Fantastic experience: Took my 15 month old for her first visit here. The dentist specializes in tongue ties at this location. My daughter has a very minor tongue and lip tie that was unnoticed by her doctor. Dentist explained everything in lots of detail. I will be bringing her back here routinely. Great experience and lots of entertainment for the little ones :)

Positive experience: The office and the staff are lovely. Everything is designed with kids in mind, and the atmosphere is friendly and light-hearted. The facilities are clean. Kids get a token at the end of the visit for a small toy dispenser. There are complimentary refreshments for parents. Everything is very comfortable. My only hesitation was surrounding some of the recommendations for treatment, but I will have to do more research to understand next steps.

Fantastic experience: My child has been to this location since 2021, for braces, removal of braces, and the required follow up appointments. Staff have always been super polite, friendly, and accommodating. Information is always given in a clear and understanding way.

Negative experience: My kids were choking really badly and throw up after surgery finished. When I asked reason they blaming us that kids drink water. Fact is we made sure no water bottle around him at home and in car. Reality is water went in during dental surgery due to improper suction. My son got sensitive teeth immediate after surgery. They asked me to book appointment which cost $185. Prior to surgery they don’t listen to parents saying we are responsible if anything goes wrong within one year so you have to do whatever mentioned in assessment report (even if you can’t afford it). This review is for Sanat Patel Surgery done at your clinic. Thank you god my son survived.

Negative experience: **Unacceptable Experience at Dental for Kids** I had an awful experience with Dental for Kids recently. My child, who is five years old and has a low pain tolerance, was supposed to have general anesthesia for a dental procedure. We made this very clear when booking the appointment. However, when we arrived, they decided to proceed with regular anesthesia instead. It felt like they didn't want to cancel the appointment and miss out on the opportunity to charge us, even though this meant my child was not properly cared for. As a result, the procedure was botched, and we had to redo the work, costing us an additional $2,700 on top of the $2,000 we had already spent. This place prioritizes profit over patient care, and I strongly advise against trusting them with your child's dental needs. Stay away and read the fine print before signing anything with these people.

Communication is excellent, front desk staff is warm and welcoming, the dentist is kind and gentle. Our kids went from being anxious about dental appointments to looking forward to them. Client service has always been a 5/5 and the dentists have always been professional and kind to my family and I. The office is super clean, organized and appointments are very timely. Negative experience: Wouldn't recommend for a specialist opinion as that's the one and only visit we did, surely the last as well. Got referred by my dentist for an opinion on Gum Infection. Dr Ghazala Rand was kind and patient but completely wrong with diagnosis and suggested to remove a perfectly healthy tooth. Its ok if it's just a suggestion but they were quick to induce fear, jump to setting up extraction appointment, then talk about braces and spacers and whole plan for next two years. Stay away, it's a money grabbing institute with no thought and care for kids and parents.

With was for an ortho consultation and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining possible procedures. There is a small play area in the waiting room and they gave a token to each of my kids to get a prize at the end of the visit. Very happy with their services and look forward to future visits.

Negative experience: My daughter, just started her 2nd phase and yesterday had her braces on for the second time. Only couple hours later, one bracket detached and it is hanging from the wire. Last night a called right away and left a voice mail. This morning I had to call again because no one called me back. When I called, the receptionist told me that the Ortho team is only there Tuesdays and she only can book my daughter for Tuesday at 10am. Today, Wednesday, and the rest of this week, Thursday and Friday, there is not even one Ortho available there, and not even to help for small emergencies like this one. Oh boy, I just signed up yesterday for my son to have this kind of dental treatment. This kind of service really MUST improve. Also, I need to mention that previously had two issues with my daughter braces during her 1st phase when the wire came totally off from one side and was pinching my daughter cheek. I called to the emergency number, and of course, no one answered at all and during these two issues had to source for another dentist to cut the wire entirely since my daughter was bleeding.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience at the Brampton West location. Took my 5 yo son to have 2 cavities filled - the assistant was very unconfident and seemed to have no idea what she was doing. The fillings took much longer and was more stressful for him and I than it should have been. The dentist apologized and told me it was her first day working on children. In my opinion, anyone working with sedation and fillings should be competent and well trained before working on kids. As a children's dentistry practice - a level of experience and confidence is expected as the cost is higher, and the experience is stressful for children. I truly believed I was making a good choice coming to this clinic and I feel so terrible and guilty that I consented to put my child through this experience. As I'm sure its challenging to find qualified staff, perhaps a phone call in the AM to say "we can't treat your son today - we do not have an experienced assistant available" could have been made. I would have greatly appreciated the honesty. I made the suggestion that they have their staff members properly trained BEFORE working on an actual child. I hope this recommendation was taken seriously.

