Expérience fantastique: Had to go to Telus Santé for a US immigration exam. The receptionists were super friendly and professional. I saw Nurse Amanda, she is lovely. She was very kind and funny. I then saw DR Llana, she is very kind as well. She is a great listener. The X-ray staff was also very kind and efficient. I was on site for about 3 hours. Make sure you bring something to keep you busy and entertained while you wait. ***edit: The only bad thing I would have to say about Telus Health was that they never told me they sent my medical results to the embassy. It caused a lot of stress but in the end, all is well.

Expérience fantastique: I had to write a review for this clinic because I've been here three times for my immigration medical exam. These exams take a long time but I really find that everyone at the clinic is very friendly and professional and they try to be as fast as possible. The administrative staff, doctors, and nurses especially are really kind and efficient. They know what they are doing and I've only had good experiences here. They know the process is long and they try to make it painless for you. As well, it is really easy to make an appointment over the phone and their staff is extremely professional.

Expérience fantastique: The reviews are a bit scary however don't let that deter you! This is one of the only places that is approved for immigration medical exams for the US Embassy. Finding the clinic is easy. The staff are both French and English speaking. The receptionist I dealt with was kind, informative and a delight to deal with. My doctor (Dr. Ilana Galperin) was quick and professional. Immigration medical exam expectations: Expect initial intake/documents to take 30 mins. You will be seated in the waiting area in-between tests. You start with blood, then x-rays and finish with seeing the doctor. Each step takes approximately 5 minutes. You will have to wait for the front staff to get your final bill prepared prior to being called up and paying (my wait for this was approx. 20 mins). My appointment was booked first thing at 7am (first in) and I left the office by 9:30am. (Noting I did have most of the immunizations completed prior to my appointment). Remember this time can fluctuate drastically by how busy the clinic is and when your appointment time is initially booked for. I strongly recommend booking it as early as possible to decrease your wait time and be seen on time. The cost was disclosed as $450 and I paid exactly $466.55 on January 24, 2024; noting this cost is for the US medical. As of December 2023 for the US medical exam you are now required to have a COVID vaccine within 12 months of the exam. I had to book this at a pharmacy and email in proof of vaccination to finish my file. This was completed January 25th (1 day after my initial appointment). I received confirmation that the exam was sent on January 30, 2024 to the consulate electronically with no issues. The x-ray disc they mail directly to you actually beat me back home.

Expérience fantastique: Came here for me immigration exam. It’s pretty expensive (450$ for the exam + 1 blood test + 1 flu vaccine) and it’s long (2h30 total for X-ray, nurse consultation for the vaccine and blood test, doctor consultation, and waiting for them to update your file process the payment). But they are all very nice, the receptionists are very helpful, and they do their job well. So the experience is positive.

Expérience fantastique: The people are nice and the service goes as fast as you would expect it to go. You need to get there a little early in order to do the registration process and get all the paperwork done. If you are searching for a place to do your immigration medical exam, this one worked for me. Also, in case you are wondering the price was around 330 dollars after tax.

Expérience fantastique: I just called to make an appointment for the 1017E medical examination. The operator was super friendly, and they could make an appointment until the next working day. Making an appointment directly after the call is connected is simple and efficient, and I feel very comfortable service before going to the medical examination.

Expérience fantastique: je ne comprends pas les mauvais avis ... pour un Exam médical immigration rdv le 20 février a 8h45 arriver avec une heure d'avance pour se faire enregistrer a l'accueil ( pile ce qu'il fallait surtout qu'on te donne de quoi faire ton test d'urine en attendant que le médecin t'appelle) le Dr O'Brien m'accueille a 8h55 ressorti au bout de 5min a 9h on enchaine avec la radio des poumons ressortie au bout de 10 min et vers 9h30 l'infirmière pour la prise de sang tension .... je serais sorti avec le tout complété au bout d'une heure si je n'avais pas eu a refaire un second test d'urine résultat transmis a IRCC 3 jours après tous le personnel est agréable et souriant de même que le médecin et les infirmières Pour une EMI je recommande

Expérience négative: Waited hours for what should have been a 30 minute exam. Bring a book or something because you will be bored waiting. The doctor I saw was not the female doctor that I was told I would be seeing on my appointment letter. Nurse drew blood and bruised the F out of my arm, and left my arm bloody, just slapping a cotton ball on top. The charge for an immigration exam is astronomical and feels like a scam for just an X-ray, blood test, and very basic physical - I feel like they are taking advantage of the fact that there are so few USA immigration doctors in Canada so they can charge the huge fee (~$500). Were not flexible at all about fitting me in before my immigration interview even though I was flying in from western Canada, meaning I either had to fly in for the exam and come back or stay over a week in Montreal. Was overall the worst part of the immigration experience in Montreal. To their credit I will say they were extremely fast at mailing the X-ray disc and vax document to my house- but the vax document, which is an extremely important piece of immigration paperwork, was carelessly stapled to the envelope with the X-ray disc. For $500 put it in a folder or something, geez. Any health clinic owned by a huge corporation is sus for a reason.

