Fantastic experience: We recently celebrated my daughter’s 4th birthday at Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We chose the Crazy Camp Games birthday package, which included a fantastic variety of games and activities that kept the kids entertained the entire time. The event coordinators and staff at The Nook (lunch provider) were incredibly organized and thoughtful—everything was set up before we arrived and they handled all the food and drink requests. Lunch included kid-friendly favourites like pizza, chicken fingers, and fries—huge hit with everyone! If you’re looking for a fun, stress-free birthday party venue in Orangeville, I highly recommend Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club.

Negative experience: I was looking forward to joining this facility with my friend, however I’m truly shocked at the Tyler’s behaviour towards my friend. I read all the email exchanges and he accused my friend of demanding a free membership, and went as far as calling my dear friend names! My friend and I are baffled, she’s never been treated like this by anyone, nor would she ever demand anything yet alone treat other workers poorly. Her initial inquiry was about the steam rooms that seemed unclean and Tyler told her it’s the hard water that is responsible for the yellow discharge. He further continued to belittle and act passive aggressively in his response email calling her a “keyboard warrior”. I’m truly concerned about Tyler’s behaviour towards guests and he is also the manager which makes me even more worried. Very unprofessional, I hope the owner of this business is aware of how this employee is dealing with potential guests.

Negative experience: It’s a beautiful facility but they really need to work on their customer service.

Fantastic experience: Best spot to workout in Orangeville. New strength and conditioning area is top notch and the locker room, towel service, steam room/ sauna make it even more enjoyable.

Negative experience: Went in there with a guest pass to workout turns out you can only use the machine area with the most outdated setup, cant even use the studio. If you are here for serious lifting and workout try somewhere else, the place was clean and hygienic

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough about HRC. From the well kept equipment, programs they run and friendly staff. The summer and Christmas/March Break camps are fantastic, worth the $.

Fantastic experience: Headwaters is the BEST tennis club that I know of. I have a membership at Headwaters but I don't go there for the gym (I play tennis), so while I may not be able to give perspective on its other perks, I can give perspective on its tennis. The coaches are all amazing, friendly, and they know how to coach well. They help you improve and work on the things that you think need improvement. They have eight courts in total, four outdoors, four indoors, and they're all good courts. The staff is kind and I honestly couldn't be happier with a tennis club!

Negative experience: Horrible experience at golf sim, DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. Shady business practices, no integrity, no accountability, VERY rude manager. Booked both sims for 3 hours each for a large group birthday get together on a Saturday night. Both sims were operating slow to begin with, One sim wasn’t registering some shots and progressively got worse as we played until no shots were registering at all, the second sim froze twice, and required re-booting twice. After the second reboot, it also didn’t register any shots at all. We got maybe 1 hour of play on each sim the rest of the time was wasted not to mention we started 15 minutes late because the previous group was not cleared out on time by the staff. After not being offered any resolution, even a credit to come back on another day, we decided to request our money back. The girls at the front desk were great, explained to the manager (via phone call) what was happening and we were told they didn’t have authorization to issue a refund, but the manager can, and will be in on Monday. We were told to come back then to collect our refund. Come Monday, the manager refuses our refund based on false accusations of us (a group of non smokers) smoking cigarettes in a bathroom in the restaurant attached to the sim. We were not allowed in that restaurant the entire time as it had been booked for a private event. The video of “proof” she provided was of someone exiting a complete different bathroom adjusting their shirt/collar as they exited. I have no proof, but I suspect the extremely rude manager Caitlyn, authorized the refund, took our money, kept it for herself and used the false accusations with no proof to justify that no refund will be issued. Extremely sketchy situation and should be investigated by the owners. The overall unprofessionalism from the rude manager is something I’ve never seen from a multimillion dollar business over a measly 350$. Not to mention we spent another several hundred dollars on drinks and food from the restaurant. We as a group payed for a service that WAS NOT PROVIDED. Some of us were returning customers and some of us were first time visitors, needless to say, none of us will ever be returning, solely based on the poor behaviour, lack of integrity and rude conduct of the manager we dealt with named Caitlyn, everyone else was very nice and provided the best service they could given the circumstances.

Negative experience: The golf simulator was a joke, shots didn't register, and when when a refund was asked for they came up with excuses that weren't factual. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: This place has gone downhill, especially the golf simulator. Will never return and would not recommend visiting.

Negative experience: Wanted to join as a racquets member, as I hadn’t been a member in 3 years and travel in the summers so figured I would buy a Christmas promotion for me and my 5 family members as it was worth it for us to be members for 3 months at a time over the winter. Nowhere on the ads did it say promotion only for new members. So I asked if I join would I have to pay the new member initiation fee and they said yes I would. So why am I a new member to have to pay the new member initiation fee, but I’m not a new member when it comes to a promotion! Very false advertising I will be taking me and my family to CW Racquets in Fergus, as I think a lot of others have started to do as well.

Fantastic experience: Huge facility with well maintained equipment, locker rooms (they are huge, include a sitting area with a tv and plenty of lockers) and services. Squash courts, Indoor and outdoor Tennis courts, 2 gyms, and great strength and conditioning course lead by certified Coaches. Plus an awesome restaurant and Golf simulators. How could it be anything but 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: The program at Headwaters Strength and Conditioning offers fun and challenging workouts for all fitness levels. Participating in a class with teenagers, seniors, elite athletes, and everyone in between creates a supportive community and makes me excited to go to the gym. The constantly varied workouts means I'm always improving. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and the facility includes a lot of amenities including childcare, steam rooms, and towel service. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been members at HRC for about 4 years. We first joined just to play tennis during winter, but we have since enjoyed a membership unlike anything we were originally expecting. Our tennis skill, fitness, and overall health have obviously soared, but our social circle has also expanded dramatically. We have forged genuine personal connections with several other members and staff, and we have even met people who have positively influenced our business. We won Raptors tickets during one of their many seasonal community drives, we were once honoured as members of the month, and the Kids Club on site inadvertently became the first daycare for our then two-year old. Our membership experience has gone far beyond the physical benefits as well. In a completely unstable world, HRC has been a place we could always count on to find some kind of peace. We watched our boy as he learned to ride a bike in their empty parking lot during a Covid lockdown, I was helped by one of the tennis pros who turned around to assist me on the side of the road during winter, and we have been shown a great deal of compassion by the staff on several occasions. While we originally joined just for the tennis, HRC has become centred around some of the best years of our life. Joining this club has improved my world in more ways than I can fully describe here, and I’m both proud and grateful to be a member of HRC.

Negative experience: We bought memberships last Christmas on a special which we activated before March end. The kids were enrolled in the spring tennis session, yoga and spring break camp. They would typically get discounted or free sessions with the membership. All of these sessions were shortened due to a lockdown. When we emerged from lockdown we signed them up for yoga and fall tennis expecting to receive a discount as we were still active members. But without warning they cancelled discounts and free classes bc we would not be members when the programs started. I think that is unfair since we did not get anything close to the service we should have during Covid. As a result we will not renew memberships and once our sessions are complete for tennis this fall will move my children's memberships to another club that focuses on customer service and I can move my membership back to the Township recreation centre. Good luck to HRC but with this level of customer service I think you may be in for future problems.

Positive experience: I love coming to this club - clean, always enough equipment for everyone, never crowded, great classes. Their evening and weekend hours are VERY limited. I've often missed the chance to come in late at night because they close Sunday's at 3pm. Otherwise I love it!
