Fantastic experience: Super competent staff

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy training at the Epic Center. I wish they would extend the opening hours on the weekends to at least 4:00 PM, but the benefits outweigh this still major drawback. The facilities are varied and well-maintained. We would like a machine to dry our swimsuit after swimming and a few more weight machines at the sports center, but looking at it in the end, what they have is already very good. The people are kind and you can always ask for good advice.

Fantastic experience: Nice place to exercise but parking can be tricky to find when you go there for the first time... personally, too many people; I am a solitary person for my workouts.

Fantastic experience: A place to exercise while being very well supervised by professional kinesiologists and a whole medical staff (doctors, nurses, nutritionists,...) depending on the subscription. An impressive choice of group classes in the gym or in the pool (possibility of lap swimming), weight training room... with a very wide range of schedules, 7 days a week. Ideal for seniors thanks to medical follow-up if needed and perfect for younger people who want to train or stay in shape.

Fantastic experience: My mother fell down the stairs and was taken care of by nurse Lise Aubut. I want to thank her for being there for my mom for 4 hours while waiting for an ambulance. Luckily she was there. The paramedics didn't know what to do. It was Lise Aubut who took charge. A thousand thanks to this angel.

Fantastic experience: Client since September 2023, I love this center, it is complete, with classes for all tastes and a training room with a lot of equipment. I particularly enjoy being able to walk or run on the track overlooking the gym while watching people play volleyball, badminton, or pickleball. A very nice and motivating place. Kudos to all the teams.

Fantastic experience: Did a guided tour on February 15th. Wow, a beautiful location for the combined spirit and body. A pool, spa included. Registered for the next year with medical follow-up. Starting on the 27th (blood test), on the 29th (stress test) Then a meeting with a cardiologist. Later with the nutritionist. Parking adjacent to the building, that’s great. It's all about aging well, in any case I'm trying in addition to biking outside during the nice season. So excited to start. Photo after my start.

The person I spoke to took the time to answer each of my questions and wisely advised me regarding the use of equipment. Ultimately, they reassured me about my current efforts to maintain my fitness and provided the technical explanations I was looking for. A big thank you to Johanne! Negative experience: I was a member for 10 years at Centre Épic, and I always appreciated and received good services. However, since September 2023, it has been very difficult to enroll in daytime classes because they are always full. Additionally, the pool closed for several weeks for repairs in the spring, and recently, at the beginning of December, it closed again for another issue... I also noticed that the course intensities have often been lowered for Posture flexibility, Cardio toning, and Aqua fitness. In short, I tried to discuss my issue about enrolling with the Deputy Director, and he had no other advice to give me than to unsubscribe if I was not satisfied... a rather cavalier way to treat subscribers. In short, that's what I did, much to my regret. But I was unable to enroll in classes that interested me during the day, and since I had a subscription that cost me much more than 700.00/year, I decided to leave and go elsewhere, to the Olympic Park Sports Centre, which has fewer daytime classes but a nice variety, and at least I don't have to enroll every week for a class; I just show up, and that's it. It was like that at Centre Épic before the pandemic.

Positive experience: Extraordinary course selection, very varied materials, excellent medical sector, several related services offered but the management is not client-oriented at all. The center would lose a lot of clientele if there were a worthy competitor.

Fantastic experience: Update December 2024! I am staying on track! I now train between 5 and 6 times a week. My weight is stable. Thanks to the entire team of professionals at the center. Update July 2024. I have lost 50lbs! I went from a size 41 pant to...32! The center has literally changed my life!! And, despite what I thought, it is open to EVERYONE!! Diet and training review with follow-up. I have never felt so proud and no, I don't find it difficult. Since the end of March 2023 to today (end of August 2023), I have lost more than 30 lbs, my waist has decreased by nearly 6 inches, and I have increased my muscle mass; in short, my health has gotten back on track. Thanks to the team of cardiologists, nurses, kinesiologists, and nutritionists for their remarkable work and follow-up!!!

Fantastic experience: What a complete center. Great course offerings and the staff is very friendly. Members are supervised at all times and our health is taken seriously. For such a service offering and such a team, the price is more than reasonable. I recommend it to everyone.

Negative experience: Centre already used a few years ago. I would certainly go back, but they still insist on the mandatory mask policy. It's a shame. The most vulnerable should protect themselves, but let those in good health live and exercise without masks, please.