Et pas qu'un peu. Il devrait y avoir des barèmes pour éviter cela . On parle de 300$ de différences. C'est invraisemblable.

Expérience fantastique: Had a great experience! Thank you to all the staff for making the process so easy. I was in and out in under 1hr and a half for my K1 medical. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The clinic was spotless. The staff was friendly, jovial and helpful. The process was really well organized and smooth. I did check what was needed for my immigration medical and had all the vaccines and documents. Possibly some wait times would be longer if you have not prepared well.

Expérience positive: I see quite a lot people complaining about their long waiting time. But isn't that normal in Canada? If you don't want to wait, try to get an appointment at early in the morning like 7.15am. My medical exam for Canadian PR was at 7.15am and I was out at around 9. It wasn't too bad for me. They told me the result will be sent to IRCC in 10 business days but I received an update in 2 days and it appeared in my IRCC account at the same time. Thing processed very fast. However one thing I was a bit unhappy with is that when I made the appointment I was told that I need to bring a proof of the covid vaccination. But I didn't know it has to be PDF. I though the VaxiCode would be it.

Expérience positive: It's a nice clean clinic, front desk was kind and communicated what needed to be done very well. Just have two tiny complaints that kind of ruined my experience. There was no soap in the bathroom over the course of the 2.5 hours I was there, which is strange considering we're in a pandemic/people are taking their urine samples in there. Secondly, while the nurse was great, she badly bruised my arm with the blood draw. It was quite a painful experience while she was doing it/the rest of the day. I get blood drawn fairly regularly and have never been in pain/bruised like this before. I know accidents happen, but I did feel like she was in a rush. For a place that really charges you a lot (I paid around $540 for this appointment), I think the staff should be more attentive and careful.

Expérience négative: I did a medical exam for my visa and asked to receive a copy of my results. I paid in the first time more than $300. I received an email saying that I need to pay again to get my results. $30 + tax for the report and for the x-ray I need to pay $15 + tax for the CD. It's unbelievable!! I don't recommand this clinic very expensive for nothing

Expérience négative: After making sure it was ok over the phone, when on the premises, I was denied entry for my medical for immigration due to the fact that I am an emergency nurse and let them know that I work with proper protective equipment but take care of patients that may or may not be covid positive. This is the only company in Quebec responsible for US immigration medicals, and they apparently don't have a doctor on site to confirm that nurses are allowed access to services. This was an insulting experience to be discriminated due to the nature of my work in a period that is extremely difficult, where nurses are frontline workers helping the community. Not to mention the delays added to immigration when families have been separated for over 8 months due to the border closure.

Expérience négative: Service presque inutile et te réfère toujours en clinique ... sans compter les milliers de questions qu’ils te posent pour finalement te dire qu’ils ne peuvent pas t’aider. Ils annoncent des services qu’ils ne sont même pas capable d’offrir. Ne perdez pas votre temps, essaye autre chose , très décevant et pour ma part l’application est déjà retiré .

From reception to the services required, be it the Doctor's office, nursing station, imaging or even the washroom - everything is spotless - and from representative to representative - I was greeted with a professional and warm welcome. As soon as a patient left the waiting area, a team member came to sanitize the chairs. Appointments are on schedule.

Expérience négative: Same bad experience as others. Not only spent 4 hours there to do a basic body exam, the MOST DISGUSTING PART is that they charge addition money if you want your results, which you already paid for it. What kind of logic? I went there just because it's close to me.

Expérience négative: I am usually not someone who writes negative reviews but the services received at Medisys got me very disappointed, here is my experience: The medical staff are friendly and very effective. However, if you need any visa/immigration medical test done avoid this clinic. The administration services was so disappointing. I had to follow-up every day in order to receive the confirmation that my medical documentation was complete and sent to the immigration services. Whenever I called the reception provided me a different ETA and their service was NOT friendly and NOT professional. Knowing that Medisys is a private clinic that I spent 600$ + for basic medical checks I would expect better services across the admin staff.

