are doing.

I'd like to also add that I had massage therapy sessions with Brandon Taylor. He's a perceptive and gifted massage therapist. He and Bonny are a tandem. I knew for a fact that they consult one another when it comes to my concerns on why I had to do physiotherapy and massage therapy. They're truly professionals in their chosen fields of expertise. I'm one satisfied patient and I highly recommend them both. So again, thank you for the care and added assignments (exercises).

My right leg thigh muscles had weakened so badly that climbing stairs had become very painful. It is then that I sought Jay’s help at Spirit of Physiotherapy and Massage. Expérience fantastique: I had this chronic back and ribs pain for almost three years in which I've seen over 12 different professionals, physiotherapies, massage therapies, dry needling, acupuncture, chiropractic to name a few and none of them could fix it. Until two weeks ago I took a massage with Melissa Caissie. Melissa only works there on Saturdays for now and for some reason the therapy technique that she uses (she uses her thumb a lot) really worked on me and since then I have not felt the pain that I had for almost 3 years whatsoever. This made a huge impact in my life balance as feeling that pain was definitely challenging and difficult to withstand. If you have any similar chronic pain, I would highly recommend you to go see Melissa. She is a great professional and fixed a chronic pain that no doctors or therapists could fix before. Jay and Katica both are well experienced and I have been going there for 3 months for physiotherapy and much satisfied with the treatment. There are two massage therapists when I went there last, and I have only received a massage from Elizabeth a few times. They are some of the best massages I have ever had. She was thorough with asking questions. She asked throughout the massage how the pressure was, and was concerned on how I was the entire time. The atmosphere in the room was relaxing and I found it easy to want to take a wee nap. I left there feeling relaxed, my body was calm and felt incredibly good. Suffering from chronic pain, these massages are like little pieces of heaven. I need to get back in there for a massage now! Jay, is a wonderful, compassionate, and amazing physiotherapist! I have never met another one like him. He is thorough in asking questions and assessing the problem. Someone who is passionate and wants to help heal and give tools to help his patients continue on at home. He has helped me manage and fix many issues throughout my body. From two car accidents, to chronic pain, years of bad posture from work and not taking care of myself the best I should have. That creates a whole world of problems, pains, injuries, issues, etc. We worked on the worst and would assess each session differently. Some days lower body work/ back/ knees etc, or upper body, neck, shoulders, upper back etc. Jay is like a friend, never do I feel like a number, or someone just to get in and out. He takes his time to work with you, from start to finish. He is very caring. I have had numerous treatments with him from acupuncture, dry needling, electrotherapy(TENS machine) etc. etc. From each, I have benefitted in numerous ways. Some feeling instant relief, and others taking more time to feel relief. However; noticing better movement almost instantly. If you are looking for a physiotherapist. Looking to heal, manage pain. I got few sittings at this clinic and am very happy to state that there is major improvement. The pain is very much reduced and last week I even started playing tennis again.
