Expérience fantastique: I had Thomas for my physiotherapist for the first time. He was great. He answered all my questions. I have mobility issues and I had given up on getting any better but he reassured me that all is not lost. This has motivated me to move away from my sedentary lifestyle towards being more active. He also did some manipulations on me and gave me some exercises to do. He is efficient and caring. You can go anywhere to get the physical manipulation by a physiotherapist. It is rare to find someone who makes you feel supported, encouraged and empowered by education on your health issues plus having good technique for the physio part. To Thomas’s bosses, please give the man a raise. He is that good. I would highly, highly recommend Thomas to become your physiotherapist.

Expérience fantastique: I went to see Ben because of my Plantar Fasciitis. I am very pleased with my treatment and with his expertise. I also see Tiarra for massages and she is great! The admin staff are awesome helping with billing and insurance. I recommend this clinic highly.

Expérience fantastique: Charles Dirks is a genius. I've referred family and friends, and was originally myself referred by friends about 6 years ago. Would not go elsewhere. However, this afternoon my wife was treated to something rather odd at the front desk. A team of three reception/admin individuals played "pass the buck" when my wife showed up for an appointment that had apparently been cancelled due to Charles having to take a health day (he has recurring bouts from a serious health concern that prevents him from getting in to work once in a while). I've had appts cancelled via a short phone call in the early AM. However, today neither my voice mail nor my wife's had any record of Ness Physio's reception providing news of the cancellation due to Dirks's health. Even stranger, it was my wife who was made to feel she was at fault for even showing up. No apologies were offered, no power neutral methods were employed; net result: my wife was allowed to dangle while these three played "well it's not my fault". Not sure if customer service training is in the backgrounds of those offering reception to patients at Ness, but in my business, having served the public and the trades for four decades this would be considered an epic fail. ADDENDUM: After a little reflection I thought it would be good to at least add some positive steps one could take to foolproof the naturally trouble prone areas in appointment-based businesses: a) Redundancy: Ensure 2 methods of contact with each client/customer. Email/text, or phone/alt phone, etc b) At the end of each verbal (ie. phone, or in person) appointment scheduling exchange, ensure employee finishes the conversation with "You will very shortly be receiving a confirmation of the appointment via your two methods of contact. Get back to us promptly if you do not receive these." These would be repeated 3 or 4 days in advance, plus the usual 24 hours (this last one is the only one we get from Ness). c) Equip each method of contact to be a medium through which the customer/client can reply and/or link to somewhere a question can be posed: The SMS system used by Ness is ONE-way, yet a 'no-reply' warning is not all that clearly spelled out in their outbound texts. d) Teach reception to deal with a situation in which all of the above has failed, yet while the customer/client knows an appointment was made, the employee who made it is not in the office at the time and no one present can vouch for the mistake. Here's how: Use mirroring; express understanding at how inconvenient this must feel; assure the individual that the efforts will not stop until the cause for the misunderstanding or mistake has been identified and corrected. My original training in item (d) above was at Wpg's Eatons downtown, in the late 70s. Nothing in that paragraph has changed much in all this time. If you've read this far, thanks for indulging me. And to Charles Dirks, you're still the best physio therapist I've had and I've had a few. All the best!

Expérience fantastique: We have visited Ness Physiotherapy for my mother after her knee replacement surgery. This is the second time she had physio there. First experience was not very good but now it was great! Ben is exceptional: caring, knowledgeable, helpful , expert in physio and accounting and with awesome bedside manners. He really made a difference in her recovery and we are grateful for that.

I've hopped around Winnipeg trying different therapists and haven't been able to find anyone who can give me what I need in a massage. Since seeing Chris I've felt the benefits immediately, and have felt looser and more limber which helps immensely in the sport of running. Thanks Chris !

Expérience fantastique: I hurt my back at work and I was lucky to be able to get into this place. I seen BEN. And hey saved me. I’ve never had such a remarkable experience with a physiotherapist before. I’m 100% now and not only that I’ve learned sooooo much. The amount of knowledge and genuinely careing way he handles his patients is amazing and he sets the bar high! The rest of the staff were very accommodating helpful super friendly. 10/10 go see Ben if you’re hurt.