Expérience négative: When you book a phone call appointment make sure to call a half hour before as they seem to forget sometimes. It happened to me even though I booked two weeks in advance. I'm rather disappointed because it costs a lot and the return on the investment is not that much better than in the public system. You save a bit of time.

They did not make us reschedule or get angry with us, though they could have, and ultimately we were able to straighten it all out. The clinic handles an extremely high volume of patients per day, many include complicated paperwork and extra picky procedures to fulfill multi-government requirements. The wait was long, but most of the medical staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The results were ready in 3 business days. I've had much worse experiences, so I'm glad this wasn't one of those nightmares.

Expérience négative: That van dyke doctor is an horrible human being not at all professional literally mean to patients... she should not even be allowed to see patients not good at all with people... or maybe she is just jugemental either way she should not be autorised to deal, prescribe, advise nor consult for private companies.... as she puts their employees future in jeopardy...

Expérience négative: The facilities and doctors are nice. But if you want to get your test results you need to pay another 30 cad on top of what you already paid and you need to wait 4 business days to get the results. It feels as if they don't want to give you your results.

Expérience positive: Personnel aimable mais des informations précieuses pour la clientèle féminine ne sont pas données (vous ne pouvez pas compléter tous vos tests pendant et 7 jours après vos menstruations ). Donc vous perdez 2 semaines sur un test qui doit être envoyé obligatoirement 30 jours après la réception de votre demande d'immigration. Vous avez donc deux fois moins de possibilités qu'un homme. Cela est bien dommage à moins que vous concevez à payer la différence pour que l'analyse ne prête pas attention au sang menstruel... En plus d'être inégal je dois assumer financièrement cette différence? Donc deux RDV très longs. Si vous devez refaire le test urinaire on vous dira de passer sans RDV et cela sera rapide. C'est faux, prévoir une heure d'attente. Toutefois le personnel est cordial.

Expérience négative: Medical staff were friendly and good, yes there was a long wait but it was expected. Main issue is that they forgot to include a piece of information for the consulate and we ended up waiting a week - in a hotel, missing work and school - for it to be sent because "the person it was addressed to only works Mondays" So if that happens to you, call the next day to make sure someone is actually sending the information.

Expérience négative: I was there today at 12 PM for an immigration medical exam (Medical consult + X-ray + Urine and blood sample). At 2 PM my exams still had not being completed (I waited over 1 hour for a blood exam). I had to leave the clinic because of a work appointment without all the exams done. I ended up booking the same service in another clinic. Medisys is disrespectful of their clients time and their services are extremely poorly managed. Definitely not recommended.

Expérience négative: J’avais rendez-vous a 7h10. Puis après avoir vu l’infirmière et 1h45 d’attente plus tard on me dit que le medecin qui doit traiter mon dossier n’est pas encore arrivé et qu’il est dans une autre clinique. On me demande donc d’attentre que le médecin arrive sans savoir dans combien de temps il serait là. Pourquoi on me donne rendez-vous avec un médecin qui n’est pas là ?!? J’ai jamais vu ça... ne prenez pas rendez-vous dans cette clinique

Expérience fantastique: Enfin un médecin qui prend son temps pour écouter toutes les inquiétudes et donner des conseils. Agréablement surprise par les conseils offerts par la nutritionniste. Clinique spacieuse et confortable.

Expérience négative: the Doctor is very nice .. but I feel taken advantage of when they charged me over $400 for a physical and thought my Group Insurance would cover it but it didn't. I don't understand why I was charged any fees when this should be free under the Provincial Health Service

Expérience négative: A greedy place... I was under the impression that as part of the "Annual Physical" and "Executive Health Program" I was entitled to see a doctor. Not so. You can have a sinus infection and need to see a doctor for 15 minutes and it will cost you 175$ just to get a prescription. Sure the facilities are nice, but the ambition and greed of Medisys should make you very weary indeed.

Expérience négative: Belle salle d'attente mais... Le service y est inexistant, le médecin a de la misère à comprendre le français, j'ai dû lui faire corriger son rapport dû a des erreurs de "traduction". 3h45 pour un test de santé, j'aurais dû aller à l'urgence.

Expérience négative: Trop cher payé pour le peu de services rendus! La clinique n'est jamais rejoignable et ne retourne pas les appels dans 75% des cas. Un médecin spécialiste a omis de remplir un document et de le joindre à mon dossier. Pour réussir à avoir des nouvelles de la situation par l'intermédiaire des secrétaires médicales, j'ai dû contacter la clinique pas moins de cinq fois en trois semaines et à ce jour, il n'y a toujours aucune modification à mon dossier. Est-ce si difficile de rejoindre ledit médecin???