He had no post-op side effect and requested for food almost immediately. He now has this huge appetite. And the anesthesia called 2 weeks after to check him. I definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend. 5+ stars! I’ve been looking for a kid friendly, professional Dentist for my daughter, of which she is 7 years old. She fears the Dentist, just like almost all children would. I was nervous at first because I tried other dental clinics that said they were kid friendly but nothing compares to this Pediactric dental specialist clinic. Dental Works 4 Kids is definitely a must. I went to the one located at Mississauga Rd. and Williams Parkway. I’m really not one to leave any reviews about anything but I was just so satisfied with the courteous, outstanding customer service, and delightful staff, that I had to leave a review about it. Any reviews on here that say otherwise, is completely wrong! Overall, the Dentists, Administration staff and the coordinators were super helpful, friendly and organized. They really made my daughter feel at ease. I spoke to Carmie at the Front Desk and she helped get my daughter in for an appointment as soon as possible. Not to forget to mention the toy machine, which made my daughter very excited and happy at the end of her appointment. Definitely would come back here for my daughter’s regular dental check-ups and dental cleanings. Just Amazing!

Negative experience: I wish I had option for 0 starts… rip off and will not go there again ever plus all my family and friends and my social media will be aware of my experience with them. I given them enough time to make it right and need to speak with higher management but unfortunately they failed to honour my request to get in touch with a higher management. 5 days ago they promised me that a area manager will be contacting me but so far I haven’t heard from them. They charge more and no explanation for it. How can some one pay $200 for a 3yrs old child on her first dentist visit and JUST FOR CHECK UP… its unfair to hard working parents to pay $200 just for a check and no x ray or anything done on her. Do not go there there are so many other good dentists for kids and I’ll be posting some of them shortly.

Positive experience: Though I had some concerns with the clinic but the issue was resolved amicably so I would say that clinic is run by a team of professionals who are happy to hear you and help you. The place is tidy and covid protocol is in place with regards to distancing, cleanliness and self assessments. My daughter liked her Doc and happily did her tooth caping job done.

Fantastic experience: This clinic has been absolutely outstanding for my son with Autism. They have been nothing except friendly and professional. Answering all of my questions. After reading some of the reviews I'm blown away by the amount of kids under 5 who's parents are angry because the clinic is doing what they need to an letting them know of ALL the issues. When you don't take care of your kids teeth and as a result they have issues ... That's the parents fault! I pay out of pocket for my son's dental care and even at 9 years old I brush his teeth a few times a week myself to ensure they have been done correctly! 2 years update: Have continued to have an excellent experience with my son's braces! His teeth look fantastic and thee staff have been incredibly helpful and willing to help at every step.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the "professionalism" of the staff. The work they asured us they could handle was not completed, my daughter's teeth were not fixed. But they said for more money they could fix it! Terrible service. Go somewhere where they care about thier work more than making a dollar.

Negative experience: Very sad as the first impression I got from this place. I went to the rehab clinic next door and decided to go over to this dental place to ask a question. As soon as I opened the door. The girl came running to the door and asked me if I had an appt. I said no I just had a question. She then told me to get out. As I stepped outside, she asked me again if I had an appt and I said no I have a question. She said that I'm not allowed in there. It's only for appts ( which I totally get, during these covid times) what do u need? Was her next question. I understand it's covid. But there is no need for rudeness. I do not recommend this place for the simple fact of how they treat someone with just a question.

We have visited has becouple of clinics but she has been difficult to cooperate with them for treatment procedure. But with Dental Works 4 kids did an amazing job at the 1st visit today she is at least agree to start treatment of her teeth. I am surprisingly excited and happy. Negative experience: One of the worst dentists you could possible ever go to. Their main goal is money at the cost of young children's lives. Please do not bring your children here because they can damage their WHOLE oral health. I went here for an appointment if I need braces, and they said I need to have jaw expanders. Then I went to my family dentists, they told me I need to take out teeth first, which thankfully, was an easy and painless procedure. I asked my family dentist why I can't have jaw expanders, they said I will look like a baboon with its jaw sticking out.

On my own personal opinion my experience with this clinic has been Great their work has been very satisfactory since day 1 even tho me being a very picky and very detail oriented person they have been very patient with me and my child complying to the excellence of their work . I've walked out very Happy from them with my first child to the point that I have currently with no doubt my second child as a patient of them as well.

Negative experience: Worst clinic in the world. If I could rate this clinic ZERO I would most happily do it. I am surprised how these frauds are allowed by govt to operate and play with small kids lives. Govt should take serious action against these businesses. I took my 4 year old to this clinic and I was told that 13-14 teeth need to be removed and there is no other way without removing those teeth. Upset by his mean recommendation, I consulted other clinics and can you believe it....without removing a single tooth they fixed my child's issue....I would strongly recommend other parents to STAY AWAY from this clinic if they love their child. Ghatak ( I will not call this BUTCHER a doctor) and his team are here to make only money at the cost of innocent children's life. They take little kids as their next prey. They will never tell you the treatment there only solution is extraction of teeth.

