Dr. Rodwin, who is both precise and patient, took the time to thoroughly assess my back and hips, discovering an unusual curve in my spine that was contributing to my pain. With each adjustment, I've felt the gradual shift toward more symmetry in my body, and the aches and pains that once plagued me are significantly reduced. Diana, the massage therapist, has truly magical hands! Her soothing touch and deep knowledge of the body make each massage not just relaxing but truly healing. And then there’s Andrew, the Active Release Therapy professional. He’s incredibly thorough, working out the tension in my muscles with great care and precision—it's clear he knows exactly what he's doing. I also can’t say enough about the front desk staff. And as a little bonus, I absolutely love the tea and seasonal apple cider they offer—it’s the perfect touch to make you feel cozy after a session. They also make treatment fun, like the draws for free orthotics, which just shows how much they care about their patients' overall experience. I feel so lucky to have found a place that is not only professional and effective but also warm and friendly. Every time I leave an appointment, my body feels lighter, and my spirit feels lifted. Negative experience: Left with bruising and nothing adjusted. Also dogs in the adjustment room is not is very unprofessional.
Fantastic experience: I wish I knew that you can live without pain, sooner. Since I started treatment with Dr Barbara, I haven’t had a migraine and this is life changing for me. I highly recommend this place, my husband is also going now and he feels the same way. My family can’t be more grateful for the service and support that we receive every time we visit the clinic. Fantastic experience: Back to Health is the best chiropractic clinic in Ottawa and Dr. Rodwin is, by far, the best chiropractor in Ottawa. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came into the clinic with painful planter fasciitis and Dr. Rodwin successfully treated my condition. My treatment included a comprehensive foot scan and orthotics. I have had orthotics before but these ones are the best orthotics that I have ever had. Dr. Rodwin’s treatment has also improved my posture, hip tightness and neck mobility. I was nervous about having my neck treated but Dr. Rodwin was very patient and kind with me. She talked me through the process and put me completely at ease. The front desk staff are amazing. Kim is so very kind and caring and always goes the extra mile. Dr. Rodwin also brings in her beautiful dogs, Abbie and Bailey, which adds to the already welcoming vibe. I can’t say enough about this place. My health and mobility have improved dramatically. This is the best chiropractor office in Ottawa.

Fantastic experience: I've had many back issues over the years and I would go for chiropractic treatments with any chiropractor available nearby, once the pain had been relieved I would stop seeing a chiropractor until the next back pain would show up. My latest sciatica problem, I contacted Dr. Barbara Rodwin on an emergency basis and this time I decided to not stop seeing the the best chiropractor in ottawa once the pain resolved. I continued with maintance treatment to continue my forward progress and prevent any future back issues. MY JOURNEY: I first met Dr. Barbara Rodwin on about April 29, 2023. I contacted Dr.Barbara Rodwin's office on saturday after I had sciatica and left hip problems. Dr. Barbara Rodwin arranged a sunday emergency appointment. I continued to book two weekly appointments for the next six weeks. The first sunday appointment, I was walking bent over and leaning to one side. I felt better after mt treatment; i was given alot of at home things to do, After six weeks I was back to work with caution. I kept appointments with Dr. Barbara Rodwin for twice a week, then once a week, then twice every month and now once a month. Dr. Barbara Rodwin gave me stretching exercises to do every morning and that has had a huge impact on staying healthy. I invested in a pair of chiropractic soles, CUSTOM ORTHOTICS, approximately August of 2023 recommended by Dr. Barbara Rodwin. Last month my wife said to me, hey you're not wearing out the heels of your shoes anymore. The chiropractic soles for my shoes have me standing and walking upright better than I ever have in decades. I still see Dr. Barbara Rodwin once a month to this day and highly recommend her for any aches and pains that just seemed to never go away.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Rodwin and the team at Back to Health Wellness Centre have helped me stay fit and do the activities I love like running for more than 20 years. Dr. Rodwin can quickly recognise what minor aches and pains need to be dealt with before they become worse. She has helped me manage chronic issues like arthritis in my feet with orthotics and advice on running form. She has also been the first person I turned to for help to manage some acute injuries over the years like a bad sprained ankle and a fall in a road race. She got me back to activity quickly and safely. Having massage therapists within the Back to Health Wellness Centre makes treatment seamless. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Rodwin and the team for people looking for highly skilled and highly dedicated health professionals who are genuinely interested in you and your health goals.
