Fantastic experience: What else can I say other than the last two or three years visiting the Saint John location has been chef's kiss. The staff have always been attentive, friendly, professional and at times, sharply funny and quick-witted. I've developed a firm professional and working relationship with Tanya; who has otherwise floored us all with her weight loss transformation this past year. She's likewise been incredibly helpful with my own journey as I've navigated through some situations. If you are looking for someone real who isn't transactional and actually cares about your well being, speak with her for assertive direction, meaningful collaboration and suggestions. Tanya is someone with a vast array of lived experience if you feel SFL is/might be the right fit for you. The store is always clean, bright and organized. I've also enjoyed my time there completing tasks on my laptop while savoring a coffee or a healthy snack/meal.

Fantastic experience: Joining Simply for Life and seeing Callie weekly has been a huge life changer. I've always been trying to loose weight unsuccessfully. With this plan, I can eat real food (with actual carbs lol) and have lost a lot of weight!!! Would highly recommend visiting and asking for Callie as a coach!

Negative experience: I have tried calling and let each extension ring cannot get a hold of anybody in the store to ask a couple of questions before I go out of my way there looks like a good review unsure of if they sell organic meat and vegetables or if it's just a restaurant

Mike has always been there no matter how many times I come back with never ever any judgement to Bruce whose knowledge makes your jaw drop after every conversation to the one and only Tanya whose smile and positively energy is infectious and who is beautiful both inside and out!

Fantastic experience: I never thought starting SFL would change my life both physically and mentally. I’m beyond greatful to have such wonderful people who are well trained to guide me through this journey and have years of experience. My coach is Mike Griffin and he teaches me every week how my body works and what we need to do to fuel it. What changes we need to make and what we need to do so we can feel our best. Education is the key to success and Mike has all that knowledge that he’s excited to share with me every week. Mike makes a difference to help you look and feel your best. I’m beyond blessed to be able to work with Mike. SFL also has fresh, made with local ingredients, meals to go that are spectacular for those who just don’t feel like cooking that day or in a hurry. At SFL the staff are an absolute delight to deal with, always have a smile and make you feel like part of the family. I also can’t say enough about how immaculate this store is. Just beautiful, so neat, organized and clean. I’m excited after 6 months to be down 50lbs. I feel better both physically and mentally. I can’t wait to continue another 6 months to get me to where I want to be. This is a lifetime change! Thank you SFL and Mike for helping me with my journey.

The market has a fantastic variety of all natural products. Both the market and Bistro are excellent if you are in a rush and don't have time to prepare a meal. You can pick up a healthy meal to go.

Positive experience: The place is gorgeous. there's so many healthy products to choose from and get Grocery. My sister and I ate here for the first time, and if you like cold poke bowl, this is the place for you. They do have more options for food, but I got a tuna poke bowl, which everything was a little frozen. Mind you, it did taste amazing because I ate it all! Overall a good experience

Fantastic experience: Great products and atmosphere at Simply for Life! Plenty of seating to having something to drink or eat at the cafe and lots of wonderful natural light in the space. Will come back for sure although I wish there were more vegan options as far as the sandwiches and sweets offered at the cafe. Plenty of wonderful products at the store though!

Positive experience: Pretty sweet spot if you are looking for some of the healthier options you won’t find at a regular grocery store. They have consultants on hand for nutritional/healthy life style support. I didn’t use any of them but the atmosphere was nice. The store feels open. There is a cafe there as well. I had a mocha with oat milk. It wasn’t very good. First issue was that their cup leaked through the bottom Slowly. I got it all over my shirt. When I took my first sip (about five minutes into getting it) it was still piping hot. It actually burnt my lip. I let it cool a bit then drank some it but the flavor was not super great. The coffee being so hot, possibly burnt, had a weird taste and yet seemed weak. It was my first attempt to visit the cafe though. I see myself trying it again. The atmosphere was so pleasant.

