Expérience fantastique: I'm so glad that I found Dr. Trotter. I have to admit I was skeptical of Naturopathy. Then I read about what is required to become a Doctor of Naturopathy. After reading about Dr. Trotter, I felt he was the right practitioner for me. He, like me, felt a proper diet was the best drug. I had been suffering from vertigo, dizziness, nausea, and very bad migraines for 3 years. Progressively getting worse as time went on. My GP was of limited help. I didn't want to take Rx to resolve my health problems. Dr. Trotter guided me through the stages to determine what was causing my symptoms. After several consultations and trials, we were able to pinpoint what was causing my problems and take steps to make my symptoms go away. He is a great listener. I started seeing him because of a very serious digestive issue which he helped me understand and manage through diet changes and supplements. The diagnostics he did were the most comprehensive and I prefer a data/evidence driven approach. Unlike a typical MD experience you have a conversation and can explore ideas. I started my treatment for acne in December, I had been to a naturopath before and had no results in just a span of 4 months my acne has reduced significantly. He is very knowledgeable takes time to get to know you and how your body functions and then recommends supplements. Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend Makoto Trotter and Zen-Tai Wellness. I have been a client of Makoto’s since 2007. He’s done so much to help me recover my health since that time. He’s the only medical practitioner who has ever solved any of my health issues, and I have had a long list of issues. Most recently, I was dealing with symptoms stemming from menopause and high blood sugar. I was at my wits end after working with my family doctor and a specialist. Even though both of those doctors were very attentive and tried to help me over the course of almost a year, I was still suffering from the same symptoms I had when I first went to them. I was miserable. I finally contacted Makoto for a phone appointment and within 10 days, the main symptoms that had been causing me such discomfort and pain, were almost gone. I have been working with Makoto pretty consistently since last June, and I feel better than I have in a long time. He’s very supportive and knowledgeable. Also, his protocols are easy to follow. Expérience fantastique: There are not enough words I can use to discribe how grateful I am to Dr. Trotter. 7 years ago I was hospitalized & no amount of tests (MRI, ultrasounds, ECG, etc) were able to find what was wrong with me. I was so sick and so weak from my body rejecting all food and liquids that doctors told my family to make arrangements if my body didnt fight and resist whatever I had. I did fight and used every ounce of strength left in me to be able to get well enough to leave the hospital. When I was discharged I immediately started to look for anyone/anything that could help me find what happened to me and what was wrong. I found Dr. Trotter and he was able to answer all my questions and more that for 20 plus years I had been trying to figure out by going to family doctors and specialists who just dismissed my worries with a “its a phase, get some blood work, its just low iron, its a teenager thing-you’ll get over it”. Long story short, I truly believe he saved me. If he didnt find out what I had, I probably would have ended up hospitalized again and wouldnt be so lucky the 2nd time.
