Fantastic experience: Shane was extremely thorough in the analysis of my foot and the discussion of what the various adjustments/ additions that would be needed to help solve my particular problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a terrific personality as well!

Fantastic experience: This was my second visit with Lisa and once again it was excellent. My progress was reviewed and I was given some new exercises. After I had done them a number of times Lisa demonstrated them so that I could video them. This gives me a great resource to ensure that I do them properly at home. Thanks Lisa.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Garnett a couple of times most recently with a si joint injury. I couldn’t have been happier with the process, being active is very important to me and he has been fantastic in the physical and the mental side of recovering from a longer term Injury and getting me back on my feet. I been working with him on a strength training plan which has been fantastic and informative all around 10/10 service he goes massively above and beyond.

Cathy was very professional and attentive, focusing on my areas of tension and providing just the right amount of pressure. The session left me feeling relaxed and significantly relieved. Fantastic experience: A very welcoming receptionist was just the start of a good all round experience. Shane Munro was very professional and reassuring with his assessment. He explained the treatment he was doing and its benefits plus exercises that I should undertake. I have already booked a second visit.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a massage with Kate and WOW, was it ever amazing. I’m a Physio and can be pretty picky with my RMT’s but was this ever a pleasant surprise. I’m just here on vacation and am sad that I won’t be able to see her again. If you are in need of a massage I would absolutely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Lisa was instrumental in helping me come back from a couple of injuries that were keeping me away from fully enjoying my sport activities. Her understanding of endurance sports was key in getting me prepared for what ended up as a podium finish in my long distance triathlon. I recommend her highly.

Fantastic experience: The whole team is amazing (physical therapists, but also the receptionists). They are all professional, kind, respectful and efficient. The physical therapists take your injury very seriously and want you to get better by giving you the best exercises for you based on your “pain”  level or your injury recovery process, making follow-ups on your injury each appointment, but also how you feel about your injury, ask if you have any question or concern, making follow-ups on how you do your exercises and change the exercises depends on the pain level or your preferences and more. They also gave me previous advice for the future before my last appointments. It was a long process for my knee injury recovery (it took me a lot of appointments and months) and I am still careful and work on some exercises, but I am mostly recovered. I cannot describe how I feel about walking/hiking again—this is one of the best feelings ever to feel “alive” again. I totally recommend Ascent Physio for physiotherapy if you have a knee injury or work injury—they are the best you could have. I am very thankful/grateful to have them to help me to recover. Ascent Physio, once again, thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Lisa Pearson has been my physiotherapist for atleast 25 years. I trust her knowledge and advice. She is very good at pin pointing where the problem is and provides excellent treatment and suggestions for recovery, strengthening, and mobility exercises.

Fantastic experience: I live an active lifestyle and because of that I tend to fall off my bike on a fairly frequent basis. Having a Physiotherapist as knowledgeble, professional and friendly as Lisa is an invaluable asset in my health and wellness arsenal to help me recover, stay healthy and get me back out on the trails quickly.

Fantastic experience: Lisa is amazing and the facility is great.

Negative experience: Called their office in Lake Louise and booked an appointment for a massage. Was soooooo excited for this. But when I showed up, I found out that their office is actually in Canmore. Pretty poorly executed by the folks at Ascent! I called the Lake Louise number, but they must forward their calls to Canmore. Just wish they'd have told me. Felt bad as by the time we realized, Kate the therapist lost an hour of client time

Fantastic experience: Arrived to Canmore for a short stay with a messed up back. Got in with short notice. Best massage ever. Was able to ride a bike that day while hardly able to walk in the morning. Ask for Vicky! She was amazing, a true professional and dedicated to client care. Highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: Have had 5 weekly, one on one sessions with Ali so far and she is great. Very attentive and understanding of needs/wants. Front desk staff are always very polite and helpful. I was able to get my first appointment very quick and all followups have been easy to work around my schedule. Prices are fair and well worth the money. Highly reccomend.
