Expérience fantastique: I’m a runner and been having persistent lower body injuries lately running with some discomfort. Physio was helping but still needed some additional work. Met with Andrew and he was able to pinpoint the issue on the first visit. He provided me with an exercise plan to incorporate with my existing training exercises and after a week the discomfort was resolved and I’m able to run pain free. Andrew was informative, easy to work with and accessible for future treatment.

I ruptured a disc in my cervical Spine and the pain and numbness was unbearable but Joe had me feeling better and more confident in my strength in no time! He was incredibly thorough and informative. He designed exercise routines tailored to my specific needs. He would assess my progress using the latest in equipment/technology and adjust my exercise routines based on these results. Expérience fantastique: After a shoulder injury that has severely impacted my ability to work out I ended up at Ascend Health to see Mitchell Elliott. I was hopeful that some chiropractic care would be the solution and I can say now that my shoulder has never been better! Mitchell was analytical and informative. After some tests and conversation we came up with a game plan for my rehab. 2 weeks later and I was able to workout again and now after a few months I have had no issues and have been completely pain free. I’m now seeing Mitchell on a regular basis, 1-2 times per month and working on other things like ankles and spinal mobility. I couldn’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a Chiropractor in St. John’s!!

By treating the root cause of the problem and your pain instead of focusing only on symptoms, I find this to be the best approach for me and am very happy to have come across this clinic. Often times, many clinics only work to treat symptoms which is a short term solution that has never worked for me. By focusing on the root cause of my pain, building back strength and completing recommended exercises, etc. I am finally starting to see improvements. Joe, physiotherapist & also the owner of Ascend is amazing, very knowledgeable, great to deal with, & truly cares about each client’s needs. All staff I’ve encountered there are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially the ladies on the front desk! The space itself is very new, clean, & nicely designed with a large gym space and private rooms for 1-on-1 sessions. Would absolutely recommend Ascend Health for any of your rehab needs.

Joe, along with his colleagues, are extremely skilled and educated professionals, taking part in additional courses and education to make sure they are educated as can be and so the best practices can be used at their clinic, with focuses on dry needling, concussion management, and the list goes on. The overall big picture of the clinic with having the variety of services and professionals in different areas shows the focus on overall health and well-being, and is something not seen in many clinics. I went to see Joe to address some issues I was having with my back. We did a few sessions, coupled with some at home exercises and I was feeling 100% again! What set the experience apart for me, was once I was feeling better I didn’t have to continue booking weekly maintenance appointments like I have in the past, I didn’t feel pressured to continue my care once I was feeling good, in fact I was encouraged to only reach out if I needed his care again! Now I still have some coverage with my insurance in the event I need it!! This team truly cares about your well being and it shows!

It’s clean, It’s fresh, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The decor is beautiful, from the waiting room sofa to the fine detail of the hand crafted slat wood receptions deck. A very tasteful design throughout the space. Every aspect was well thought out and executed wonderfully. The administration team is friendly, efficient and very helpful - They enhance your experience as soon as you walk through the door! Joe is an absolutely fantastic Physiotherapist. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding. He goes above and beyond to ensure that he is continuously learning and staying up to date with the newest research so that can provide the best possible care to his clients. Joe helped me tremendously last year when dealing with chronic neck pain and I am so grateful that I came across his care! Expérience fantastique: From the moment I walked in the experience was 5 star . Instantly met friendly smiles at reception & the place is very clean/aesthetically pleasing . I chose to go to ascend due to the fact that in my profession back / shoulder and neck pain tend to be an issue ..because of this I was looking for a clinic & therapist who is very well educated & knowledgeable ( not just a relaxation massage ) . Truly the first time not only having my issues heard but more importantly taken care of . Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

They are friendly to talk to, and always efficiently rebook you when your appointment is finished. I have recently seen Joe Yetman for Physiotherapy to help manage chronic running injuries. His passion for his profession, and the well-being of his clients does not go unnoticed. Without him I would not have been able to train to the best of my abilities. Joe uses an exercise based approach to rehabilitation which I throughly enjoyed, and he took into consideration my busy lifestyle when creating my rehab program. I was able to integrate my rehab exercises into my normal running warm up so I was not taking extra time out of my day to do more exercises. The time, energy and consideration Joe puts into his patient care is amazing, and everyone should get to experience that when rehabbing an injury. If you are in need of a physio, Joe is your guy!
