Expérience négative: If I could give less of a rating I would. The fact that you cannot contact people directly by phone is just a disgrace. And not for anything if email is the only option then maybe the response time should be a lot better. DO BETTER! People are relying on the facility to get in contact with their specialists.

Expérience négative: I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist at this clinic. I reached out with an important medical concern, expecting at least some guidance or a clear explanation. Instead, the receptionist was completely unhelpful, unable to provide even a basic response about why my message wasn’t conveyed to the doctor.She kept me confused like she would convey my concern.At last when my husband went there to ask for my prescription today, he learned that actually the dr was on holiday.And nothing was done. Not only did they fail to assist me, but their attitude also lacked professionalism and empathy. A medical clinic should prioritize patient care, and communication is a crucial part of that. Unfortunately, this receptionist made an already stressful situation even worse. If you value your health, proper communication and support, I’d think twice before relying on this clinic.I will definitely change my clinic although my doctor is very good.Since there is no value , if you can not communicate with your doctor about an urgent problem.

Expérience négative: Ugh this is so unfortunate! Dr. Sarah Monsenego is fantastic, however, LMC is a problem. They do not answer phones at all, despite several reviews on here for the same issue, they respond that customer experience is a priority to them, it's not. If customer experience was a priority to them, they would have fixed the reason they keep getting bad reviews over, they simply do not care. I wonder what they will respond to my review as I already pre called out the fake we care about customer experience under every lack of a phone system review. Have you no shame? People dealing with health issues deserve a human receptionist. Period. Our lives are stressful enough with our conditions.

Expérience positive: Dr. D’Silva was on time, he’s very through with the test results and details on treatments & options. The clinics policy on contacting them by telephone is not working for the patients as no one ever answers the phone. One has to email them for everything. There are times when one may have a last minute cancellation or have a question, it’s very frustrating. Please address this issue.

Expérience positive: While I have great experience with my care at LMC in Vaughan , I am super frustrated that I cannot reach anyone by phone. I tried to reschedule my appointment and have yet to hear back. I also texted. When trying to call on the day to confirm it was cancelled , you have to send yet another email. Hard to do while you are driving. I see other complaints about it and they are requested to email them about it!! You need an open phone line.

Expérience négative: Don’t share your credit card information with their platform. This place accounting department is completely unprofessional , not following the rules, and does not know how to handle the simple transaction. They charged my Visa three times for one prescription without even confirming the extra charges with me. On top of that, they haven’t provide the receipt. When I tried to get a receipt to submit to my insurance, their front desk couldn’t provide one. I had to take half a day off work just to go there in person since they are impossible to reach by phone, and even then, they still couldn’t help me.

Expérience négative: You can’t get a live person to accept your calls. I’ve emailed with no response to the point I had to email my doctor directly. LMC has the nerve to send my a marketing email to have me pay for additional services. Try giving me the basic’s first. My Doctor changed the dosage of my medication and asked me to call if I don’t feel well so he can increase it back up. I said I won’t be doing that, he apologized about sending emails it’s beyond his control. To bad the Doctors and staff are very good here. But I guess profits are more important to LMC than patient care. How do I give a minus star rating?

Expérience négative: the LMC management has to do something about the phone system, it is totally ludicrous that you can,t speak to someone or get a call back. I have been a patient of Dr. Daitchman for the past 20 years, I have a currently have a appointment in Jan/25 that I need to cancel and re-book for April 25. I spent 2 hrs on your automated system to make the changes no luck.I called the head office to see if they could help, it is also automated. Finally I sent a email to the general email box (which states they will reply within 24 hrs) still waiting, the only choice left is to actually visit the office in person, or look for another facility

Expérience négative: Dear responder The 1 star is for the poorly implemented phone system where I can never talk to an actual person. I understand that you may be doing this to alleviate a high volume of calls, but having email accounts for everything will simply lead to a high volume of emails. Furthermore, there’s still the possibility of emails going to spam and some people don’t feel comfortable typing an email from a phone or in front of a computer. There are many endocrinologists for us patients to choose from and new ones being started. You might be losing patients who prefer to talk to a real person to another clinic who does provide this benefit

Expérience négative: LMC is charging through a paid service for live agent to book appointments, refilling prescriptions outside of doctor appointments window and filling medical forms. The service clearly states that refills to Pharmacies will not be refilled for non-paid members. It's quite concerning that the clinic charges for services of vulnerable ill people with Diabetes and other illnesses. I hope the clinic reconsiders this new unfair policy of charging clients for prescription refills and making appointment changes through a live agent.

Expérience fantastique: I was booked with the specialist by my family Dr. I liked how clean the place is and organized. They keep reminding you of appointments and what to have ready. I also used the eye clinic and did the advanced test. Dr was so good too and went into details. It is also easy to access by TTC and 2 buses stop there which is important for me. You are treated with respect and my DR is great and so helpful and listened to all my concerns and answered them and gave me options too. I highly recommend this clinic. Might try the foot care soon.