Fantastic experience: I visited the Back to Health Wellness Centre due to neck, shoulder, back, knee, and hip pain, along with body stiffness and bad body posture, after being referred to Dr. Barbara Rodwin by a friend. Just four weeks later, I can say that she is an exceptional chiropractor. Her professionalism and problem-solving skills are outstanding, as she works diligently to identify the root cause of any issue and tailor a solution to alleviate the pain. In my case, Dr. Rodwin developed a personalized treatment plan for me, including addition of orthotics for my flat foot. Thanks to her expertise, my body stiffness and pain have improved significantly. She not only worked on my entire body, but she also referred me to Andrew Bouchier for Active Release Techniques, which was a great addition to my treatment. Fantastic experience: I phoned in need of emergency treatment since I had put my back out as well as 3 ribs. I was graciously granted an appointment that same morning. The treatment has resolved the problem almost immediately (after some icing).
Fantastic experience: I initially sought physiotherapy at another clinic, where I was treated with ultrasound, TENS, and ice, none of which helped. After weeks of worsening pain following some manipulation and exercises, I was feeling disheartened. Then, I had my first appointment with Hiral, and it was a completely different experience. She took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and understand my history. During that same session, she performed a deep massage using her elbow, and I experienced immediate relief. After over a month of continuous pain and worry that I would take months or even longer to heal, Hiral gave me hope. I can't recommend her enough for anyone dealing with chronic pain or complex issues. She truly listens and provides effective, personalized treatment.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Rodwin for orthodics a few weeks ago and received them today. I was impressed with the level of service! I've been to a few other orthodics clinics in the past and have to say this one is by far the best feet assessment I've received. As well as getting custom orthodics, I am receiving chiropractic treatments. Although I'm just starting the treatments, I'm feeling that it will help me tremendously with pain management. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Back To Health Wellness since 2012 since a bad case of Plantar Fasciitis hit me hard. I was introduced to custom orthotics and will never go without them. Every year I see Dr Rodwin and every year she sets me up with either insoles or custom sandals. I love them and I love the service Dr Rodwin provides. Fantastic experience: 4 years ago I called Back to health because of sciatic and back pain, this turned out to be one of the best decision I have ever made. Dr Rodwin did a thorough exam and came up with a plan which started my road to recovery. She has a non judgmental and clear approach. I felt heard, understood and validated. She provided me with all the tools that I needed to get better eg. orthotics, back brace, proper pillow. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I now embrace the fact that I’m able to do physical activities which led me to my healthy habits and weight loss journey. Not all heroes wear capes!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rodwin has truly been a life saver, I started seeing her late last year when my upper back pain became too much to handle. In the short time since, she’s been able to get rid of that pain entirely, it only gets better with each visit. I can’t say enough about the kindness of all the staff and the clinic as a whole. Fantastic experience: Andrew is a wizard. I came in, barely moving my neck and my shoulder in agonizing pain and I left the clinic ready to go back to work. I’m so happy I found him! He is extremely knowledgeable, attentive and take the time to assess and re assess multiple time during the session to ensure we’re heading in the right direction following his techniques. He doesn’t dig in blindly to “massage”. I would 1000% recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Arrived ~4 months ago with limited shoulder range of motion, hip challenges, knee stiffness, neck and shoulder discomfort that was impacting my quality of life. In this short time, my range of motion has dramtically improved, the stiffness and limited mobility has improved and my neck pain and mobility is almost back to normal. Barbara looked holistically at my issues and added orthotics, physio and multiple visits per week to her treatment plan. The treatment focused on my overall health and well-being while bringing my immediate challenges along. Onward we go to a better life!

