Positive experience: I have used StoonRMT for acupuncture and a few types of massage. Care from the professionals has always been excellent. As others have mentioned, the lack of a receptionist during some times of day can make different aspects of booking/managing appointments more challenging. In addition, there are often few appointments to choose from - which can be inconvenient, even though I think it speaks more to the popularity of practitioners!

Fantastic experience: Had my first ever massage with Qai. Was quite nervous. But Was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. Feel much better after the massage. Already booked next appointment with Qai.

Negative experience: I originally thought I had booked in for a TMJ massage with a woman, however I arrived there was a man there and said he didn’t do that type of massage (which I was fine with cause not sure how comfortable I would be tbh). So I said that was fine and I would just get a regular massage instead .. Soon into the massage I could hear the man sniffing constantly. He wasn’t wearing a mask and he would constantly stop to wipe his nose. I didn’t see with what.. whether it was his sleeve or his hand but either way… it was extremely uncomfortable … I froze and just tried to suffer through it but as soon as I got into the car I almost melted down telling my husband . Went home and scrubbed my body with soap and a scalding hot shower haha. I tried so hard to down play it in my mind but nope… it happened and it was gross and definitely not relaxing at all .. thankfully my benefits covered it

Positive experience: I have to say the massage therapist, Cat, was thorough and good. But the company itself is frustrating as they have no receptionist that I know of and no way to relay information is needed. Everything is an automated reply via email or text. It makes it hard to communicate important information regarding billing or appointments themselves.

Negative experience: Had a prenatal massage booked with Amber. Spent the better part of the hour listening to her speak on how she believes children aged 1-2-3 need to be spanked, something about the holocaust being a myth and her dogs. Even laying there with my eyes closed and not responding she spoke of some pretty inappropriate things. I asked to work on my hips and lower back- which she never did. Good location, clean building, great rooms just not impressed with staff.

Negative experience: I have an appointment with Rosanna today, 03 July 2023 at 5pm. I have to clock out early from my job so that I can be there early and not missed my appointment. I was at the front door 15mins early on my schedule but no one is on the front desk. I called the number but no one was picking up for 20 mins. I booked a massage to relax but I got anxiety and stress instead. A very bad experience for a first timer on what was supposed to be a highly recommended massage therapy.

Fantastic experience: I have an amazing massage with Lushiya . She was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. Her technique was perfect, and she really focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I honestly say she's the best massage therapist I've ever had. She has a great personality and really takes the time to listen to my concerns and address them during the session. Her hands are magic - she's able to work out knots and tension that I didn't even know had. I leave feeling like a new person today! I highly recommend her and definitely come back to her again.

Fantastic experience: There’s a few I’ve been to here that are really good! Recently I’ve seen Lucia, new from Calgary, she is one of the few massage therapists that actually do deep tissue when you ask! She’s excellent!! And it works. You can actually feel that “burn”we all crave when requesting deep tissue! She also knows where you’re needing extra work without even telling her! She is experienced for sure. I’ve also seen Michelle and she is really awesome too. If you want someone very thorough and detailed, she gets her thumbs into every muscle and knows just the right pressure to use. I’ve been to a lot of massage therapists in the past at other places, for example, and even when you tell them to apply more pressure they just don’t for whatever reason , whereas this is not an issue with Michelle as she’s very attentive to what your muscles need…..and if you like to hear those little popping noises that your muscles make when they’re being ”un-knotted”, this one is for you!! There’s more good therapists here but these two are my fave. Lucia if you want to “feel the burn” (using elbows and whole hand pressure - she also does some stretching too which feels really good!) or Michelle who “pops” those muscles (which is just the sound of little air pockets) to release tension and tightness and applies a really nice steady pressure (just tell her if you need more/less pressure…she DOES listen!) Both these ladies can obviously do a relaxing massage too, but they’re just capable of doing deep tissue as well. Again half the massages I’ve gotten in my lifetime were not deep tissue when I asked for it. So it’s obviously a skill that not all of them can or like to do. Lucia and Michelle are not just trained and experienced but they’re attentive to every muscle and will leave you feeling like you’ve accomplished something:)

Negative experience: Last minute cancellation from the provider with no alternative options or compensation provided. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Will not be going back again.

Negative experience: Massage rooms are right off of the waiting room/ entrance. The room I was in was also right next to a bathroom so I could hear everything that was happening in that bathroom… not very relaxing at all!! Way too loud. Paper thin walls. The waiting room is super dirty too. I will not be returning or recommending this place.

I've been looking at their website for so long and so impressed of all the services they offer! I honestly had high expectations and they were definitely met! The RMT I had was Amber Frey and she was AMAZING! I explained to her my chronic lower back pain and she was able to relieve it. I walked in there with a back pain that I always have and walked out with no pain at all. I have never had a massage that really took away my back pain. Even though I always mention to them to focus on my lower back. The stretches that she performed on me were incredible. She even taught me how to do it at home. Thanks so much, Amber and StoonRMT! I will be back soon

Fantastic experience: I've had TMJ issues for 10 years and I've went to physio, Chiro, you name it. Finally I was told to try a TMJ massage. Today was my first time having this done and it was amazing. I had Shane, he made me feel comfortable and he knew what he was doing. The massage itself was absolutely brutal, every spot being incredibly tender but it was a good kind of pain. Today is the first time in years I have been able to open my mouth without it being extremely stiff and tight. What a difference this has made for me. I am very impressed. 5 stars is well deserved.

