Nautilus Plus Gatineau

Negative experience: Ça fait quelques années que je suis membres … la clientèle est assez diversifiée en terme d’âge mais faudrait bien dire que tout le monde se respecte et respecte les règlement du gym . Seul problème qui me dérange c’est la propreté, souvent de la poussière sur les machines que je ne crois jamais nettoyé. Aussi les toilettes je ne sais pas si elles sont nettoyées régulièrement car c’est pas toujours beau .

Negative experience: Très déçu de mon passage à Econofitness Promenade ce soir. Je suis venu à 20h pour renouveler ma carte, mais il n’y avait absolument personne à l’accueil. J’ai attendu 15 minutes sans voir aucun employé. Ce n’est pas très professionnel. Une meilleure organisation serait appréciée.

Positive experience: Nor far from les Promenades (Gatineau Mall) and has just enough of everything to stop in and do a quick workout. Decent locker room and ok showers (warm water and free soap).

Positive experience: I don't really understand why anyone would go there and choose this gym over GymMax and EconoFitness. GymMax is 24/7 for almost the same price and EconoFitness has very competitive prices. Nautilus has... Nothing much, actually. I think they do have some trainers that can help you included in your membership, but that's something that benefits such a small fraction of people that want to go to the gym daily that I don't really see it as a selling point. It's more of a random benefit you happen to have once you start going. It's a great gym, it has all the things you'd want a gym to have, but so do the other gyms in Gatineau while actually having significant selling points.

Negative experience: Beaucoup trop cher pour les services offerts. Problème de climatisation en été – il fait chaud où sont les appareils cardio mais on gèle dans le vestiaire. Le nettoyage des machines après usage n’est pas renforci par le staff – résultat; la plupart des utilisateurs ne nettoient pas les machines. Nudité dans le vestiaire des hommes en présence de mineurs. Quasi impossible d'annuler son contrat

Negative experience: Poor equipments, I cut my upper thumb major bleeding by a metal piece sharpen from one of their machine, never fix things, you will be intimidated at one point.. And a lot of dust everywhere I am alergic to dust I kept sneezing... They never clean! And if they do like in the locker room the floor smells very bad cause they never change the water when moping.. Employees all they do is chit chat with each other and with their clients most of the time. I am very disappointed.. The worst gym in Gatineau

Fantastic experience: De loin mon préféré entre les 3 à Gatineau! Employés courtois, très éclairé, propre, machine très bien organisée, beaucoup d'équipements pour les muscles de jambes ( 2 legs presse, 2 smith machine, 4 5 rack pour squat ! Encore plus!

Negative experience: Second worst gym I've ever been to in my whole entire life. One of the people that works there was extremely rude to me at the counter when i wanted to buy a towel. Not friendly if you're gay.

Fantastic experience: J'aime beaucoup les cours de groupes. Anouk l'instructeure de Yoga est formidable et très professionnelle! J'aime beaucoup son approche de la pratique!!! Krystel et Julie qui donne les cours de Strong by Zumba sont aussi très professionnelles et nous donne le goût de nous dépasser!!! Amanda à la réception est très courtoise et a de belles qualités interpersonnelles!! J'adore mon nouveau gym!!!!

Malheureusemenent, quand un cours de spinning est offert avec supplément $$$ significatif sur l'abonnement, il devrait toujours y avoir quelqu'un de disponnible pour offrir le cours ou remboursement offert. Ce qui n'est pas le cas. En plus, les vélos sont en bien pauvre état et de moins bonne qualité que ceux du gym de Aylmer. S'ils font des évènements spéciaux le samedi il faut repayer pour faire le spinning. Décevant...

Je n'ai pas attrapé son nom mais c'est la raison pour laquelle je donne à cet endroit 5 étoiles. Vous fait toujours sentir les bienvenus There is a girl that works the counter here, brunette, always professional, always smiles and greets you. I didn't catch her name but she is the reason I give this place 5 stars. Always makes you feel welcomed

Negative experience: I would like to share my thoughts about this gym. Before I give a review, I would like people to know that I was in the military for nearly 20 years travelled around and I have worked out in more gyms than I can even count. This gym is poor at best. I am paying $92.00 per month (the boomerang fee) for a gym that has equipment as old as my grandmother. The shower area is terrible. The shower heads all spray out like they are broken, the shower curtain doesn't go all the way across and it only goes up to my knees. Therefore, if I drop the soap people get a eye full. They also do not have any private areas to change (I am a prude) I tried to change in the bathroom and its super tiny, where you need to walk out to change your mind. Back to the equipment, they have the old kaiser equipment that uses air, the concept was great about 40 years ago when two people were in a gym at a time. The rest of the equipment is the kind you must add plates to it. That wouldn't be so bad if they had lots of plates to go around, which they do not. You have to walk around trying to find plates all over the place. Next the cables, I am short so I cannot pull the cable down to adjust it. Usually there are feet steps attached to cable crossovers, but not here. I am at the mercy of anyone that is 4-5 inches taller than me to help. The benches, there are 4 benches!! That is it, so when its busy and you like the free weights, forget it you won't get a bench. The free weights are all banged up but they do, do they job. Cardio equipment - omg old again! The cardio equipment is from 20 years ago (which is a improvement from the 40 year old kaiser equipment). Every single piece although it works needs to be updated. I will give you another example of a issue, I use the elliptical. The first level is so hard I can't get past it! Trust me my cardio is good so for people just starting out you are f***. There is one place in the whole gym that has paper towel and cleaning supplies. Therefore, nobody cleans the benches or weight area. I have never paid so much to get so little. I have worked out now at three different gyms in Gatineau, all different and all had good points and bad. This is the bottom of the three and when my membership is up, I will not be back. I had written them and asked for a free trial for even one day and never got a response so when I joined I was somewhat in the dark. In closing, if you want to spend your money for a quality gym this is NOT it. Its getting a 2 star because they do have different interesting classes.

Fantastic experience: Tres bon gym, generalement pas trop occuper, c'est tres rare qu'il faut attendre pour les machines. Le staff est très professionnel, toujours pret a aider si il y a quelquechose. Avec le forfait qui redonne de l'argent a chaque visite, sa aide a la motivation!

Positive experience: J'ai visité plusieurs Nautilus au Québec. Probablement un de ceux que j'ai le moins aimé. Il n'est pas très grand. On est très collé. Un set de poulies seulement.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, well maintained professional gym. Great options in terms of personal trainers, therapeutic massage and nutrtionist. I'm 57 years old and require close attention if i'm to meet objectives efficiently and without injuring myself. Charles André (personal trainer) is very knowledgeable, methodical and invested in helping me meet my goals. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I've been going there for over 2 years now and the staff is great, friendly and polite, the locker room is always clean, and it's pretty much douchebag-free (pretty rare around here). The coaches are qualified and motivating :)

Negative experience: The gym was ok. The staff behind the counter were especially unhelpful when me and friends were trying to pay. Their system was down and the manager didn't seem in a hurry to make us pay and stop wasting time. The one-time entry fee was huge - 17 bucks. Would not go again.