Expérience fantastique: I saw Anisha for my lower back/SI joint problems. She was very thorough at diagnosing what was wrong and creating our plan to fix it. I am happy to be feeling better after my visits there. The clinic is nice and clean and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful!

He takes his time to assess what is going on, answers all your questions and explains everything. He makes you feel like your health in all aspects is super important. The facility itself is very clean and welcoming. The reception staff are super friendly as well. An overall great place.

Expérience fantastique: Closest evening health place that was open late, had amazing service following back injury from moving…slept like a baby and woke with no pain after several days of poor sleep and considerable discomfort.

Expérience négative: August 4, 2021 After suffering musculoskeletal injuries, I had a month of physiotherapy with Thomas McLaughlin. He kept making things worse for me, and I finally had to ask to see someone else. He loosened my hips to the point that I began limping. I had to go to another physiotherapist to correct what he did. When I tried to speak to him about it, he said “have a drink, you’ll like it better tomorrow”. If you’re suffering, don’t expect any empathy from him. He had no concern for the problem he created for me. After three years, I still have a problem with a hip that was perfectly fine before I saw Thomas. I was suffering from severe misalignments and nerve damage, and Thomas treated me like I had a mental health issue. During my injury law suit I learned that Thomas made many disparaging comments in my chart, and fabricated untruths in my chart that damaged my case. I feel he mistreated me at a time when I needed a good Physiotherapist. I tried to address these issues with Ness Physiotherapy and they closed ranks. I tried to address it with the College of Physiotherapy and they would not address it. Do you want to risk a Physiotherapist who is not accountable to anyone for his actions. November 4, 2022 Before posting the above review, I made every effort to resolve my complaint with Ness Physio. I spoke to the owners, I wrote detailed letters outlining the issues. I asked if the three of us could meet to discuss it, I was just told “No”. They invalidated me at every turn. They showed no concern for me, but maintained a defense of denial on Thomas’s behalf. Ness Physio has informed me that I’m banned from seeking any services at the clinic. I can no longer see my Massage Therapist whom I was very happy with, and massage is one of the few things I can do for back pain. He stated that they contacted Google in an attempt to remove my review from public viewing. The phone call focused on blame towards me for my review, and no blame on their part. I again tried to voice my complaints and again I was invalidated. He said it was Thomas’s word against mine. My lawyer was quite angry when he read the malicious comments Thomas made in my chart, but Ness only sees blank pages, it defies logic. This review would not have been posted if Ness Physio had been accountable and apologetic as a responsible and compassionate Physiotherapist clinic should be. Denial is their solution to a customer complaint. Retaliation is their solution to an unfavourable, but honest review.

Expérience fantastique: I have been seeing Charles for years for various treatments that range from injuries from sports and working out to post surgery rehab, as well as stiff and sore muscles due to day-to-day living. He always takes excellent care, explains the mechanics and reasons for everything, and provides stretches and exercises to maintain and improve my well-being. The whole staff is kind, friendly, and caring!

From a "frozen" shoulder, back and neck pain to correcting my leg length they have enabled me to maintain my mobility while being employed in a very physically demanding job. Expérience négative: I actually enjoyed the first couple of sessions here and would have given 5 stars.The physical therapist was excellent and helped with the injury . However I noticed from the 3 trip onwards I seemed to be on the conveyor belt, in the door and out pretty quick. They had my insurance details so I was just another piece of meat to make them money. The front counter staff were in a mood half the time and very unappealing to approach. I stopped going and after a couple of weeks they started texting my personal phone (obviously profits were down that week) confirming my thoughts. Sorry, words fail me at this establishment.

Expérience fantastique: About a month ago Sean Springer, one of the physiotherapists, fitted me for some custom orthotics because my knees hurt too much to run. At first I didn’t see a ton of improvement but Sean told me to trust the process and to build up my run lengths slowly. This morning I just ran my 5k personal best and my knees feel great! Check this clinic out!

They take the time to thoroughly treat you hands on, and educate you on how to help yourself get better through exercise. Staff were also great and organized. I Highly recommend this clinic!
