Fantastic experience: So excited to try so many new things! I shopped in person recently and had a wonderful customer service experience. The lady behind the counter was so personable (I commented how I liked the music, I danced while i shopped, felt like a regular customer instantly) . I just placed my first online order as I am excited to repurchase items from the other week and try some more. I had a bit of trouble on the payment screen so I called. A different lady answered the phone and she was also warm and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I don’t typically write reviews but felt compelled to provide some feedback on Rukhshana Khan and her store Simply for Life Oakville (at the corner of Taunton Road and Oak Park Blvd). In January of 2021, after living 17 years in Australia I decided to come home to Canada and settled in Oakville to be near family. While life in Australia had been wonderful, I had picked up some bad habits in terms of my diet and lifestyle over my time there - habits that I needed to get in check. So just before my 56th birthday last May, I decided to sign up for the Simply for Life program at Rukhshana Khan’s Oakville store. The program had a number of elements, including personalized one-on-one coaching by Rukhshana, access to a range of healthy foods in the store, a food diary, and weekly weigh-ins to keep me honest. I am really pleased with my progress and over the last 8 months I have dropped over 40lbs. I had tried for a number of years to improve my diet and get more frequent exercise but until I met Rukhshana (I just call her ‘Coach’) I had only intermittent success. She made me realize that it's not about making drastic changes to my diet or my exercise habits, but about making little changes at a time - changes that add up, make a real difference, and become part of a regular routine. So, I started walking, and I now walk for 60-90 minutes at least five times a week. She also convinced me to kick a serious Diet Coke habit and start drinking more water so now most days of the week I drink at least 2L/8 glasses of water. The diet changes were the easiest change to make because her store sells a wide variety of reasonably priced, pre-made meals that are ‘heat and serve simple’. While you might assume that she would want me to buy all my meals at the store, nothing could be further from the truth. She like me, is a realist, and understands that a normal life dictates regular dinners out, and entertaining or meals with friends - its not about buying pre-cooked meals from a service forever. To help me with that, she has helped rethink the eating and drinking choices I make in these settings and helped me ‘re-learn’ how to cook my own healthy meals and even provided easy to follow recipes in the early days to get me started. In summary, the program Rukhshana offers through her Simply for Life in Oakville is personalized for me, fits my lifestyle, and has helped me change my habits over time. What I like that most about the program however, is having Rukhshana as my coach - easy to talk to, non-judgmental (unless she needs to be) and encouraging to a fault, she clearly cares about me and has a personal stake in me meeting my goals. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this store if you are looking for low carb, non GMO, gluten free, no sugar added consumer products. They have a wide selection of packaged, canned goods, frozen goods and ready to serve meals. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful in helping you with your pur hates. They sell fresh loafs of quality & tasteful low carb breads and buns which are usually extremely hard to fine. I highly recommend this store.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Simply For Life location! Very large and well organized. I am on the ketogenic diet, a lot of amazing prepared meal, bread, desserts, ice cream, pasta, tortilla and snack options. The prices are reasonable, the owner is very lovely and the store is exceptionally managed. This is my go-to location! Check it out for Keto, Paleo, Vegan and other focused lifestyles.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved our experience at Simply for Life. They have a great selection of items and a really comfortable setup with everything spaced out throughout their location. It's almost as if it were purposely mapped out to provide a social distancing experience. So at least now we know the posts posted literally within the same day were fake. Its unfortunate because at a time when we all need each other to maintain healthy and safe this entire circumstance is driving everyone apart. Fantastic experience: I have been a client and customer since the store opened and have had an amazing experience. Simply for Life is exactly what I was looking for. They have helped me to change my ways and become healthier and happier. Over the past year, Ruksana has coached me in getting my nutrition on point and feeling the best I have in years. I have lost almost 50lbs! I love the holistic and full picture approach. They don't just focus on loosing weight, its about your mental health, encouraging fitness, nutrition and overall well being. They are 100% practicing Covid health protocol in the store and offer virtual coaching! The store is full of so many great finds and no matter who's working, the staff is all so helpful. As a family, we have successfully switched to a lower sugar, higher nutrient diet. I love taking my kids in to help me pick some treats for the week :) Thank you Ruksana and SFL

Fantastic experience: Every time I go to this store, the staff is very welcoming and respond very kind to my inquiries (especially, Rukhsana the owner). Love the variety of products they have. Last time I was there, they had samples of Kombucha (lemon/lime one) and it was delicious!!!. Also, the space is very clean, bright and spacious and it was very pleasant to attend a workshop there. I like this place and will definitely go back.

Negative experience: Would love to give Simply For Life a good review, but unfortunately every time I walk by the staff are unmasked and the two times I went in the staff declined to put on a mask. While I love the products available here, I'm disappointed by this behaviour and will not be returning. If this is a risk you're willing to take, then the store looks great and has some good products.

I was very taken back by how clean, organized and beautiful the store is. Usually other health stores are hard to navigate and hard to find a staff member to help you with your needs. The store is big and very neat. They not only offer healthy products, but also counts with Functional Health Practitioners that can coach you to make your healthier habits journey much more easier than you think. They also have very helpful facebook lives where they share how even replacing few products in your kitchen can make a huge impact in your health and reduce body inflammation without having to sacrifice taste. I find the facebook lives very informative and educational. This is a great store if you want to get a healthier body and life as a whole.

The products range from regular day produce to speciality makeup and animal care. The gluten free fish and chips and Salted Caramel cereal were great!