Fantastic experience: I met with Dr. Rodwin for the first time at her home office after being in pain and agony for nearly a week as a result of a horrible massage that left me with sharp shooting pains from my shoulder radiating up to my scalp. I had never been to a chiropractor before and I was super nervous but the pain had gotten to the point where I started to question if it might have been something much more serious or have long lasting damage. The pain became so bad I could not eat, sleep, or work and, so a friend suggested to book an emergency chiro appointment; A quick Google search later, I found an emergency appointment with Dr Rodwin for that same day. After a quick consultation, Dr Rodwin informed me that I would most likely need multiple appointments and probably not see results right away since my pain was as bad as it was. She performed a realignment and sent me on my way. I didn’t feel much difference, but I took her advice regarding icing on and off, and the next morning when I woke up I felt like I had imagined all the pain. I was in shock. Recently, I injured my back at work as a nurse, and again, I booked a quick appointment with Dr Rodwin who has been helping me realign and address this issue. I’m so thankful for her professionalism, expertise, and also for how confident/skilled/experienced she is in her craft as it definitely made it easier for me to put my trust in her hands. Fantastic experience: I had an injury to my knee, partial tears on two tendons, and my GP was talking about knee replacement. But after treatments with Barbara, I was walking virtually pain-free within a month. It’s been two months now and I have completely forgotten that I have a “bad” knee. Fantastic experience: Dr. Barbara Rodwin has made standing (for a flat footed person), very comfortable. I grew up with flat feet and never saw the merit in orthotics until now. I can now do long hikes and I'm more patient now that I can stand, pain-free. I never go anywhere without my orthotics. Will be back yearly for a pair of orthotics.

Fantastic experience: I started wearing orthotics 12 years ago and ever since, I have been going to the Back to Health Wellness Centre. It's always a great experience as Dr. Rodwin walks me through every step and explains everything in very simple and easy to understand terms. She explains what the scans mean and what to look for which makes it all the more enjoyable. The whole process is simplified by the great staff that work there and I have never had any issues with them. The orthotics have gotten rid of any pain or discomfort I would've had and are very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend going.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Hiral for physio on my TMJ. As my neck and shoulders started to loosen - I could feel the rest of my body didn't feel right and my orthotics were old. Dr Rodwin conducted the scans on my feet (you also get to see how you stand and hold your body which Dr Rodwin explains and shows you your alignment). The orthotics were made which were the perfect fit and the best I have ever had. I knew I was out of alignment but was nervous to get a chiro adjustment as I was in a lot of pain and it hadn't worked in the past. Wow was I glad I tried again - Dr Rodwin understands her patients needs and levels. After a few once a week adjustments combined with the TMJ physio - I really did hear angels sing. My body had not felt that good and loose in years - I noticed how easy it was to get up off the bed. I feel I control my body and posture now and not adjusting it to the wrong posture to hold my jaw in place. The whole Back to Health Wellness team is amazing, happy, friendly and always so helpful. The self booking appointment is the best thing since sliced bread - we all have busy lives and to be able to open the app and change my appointment outside (and within) office hours is a game changer!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Rodwin is the best!! She was able to get me in on a holiday, for an emergency assessment at her home. I was extremely thankful to get an appointment on short notice and on a holiday!! Fantastic experience: Hiral and Dr Rodwin make an amazing team. A friend originally refered me to Dr Rodwin when my back pain and sciatica issues flared up. Those got much better within only a few sessions. When my elbow tendonitis got aggravated Dr Rodwin made it 80% better in a single session. At Dr Rodwin's suggestion I started booking appointments with Hiral as well when my usual physio moved away. I am impressed at how they both treat holistically, from head to toes, instead of just treating the issue. Not only have my back, elbow and sciatica gotten much less painful, they also work on fixing issues I have been ignoring such as my stiff neck and lack of range of motion in many movements. I'm now able to be much more active than I've been in years with little to no pain! The office staff is very friendly and cheerful, and the staff has several adorable therapy dogs and cats that greet us just as cheerfully. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a physio or a chiro!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Rodwin for years and she has helped me with various knee, back and ankle injuries. I recently injured my neck and could not move my neck at all. After one visit with Dr Rodwin my neck injury started improving. Fantastic experience: I was treated today by Dr Rodwin for neck issues caused by my pillow. My pillow is a new CPAP pillow. After a conversation with Dr Rodwin, it was suggested I change the style of my CPAP pillow. The current style I’ve used for over 15 years. Pressure points were applied and my neck was adjusted. I walked out feeling like a million bucks. I no longer have a headache or sore neck. I will follow-up with a maintenance checkup.