Expérience positive: The only thing that concerned me was the blood pressure reading of 150. This is the second time at this clinic that I have had 150 as a reading. Previous to this all my readings have topped off at 130. I was a little surprised that the Doctor did not seem too worried about the high reading.(in my opinion) After the appointment I went to Shoppers Drug Mart to do a blood pressure thest. Here the reading was 126/88. I consider this normal for me. My thinking is that the blood pressure apparatus at the clinic is not properly callibrated. There is no other explanation for the high readings at the clinic.

Expérience fantastique: I've been going to LMC for approximately five years and have nothing but positive experiences to share. This LMC Healthcare Vaughan clinic is definitely one of the best clinics I've visited. The Administrative Assistants are welcoming and consistently helpful. The nurse practitioner is incredibly kind and never makes you feel uncomfortable, even when your readings aren't ideal, such as weight. Dr. D'Sylva is exceptionally knowledgeable and ensures you feel at ease discussing medical concerns. He's very approachable about anything.

Expérience négative: EDIT: Edited from 2 to 1 star after hearing LMC horror stories from other people in my life living with diabetes. While my experience with staff has generally been above board, the lack of respect, compassion, and dignity shown to my friends and colleagues is beyond reprehensible. I will be seeking out alternatives to my diabetes care. An organization of this scale should have behavioural and care standards for their doctors. ORIGINAL: Care is good, but the patient experience is nonexistent. I’d much rather have a quick phone call to sort out appointment questions than play email-tag all day, but they’ve long since discontinued their phone line. I feel like I’ll need to start looking for a new Endo if they don’t put more effort into making their care accessible.

Expérience négative: This poor level of service for diabetes is unacceptable. All their changes have made their end easier but have made the customer experience totally unbearable. It’s impossible to get timely prescription renewals, there’s NO ONE to contact by telephone anymore, pharmacies have to fax 10+ times repeatedly etc. Make your doctor refer you to anywhere else than any LMC location.

Expérience négative: I tried calling and got an IVR system with no option to speak to someone unless i know an extension...i just wanted to confirm whe the next appointment...there is no way to speak to a human being!!!! The system hangs up the phone after telling you to go to the website or send an email. I sent an email..two actually..and got a bounce back !!!!! This is a terrible system, I can't imagine how older people can navigate this system. This is the problem with large corporations that took over our Healthcare.

Expérience négative: This is the worst clinic I ever dealt with. It is almost impossible to get through as they have removed a phone booking system and they do not respond to their emails. This is very challenging for older patients who are not technically savvy. I also have concerns about Dr. Sionit who sends his patients to his assistant who is not even a nurse practitioner. My mother had a stroke and I wanted to have a proper assessment performed by a licensed doctor! Once I started raising my concerns and threatened to file a complaint he personally phoned me and set a virtual appointment with us. However, on the date of appointment he did not bother to show up. We waited for 50 minutes online; I sent 2 messages to their office and they did not bother to respond. The clinic is a taxpayer's burden and must be shut down. I'm fed up! I'm filing a complaint with College of Physicians.

Expérience fantastique: Highly recommend LMC Optical clinic. My experience was a seamless and pleasant transition from reception to eye examinations with the latest equipment and highly skilled technicians to my examination with Dr Blackstien. He is caring and patiently answered all my many questions about the tests that had just been taken. I then was able to walk down the hall and chose new glasses from a wide range of the latest frames with some honest helpful advice from Stanya and Raimonda. I love my new glasses and I love how easy it was to check on the health of my eyes and pick out my new glasses in under an hour

Expérience négative: Dr. Monsonego is wonderful and answers any questions I have about my thyroid disease, but the customer service & appointment system/phone system are complete disasters. There is no way to speak to anyone on the phone when calling the office, not even an option to leave a voicemail, and emails are either never returned or they are responded to 3-5+ days later. Very disappointing & I feel awful for any older individuals who can’t access emails or want to speak to someone to answer questions.

Expérience négative: I was in the clinic today for the first time. The first impression was horrible! All staff are spooky with the sad faces, even not replying to your greeting and remind you a factory in a socialist country. I've been waiting for 5 month to see Dr. Sionit and finally got the appointment to see him. the sequence was to fill up the form and accepting health data can be shared ( hopefully they are not going to sell it), nonetheless I've sign two different pages in hope can be used for science. The second impression was meeting with Tabassum Ikhtiar who is a Physician Assistant (PA) and told me that she was practicing as a Doctor in her home country, nonetheless she was referring to an incomplete bloodwork that my family doctor's ordered 5 month ago and told me that I'm doing good and no need for bloodwork, no need to come back for a year. I told her that she cannot make such a decision since she is not doctor in Canada. The third impression was when Dr. Sionit came and reversed her decision completely, I was impressed with his professional approaches and will go back to see him in 4 months hopefully the clinic can get rid of Tabassum Ikhtiar who was ignoring my health conditions and trying to send me to nowhere after 2.5 years looking for a specialist and 5 month waiting to see Dr. Sionit.