Negative experience: I wish I could start by not even selecting ONE star. I wish I could second comments that state all these people want is our money because its VERY true. They will appear very nice to lure you in but they basically make you pay for their office space. I paid over a good amount for my son's surgery and they place a spacer in a spot he got a tooth extracted from and less than two years later it fell out with him eating. So naturally I called these people and Miss Anita told me $100 to see Dr. G and $40 for xray and additional for anything else he may need at the appointment so not including gas or any cementing. Well I decided I would rather pay double than give them my money. I went to another office told them what happened they looked at his tooth, gave me expert advice and even better they ACTUALLY didnt NEED an xray and the appointment was free. As a consult. These people knew I had been a patient there an now i was expected to pay again? Terrible terrible terrible service. I would not recommend anyone to this clinic. They lack morale and decency. If they didnt try to scam me of 140 up front I would even be mad. I have great insurance for work and school but I gladly took my business elsewhere, my son likes it there and after telling them the story they apologized and I will now make then our family dentist. Dental Works 4 themselves is NOT the place dor families.

Negative experience: After visiting this dental office on Tuesday February 5th for a consultation for my son and daughter with the Orthodontist. My family and I had a great experience with the Orthodontist and staff. With the result of that experience my wife and I, decided to enroll our kids in hopes of making this dental office our primary dentist for our kids. On Friday February 8th my kids were scheduled for a dental visit for the regular dental services (cleaning, X-ray, floride). All was going well, until I received our bill. (Which I can understand why other reviews are claiming that this office ONLY wants money). #1 (Specialist) The office never once informed us that they were a dental specialist nor there aren't any information in their dental office advising patients that they were a "specialist" dental office. They incorporated the rate for a specialist to each of my children "surprise....!!!!". #2 (Sun Life) We were advised by the secretary that we would have to pay upfront, EVEN though they in fact do "direct billing" to your insurance provider. Their explanation or reasons for this totally contradicts the meaning of direct billing. As per the office we had to pay upfront to eliminate fraudulent acts???....Okay??? So my understanding from their explanation is that they want double payment even though they do perform direct billing to your provider. Once they receive their payment from the provider they refund you the upfront payment. Wow! Such a inconvenience (Again, another important information they did not disclose to us. Prior to our appointment.) I even called Sun Life while in there office. Sun Life even said that it's the dental office discretion towards how they perform payment practices. One of the few! Considering the inconvenience it occurs. #3 (Communications) All of this would have been avoided if they were to improve at communicating to their patients. Miscommunication, was not the reason as we were NEVER informed to begin with. I always thought people exaggerate ones experience. For this experience I give them a 2 star. The staff was great but unfortunately, this experience have diverted us from returning for future services with this dental office. Sometimes change is not necessary a good decision.

Fantastic experience: We had an great experience at Dental Works 4 Kids, Our sons dental surgery went so smoothly! Thanks to the staff, They are amazing from the reception to the dentist they were welcoming and understanding and made sure we were at ease throughout the whole process. Especially Anita she is very thoughtful and professional, and made sure we were taken care of. Dr Ghatak was great also, he explained everything in details and gave us a call later that day to check in on our son.

Fantastic experience: Our sons dental surgery last week went very well. We felt well supported and informed by the team every step of the process. Our son has no recollection of how he got his "Iron Man" teeth. We are very grateful to the staff.

Negative experience: It’s an advise from the heart of a parent whose daughter has suffered from the hands of the doctor. He not only hurt my daughters gum but never informed me that he did this mistake while he was treating her. The same night my daughters pillow was full of blood and I had to rush her to emergency. I am uploading the pics of email in response to my review, hope that would help the Doctor and all parents that what I have suffered from this Doctor and from the management for my refund of deposit. Hope your license is suspended for the way you treat the Kids.