Fantastic experience: We just love to go to Back to Health! Dr. Rodwin is just amazing. My 11 and 13 years old kids also receive treatments since they are 3 and 5 years old. Fantastic experience: Dr. Barbara Rodwin, Hiral and Jessica are the best team in Ottawa. They work not only just my neck and back but my injured knee and my feet. They use active release techniques to loosen my muscles up. They do a detailed exam beforehand to determine my body alignement, my current issues and work on a treatment plan catered to me. The treatment plan is always centred to your day-to-day life. Ex: I’m a nurse and they always give me good advice on proper lifting. They also do custom orthotics. They really are a great team. Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience about Back To Health Wellness Center and my wonderful doctor Dr. Barbara Rodwin. I’m the summer of 2021 I severely hurt my lower back lifting a very heavy object in my back yard. I had slipped a disc in my lower back and was completely unable to walk or even get back inside my house without the help of my wife. I had never been in so much pain and my wife was trying desperately to get a hold of a chiropractor. Doctor Rodwin immediately texted back and offered over the phone help. She promptly scheduled an appointment for me. I had to get driven to and from appointments from my wife as I could barely stand up. After a few sessions I started to feel better and my back began to realign itself after doctor Rodwin had made adjustments. After about 6-8 weeks I was good as new and completely recovered. I keep seeing doctor Rodwin for several months to make sure I was healing correctly. More recently this winter of 2022/23 I just my back again shovelling heavy snow and I was getting a dull pain in my leg that was caused by my lower back. I spoke with Doctor Rodwin and she immediately booked me in for an appointment and after a single session the pain was gone. I followed up with a few more appointments until Doctor Rodwin was satisfied with my progress. Thank you so much Dr. Rodwin for your amazing service and the wonderful care you have given me.

Fantastic experience: As a post 75 senior, I started seeing Dr. Barbara Rodwin at the Back to Health Wellness Centre about 1 1/2 years ago to treat the re-emergence of an old knee injury which had become very painful and had reduced my mobility to walking slowly with a cane. Dr. Rodwin's chiropractic and deep release techniques have changed my life! Improvement has been gradual but consistent and steady, which allows for better healing. I now see Dr. Rodwin twice a month and with daily exercises at home, and regular walking, I am now pain-free and have re-gained virtually full-mobility. I can easily walk up and down stairs, get up from the floor, walk several kilometres and haven't used my cane in months! Fantastic experience: Dr. Barbara Rodwin is the best chiropractor in Ottawa! Initially came in for my ribs being knocked out of place. After only 8 sessions I was back to normal. Fitted me for aurthotics to help combat my flat feet and keep all my pains at bay. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Back to Health Wellness and seeing Dr. Rodwin since 2007. I first went after I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees and needed new orthotics. Over the years, Dr. Rodwin has helped alleviate issues with my knees, back recover from bunion surgery as well as help me with joint pain during my pregnancy. My son also sees Dr. Rodwin for orthotics and adjustments. He has not experienced any growing pains. My experiences at Back to Health has always been positive. They help me stay healthy and pain free!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Rodwin for chiropractic treatments for my neck and my hips. I am very satisfied with the progress we have done so far. She started with a full boby evaluation. She's guided me with foot orthotics that have improved my posture and relieved of some pain in my hips and knees, she's using active release therapy on my legs and she has found me the right pillow which gives me less neck pain and better sleep. The centre and all its staff are very professional. The receptionists are welcoming and very efficient. Thank you for taking good care of me!!!

Fantastic experience: The best Chiropractor and staff in the city! They took me on a Friday night because I was unable to move my head without severe pain. I’ve been coming here ever since! Dr. Rodwin is incredibly attentive and has helped me immensely. She has treated and helped my body pains from my head to my toes. The staff always make me feel safe, taken care of and listened to here. I throughly look forward to my chats with the staff at every appointment. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful.