Negative experience: I'm a brand new mom with a 3 week old baby I booked an appointment as I had been going to this clinic on and off for 3 years now. My baby started to cluster feed and as hard as I tried I could not feed my baby long enough to get her full and get her settled to make my appointment. I called as soon as I realized that afternoon that things weren't going to go the way they needed to to make my appointment. I called an absolute tears breaking down as a new mother desperately needing this appointment. They told me on the phone they understood however they text me minutes later saying they were going to charge me the $50 late fee. Don't get me wrong I understand why late fees and cancellation fees are necessary. However I have never cancelled on them or no show on them before and the situation was so far out of my control. There is no compassion when I really need a compassion. I guess losing a client such as myself probably isn't a big deal for a company like that but I definitely won't be going back

Fantastic experience: We have visited few massage places in Saskatoon & we thought of trying StoonRMT, we did not know what to expect because of the location, to our surprised we were greeted with nice clean front desk area. Smells clean unlike other place that we visited. Jordan is really good, and I felt so relax perfect pressure & so calming and relaxing, my husband and were both happy and will definitely go back. Don't forget to ask for Jordan when making appointment. I don't recall the therapist for my hubby but he said he is super good too. We highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Working with Jenel you will receive some of the best service you will ever receive! Sounds steep, but it's the truth. She is very knowledgeable about the human body and more specifically about the changes females go through during pregnancy and afterbirth. She is a fantastic massage therapist and an equally great doula. I have personally received support from Jenel as well as professionally refer clients to her because of her outstanding care and support.

Negative experience: I was contacted a day before my appointment that the therapist no longer works there. Two and a half hour before my appointment, I was contacted again to change time for the appointment. Stoon RMT needs to figure out their scheduling.

Negative experience: I walked in and sat down because there was no receptionist and there was nobody there to greet me for about 10 minutes then a lady sat down at the computer looked at her phone and walked into the back. A client walked in and she happen to come out at that moment put her into a room and was taken care of. I had already been there for 20 minutes until a different worker came out and said has anyone been taking care of? the woman in the waiting area said yes and I let him know that I wasn’t. He asked my name and I wasn’t even in the system. Definitely thoroughly disappointed since the reviews were all 5 stars that’s a lie if you ask me! I did call in to make an appointment.

Deep tissues were definitely reached. If pressure is too much don't hesitate to tell her. When I left my 1 hour massage it felt as if I was high. I was so relaxed and pleased. Too notch massage. Hot towel on your back, Relaxing music, I felt like a king

Fantastic experience: Great place. I've had massages from Shane and Sarah there. Both are great! I book with Sarah for general massages and my leg when it gets real bad due to issues with my IT band. Shane I will book with when I need deep tissue or pressure as he has gorilla strength in his hands. My favourite thing is that I don't have insurance at the moment, so when I went there I found out they actually have subsidized pricing for those without it.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to RMT for a few years now on and off, and I have always loved the atmosphere. It is very calming, clean, and quiet. I also love that they are inclusive. I see Christine at RMT and she has helped me immensely with my chronic pain. She listens, provides great feedback, and is very knowledgeable. She tailors the treatment, and I leave the appointment feeling better every time. I highly recommend her, and Stoon RMT, to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I am in love with the acupuncture and cupping service I received here. Probably the best I’ve had in Saskatoon so far. The only problem is the doctor doesn’t work late evening or over the weekend so kinda hard to book. The massage is just so so, however, nothing special.

Fantastic experience: Great place for massage and acupuncture. Christine Carrie was excellent at understanding what I needed to resolve some chronic back, neck and shoulder pain. She is very knowledgeable and uses a variety of techniques such as rapid release, shiatsu (pressure points), massage rollers and strong hands to make sure you are getting the right treatment. She is committed to long term resolutions for your health and plans accordingly. An added bonus is her great choice in relaxing music. I would highly recommend her. I had never tried acupuncture but I was glad I did and thankful it was Dr. Zhong. He makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. He is very gentle and makes sure you are okay throughout your treatment. He targeted chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain, and helped with my ongoing headaches.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing I had a deep tissue massage from jenel as was experiencing back and legs problem and she was amazing. Went out of her way to accomodate me and was friendly and new exactly what she was doing. I have been going other places but they weren't that great and thinking I want to find a regular place and believe I have here. Thanks jenel .

Fantastic experience: I usually don’t write reviews but SoonRMt went above and beyond my expectations. I’d had booked a massage awhile back and they therapist wasn’t feeling too hot so she canceled on me. However the store owner Jenel fixed this issue and provided a complimentary massage. Hands down one of the best massage I’ve experienced. All in all no issues with direct billing although I was asked to pay in advance once before my treatment.