Negative experience: We were referred to this place because our 2 and a half year old son had a huge fall, and had trauma to his teeth/mouth from scraping his gums and hitting his teeth. The specialist told us he had an infection and a fractured tooth, and his two front teeth needed to be extracted. They never told us what infection it was, and never even mentioned any antibiotics to use as a temporary solution, since we were told the procedure had to be done when he is around 3 years old which he will be in 2 months, and also him weighing around 30 lbs. They even asked if we wanted to put a $200 deposit for the procedure which was a total of $700 for the two teeth and the anaesthesia. We told them we needed to think about it. The next day, I browsed through the reviews and that's what made me decided to get a second opinion. That same day, I made a call to a different dental office (Vaughan Children's Dentistry)from google search and had a copy of the xray sent to them. Thankfully I did. The specialist told us, from looking at the xray and his own obseevation, there was no sign of an absess/ infection and that there was no need for an extraction. He told us to just monitor my sons teeth, an if an infection were to occur, check for anything unusual like, pain, swelling, a bubble, redness which are all signs. He wants to see our son in a month for a cleaning which is due and normal regular check ups from there. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID, PARENTS I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous when i first walked in but as i started talking to Anita, she was so nice that all my fears went away. I highly recommend dental works 4 kids. Its not easy to make the decision of getting treatment done for your child specially under General Anesthesia but trust me the staff here is well trained. They understand your concerns and are here to answer all your questions. They walk you through every little step and explain things very clearly, Anita will even help with payment plans and insurance claims. Dr Ghatak is an excellent paediatric dentist, very kind. I am a dentist myself and he has done really good job with my son's treatment. I highly recommend this place and hope it helps some people in making the right choice for your kids oral health.

Negative experience: Parents I’m warning you ****❌❌❌DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS DENTIST❌❌❌!!!!!!!! He tells all parents that their kids need caps or teeth to be pulled out! Don’t get suckered in. He’s rude and talks down to you especially if your using the health smiles program. A refund I was supposed to receive it 8 weeks took about 6 months. Take your kids to mountainview dental my kids loved it there and actually can’t wait to go back. They were originally scared because of their experience with dental works for kids... but I told them they weren’t going back to that horrible place. They now can’t wait for their next dental visit thanks to Mountainview Dental

Negative experience: Took my son here awhile back. He was 6 at the time. It was for a small grinding issue. The dentist said he wanted to pull 8 of his teeth and cap a bunch of the others. Lol I couldn’t believe it. I immediately realized this place was just about making money and not about the best interests of the patients.

Made it fun for my daughter! Even called twice and checked in to see how she was doing after. You won’t get this kind of professional treatement anywhere else because I have been else where. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this clinic. I was looking for a new dental office for my son and needed a second opinion as to the care needed for my son. Dr. Ghatak was very thorough with my son's initial exam and explained all my options thoroughly (our previous office didn't). The subsequent procedures went well with everyone explaining each step to me and answering any questions I had. The hygienist and assistant that work with Dr. Ghatak are so knowledgable and helpful. They truly put my mind at ease and my son and I now look forward to his appointments!

Negative experience: Worst clinic. Had a bad experience. Luckily I figured out in my 2nd appointment for my son that this clinic is so greedy and concern about money, cancelled my appointment and went to other clinic. Be aware of this clinic they are just a waste of money.

Negative experience: Shame on you guys!! Some of the reviews are from their own staff and friends rating them 5 stars when clearly patients have things to say about dental staff hurting kids mouths, or leaving them with bad experiences. As a registered dental hygienist, with over 15 years experience working in a variety of practices I'm disappointed to see that this is one of those practices that want to make me quit this profession. Tisk tisk!

Negative experience: I am not Satisfied because Dr is saying if patient is late by 1 min he will charge. So rude. I have worst experience.

Fantastic experience: Excellent clinic with caring staff and doctors. I have been going to this clinic for several years for both of my kids and myself. My son had 8 cavities filled, that were confirmed by his regular dentist but suggested we see an orthodontist. He received excellent care and the clinic spent a lot of time reviewing the strict rules before the procedure, which was done in the clinic. He had all cavities filled with no problems. My daughter has braces and we have seen excellent results within a short few months. A lot of time was spent on explaining the issues, and what the whole procedure would entail. I myself also have invisalign braces from this clinic. The staff are extremely friendly and caring. They do not rush through patients and they are never behind schedule. They do not over book patients. Kids love it there, with lots of ipads, toys, free vending machine toys and free coffee for adults. I highly recommend Dr. Ghumman and his team.

Fantastic experience: I took my 4 year old son here to fix his front teeth, which had cavities close to his nerve. The dentist and staff was very nice and child friendly. They made my son and I feel very comfortable for his first time dental experience. I learned about son's cavities at his schools dental screening. They also advised me that his cavities are quick deep and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Being a concerned mother, this dental office was very good in explaining to me the options of different procedures as to how they were going to fix my son's teeth. Given that, each children are different in their own ways. The dentist explained to me the best procedure for my son who grinds his teeth when he sleeps. 5 stars for this dental office!! I would recommend this dentist to my family and friends.

Negative experience: I have the worst experience ever here, they wasted my whole day. Please, I recommend to everyone to go to another dentist.

Negative experience: The worst place ever, the doctor hurt her jaw and never told us while she was bleeding, I took her early morning to emergency they told that she has been hurt. They took money as security deposit and took thousands of dollars from the insurance, then when I ask back the money after two months of treatment they say that some amounts are not covered and that security amount is deducted for that reason.