Expérience fantastique: We used to visit optometrist clinic for kids check up every year. Professional, kids friendly stuff. They respect and care about their small clients a lot. Explain every problem, all process. Kids listen them like an adult and follow their recommendations at home. Stuff really know how to convince teenagers to follow recommendations and be careful with their eyes. They also have a big choice of glasses, frames and great price.

Expérience négative: They have changed their system to and voice recorded IVR phone system that only tells you to email appointment cancellations, changes, etc. It doesn't give you the option to talk to someone at all. So I emailed the email addresses to request my blood lab requisition, cancel or change my appointment numerous times well before my appointment and no response. How is a patient supposed to get any assistance? No email or phone response? This system is not working.

Expérience négative: Back in October, my Family Doctor sent a referral, and weeks later, I received a text message indicating I had an appointment with Dr. Monsonego in March. Unfortunately, no one called to book the appointment, and I have a travel outside Canada, returning the following day. I called and sent an email asking to reschedule, and all they said was the next available date was November, I burst into tears explaining I could not wait a year, and then they sent an email replaying to take it or leave it. Awfully managed and awful service. How is it possible that the initial referral has a wait time of 4 months, and now that I’m forced to change the date because they unilaterally chose a day without even asking, they have the nerve to say I have to wait 12 months since the initial referral. Worst clinic ever.

Expérience négative: The booking system through emails is very frustrating, lengthy in response time and very patient-unfriendly. I emailed to reschedule 10 days prior to an appointment. I was given a date nearly 3 months later and when date was given there was no time provided with the appointment date. I asked for the time of the appointment and it's been nearly one week with no response. This is unacceptable to have the only method to communicate to health professionals for appointments by email. There should be more options to communicate to the clinic than just email for patients who could be vulnerable. If this continues, I will be looking for a more patient friendly clinic who offer better communication options with health professionals.

Expérience négative: The service is now absolutely horrendous. They’ve gotten ridden of the option to speak to someone to change or request info about appointments. You now have to email an address that takes days to respond to you. The wait for an appointment is atrocious. After waiting 6 months for my appointment, the clinic called and moved my phone appointment to an in person appointment without telling me. No notice was provided by Ruth that this is an in person appointment. When I went to change the date I was told it’s a 5 month wait and it’s in person. Shocking. My original appointment was changed due to their availability which caused this whole issue. Unfortunately no one seems to care.

Expérience fantastique: I cannot say enough good things about the staff and service at the optical clinic. I had a minor problem getting used to my new glasses, and they spent a ton of time making sure that I was comfortable with them. I love my glasses now. I highly highly recommend this clinic.

Expérience positive: Although it also has multiple medical practices within it's premises, I was surprised that there was no wheelchair available on site. If I had not carried a wheelchair in my car, my wife would not have been able to enter the Medical Center to keep her appointment. I was told that none were available.!

Expérience négative: I would like to share my story. This summer I became very ill and ended up admitted to a local Toronto hospital, they were awesome! The hospital wanted me to see my endocrinologist, Dr. Rambaldini at LMC whom I have been a patient of for many years, as soon as possible. NYGH sent two letters to the clinic and Dr. Rambaldini requesting an urgent appointment to help me with the current issue and because I had a surgery booked for 6 weeks later. We never receive a reply. I tried multiple times to get a timely appointment without success. I was finally offered an appointment four and a half months later! I asked to speak with the office administrator hoping to make my case but was declined. I have never before asked for any special treatment or consideration. I am so disappointed in this clinic and my doctor, I truly feel abandoned and helpless.

Expérience négative: STAY AWAY!!!! I wish I could give this place a -1000 stars. I have been waiting since March to see a doctor. I have been bounced from one location to the next with no explanation. A reception will call and say that they cannot take me at that location which is fine. It has been 5 months since my doctor has referred me. However, I have yet to get a call back for an actual appointment. The wait time have been outrageous when I have called to follow up on my mystery appointment. When I do get someone on the phone, they lie and say that my name is not in the system when my doctor insists that he has referred me. I am so frustrated at this point! If the admins are this disorganized what must the doctors be like. At this point I am going to ask my doctor to refer me to another place.

Expérience positive: Great medical staff. Reception is another story. Took a half day off work for an appointment, drove through rush hour traffic to get there, only to be told they messed up and the doctor was at another clinic downtown that day. Based on reviews it looks like I’m not the only person with concerns about their front desk operations. Would be nice to think this will be addressed but based on the cut and paste responses I just read I’m not hopeful.
