Negative experience: Nice gym, good service but the air conditioning doesn't work. It's very hot. January 2025: The training area is very dirty. People walk on the warm-up mats with their shoes and they are never cleaned.

Positive experience: It's a tidy gym. I found that where other places would be crowded at a certain time, this one will be less crowded. However, I'm not very satisfied with the machines; they lack adjustability which can lead to improper form if you don't meet the "target human" of the machine. Also, the sauna is a sought amenity, yet the men's sauna is out of order.

Positive experience: The gym is clean and the customer service is excellent. The gym is, in my opinion, designed for fitness or getting in shape. There are a good number of machines and dumbbells. But for those training for muscle gain or bodybuilding competitions, this is not your gym. The price of the subscription is within the market prices of the North Shore $$$.

Fantastic experience: Super gym, you immediately feel comfortable, not a chest-arm gym. Lots of weight and cardio machines. Even when the gym is full, there is plenty of space to train. The staff is super nice, and the trainers—especially Marilou!—are very skilled and push us out of our comfort zone.

Negative experience: Paying for availability on the machines; the perfect philosophy for this gym. Cardio equipment is dysfunctional, lack of weights, no maintenance on the equipment. In short, if you want to pay for quality equipment, go elsewhere. Btw, the men's bathroom smells like urine every visit. Otherwise, there's never too much traffic.

Positive experience: I have been a member at this place for over 20 years and I love and recommend it for the politeness and attentiveness of the staff. The only downside is that over the years, the equipment is aging and I regret the lack of maintenance and the wear on the dumbbells (pieces coming off) and the coverings of the machines that are torn. I don't see the Kinequip techs often unlike before. Many floor tiles are cracked, coming off, and even 'bumped' in some areas. Lastly, the locker rooms should be visited more frequently to ensure that there is nothing missing (paper towels, toilet paper). We shouldn't have to tell them. Nautilus, please do not let your equipment and premises fall into disrepair. It feels like a rundown gym!

Negative experience: It is Monday, January 2... all the Nautilus centers are open... here there are about 40 people without parking and the center is closed.

Fantastic experience: Perfect place to train whether it's conventional, crossfit, or powerlifting. There is plenty of cardio, a space for crossfit, lots and lots of machines... and plenty of room. I have nothing to say!

Negative experience: Tiny and horrendously expensive, this center is right across from another much larger and much more affordable one. However, since the subscription gives you access to all the centers in the franchise and especially considering that the app is quite interesting, you should try it to form your own opinion.

The only thing that bothers me a lot and that I find disgusting are the chewing gums that people leave stuck to the aerobic machines. Negative experience: I was disappointed because I had a small problem with a client who was not well-mannered, and when I went to the counter to file a complaint, the receptionist told me, 'this gentleman has been a customer for 10 years,' so I understood that she would not do anything about it... UNFORTUNATELY, if you really want a response to anything, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO SEEK the manager of this branch because at least the 4 people at the counter that I spoke to did NOTHING!!!!

Positive experience: If you sign up for the gym, you have 37 days to decide whether to leave or to subscribe for 1 year. Positive comments: I find the staff kind, welcoming, and smiling. The lighting in the gym is well-lit and has large parking spaces. The people who work there all have long-term studies, so they have the necessary experience to perform. I find the gym quiet and not noisy. The bathrooms are adequate. The lockers are good. You have your personal space because there aren't many people. The group classes seem interesting. The fact that they give you $1 every time you go is motivating. Negative comments: However, I find it a bit expensive compared to Éconofitness. I found that some machines are old but at least functional. Small gym space. What I disapprove of is that we have a free appointment with the nutritionist and a trainer, if someone has a last-minute priority (job, doctor, etc.), they don't take it into consideration, and you lose your appointment. I find this unfair; I give this comment because it can happen to other people. Relevant comment: I believe that if they lower the price, it could attract more clients.

Positive experience: The advantage of this gym is the clientele, which is calm and not too numerous. You don't have any jerks shouting while lifting weights like at the Atlantis across the street. There’s an old but functional sauna. The downside is that the training equipment is old and outdated; they take a long time to update it.

Fantastic experience: I have to come to Laval for business.. and Nautilus Plus Laval was just a few minutes from the office. Once again, I have a Nautilus Plus at my disposal, which is very convenient for me. Upon arrival, I was surprised by the size of the parking lot, and I can guarantee that they must never run out of parking space. The interior is nice, I like the way everything is arranged. They have a lot of machines, everything I need.. the staff was smiling and it is really well lit. The large windows at the front... great.
Fantastic experience: Smiliest and friendliest staff in the network. The gym is big and there is a lot of machines and benches. Showers need a overhaul quick. But the rest makes up for it.

Fantastic experience: Perfect gym to workout everywhere
Negative experience: NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! I have been a member of Nautilus Plus in Laval on Boulevard des Laurentides for about 6 years, and a serious error has been made on my account since 2012!! It all started in 2012 when I received a letter from a collection company stating that I owed Nautilus an amount of $150??? After contacting them several times regarding the situation, they assured me that it was a mistake and that they would fix the problem. Trusting them, I never checked my credit as I thought it was truly resolved. To my great surprise in August 2017, when I was purchasing my vehicle, the financial director informed me that there was a mark on my credit record: NAUTILUS PLUS LAVAL with an UNPAID mention of $150 still present since 2012!!!! I called the gym directly to inform them of the situation again, and they told me they would fix the problem. Trusting them once more, I did not double-check. And to my great surprise before the holidays, when I wanted to analyze my credit, NAUTILUS PLUS was still there!!! So I contacted the collection company, who informed me that nothing had been done since 2012 and that someone from the headquarters needed to call to cancel the collection request. When I communicated with customer service, I was told that yes, a mistake had been made, and they would once again resolve the situation!! I contacted Equifax, who told me it would take between 6 to 12 months for this mention to disappear from my credit record and that I should absolutely not make any credit requests or large transactions before the mention was removed!!!! When I reached out to customer service again and expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation, outlining the serious consequences of this mention on my credit record and strongly requesting compensation because I have insisted for so long that they resolve the issue and they have not done so, I was responded to with arrogance and sarcasm that they would not compensate me (EVEN THOUGH IT CLEARLY AFFECTED MY CREDIT FROM 2012 TO 2018) and that I could do whatever procedures I wanted but nothing would be done. They did not take my situation seriously at all! I would have never thought to be treated this way despite having been a loyal customer....a small piece of advice: never sign up there if you don't want to go through the same thing as I did, with nothing done for so many years, no apologies, no compensation, and being spoken to with arrogance!!!! STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED, there are other gyms in the area that will treat you with much more respect and are concerned about their clients!!!!