Fantastic experience: So delicious! I had ordered smoked brisket and my wife had the veggie pesto. I just wish they have an option for gluten free bread. A place like this should have an option. I appreciate it!

Fantastic experience: Stopped into the Bistro today - for the first time (won’t be the last) My mom and I both chose the Turkey Sandwich and made it a club! Wow! Best Turkey sandwich ever! So good! The customer service was outstanding from the nice lady who took the order and the guy who delivered the sandwiches right to our table it’s great to have a healthy option for a lunch out! Looking forward to trying out more on the menu!

Fantastic experience: Visiting from Boston and I have to say this is one of the best most reasonably priced health boutiques I've been to. Their staff is very friendly and grocery selection is carefully chosen offering the cleanest brands available. An absolute haven in this area for those conscious about what they're consuming. Negative experience: Was visiting Saint John, was curious to see what this store had to offer. Got 2 bags of Italian pasta and 2 cans of san marzano tomatoes. Those arent cheap but I don’t mind putting the price for good quality products. Tags on the shelf was $5.75 the can. At the register, I was in my thoughts and a lady behind the cashier shoot out loud : «Smile it’s Wednesday!» (classy way to great your customers!). Went back to my car and then realized something was wrong with the amount I paid. Went back double checked the shelf price and went back to cashier. She charged me $16 for 2 cans so 8 bucks each. When I told her it wasn’t the price on the shelf, she said « well that’s the price in the computer, it is what it is! » Not even sorry, nothing, she didn’t bother double checking then she asked me right away if I wanted a refund. Hell yeah refund me! And you’ll never see me again with this kind of attitude. I don’t really care about the couple of bucks extra, it’s just how the whole thing has been poorly handled. Not a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Visited for the first time today. Beautiful atmosphere. Enjoyed a Matcha Latte - it’s the best matcha latte I’ve ever had. The egg bites were divine, as was the poppyseed muffin. Will be visiting again!

A great spot to grab a coffee and muffin on the way to work and a great sit-in section to take in the experience. Friendly staff, fast service and a great atmosphere. This place is a gem in Saint John!

Positive experience: I had the Mediterranean bowl and a coffee . The food was very good. Flavors were nice, bowl itself nicely put together and good. However it was definitely the least amount of food I have ever received for $23. I would like to enjoy this more often but I was definitely still hungry after I finished.

Negative experience: To be fair, the first time I went an actual barista was working and and my almond milk latte was very good. Service was great. Second time I went a very nice girl was able to take my order but she was not a barista and really had no clue how to make an espresso based coffee. She was ery nice and good at customer service. If you are gonna run a business selling specialty coffee drinks, please have proper staff on hand and trained to make it.

Fantastic experience: OMG...if you have not stopped by to treat yourself to one of their beautiful sandwiches you must! Enjoyed a lovely warm toasted sandwich with contained grilled yellow zucchini, carrots, red onion,other veggies with delicious melted goats cheese. Presented wrapped in paper as opposed to plastic. First thought was while unwrapping and viewing it was it was more of a piece of art than a sandwich! It tasted every bit as great as it looked! And what a great place to stop to grab your morning coffee! If you haven't been then you will want to go!

Positive experience: Good wholesome food, nice atmosphere. Wish they were open for longer than 6 pm. By the time we finished work, packed up the kid and reached, it was past 5.40 and I was told I had "one minute to order", and that I needed to choose from the pre-made items. We rushed through our meal but still enjoyed the food.

Fantastic experience: Nice! They have a lot of stuff that I haven't found elsewhere in Saint John - grass fed meats, and lots of healthy snacks (like sugar free gummy bears, and stuff that keto types would like). I had an London Fog from their cafe and it was top notch! Staff was super nice too :)

Positive experience: Went to the new location on Rothesay Ave. Really cool location with a really great selection! The bistro is really nice and the smoothies we ordered tasted great. The only thing I have to say is that the wait for them was very long. About 20 minutes for two smoothies at 6:30pm. If you do want to eat here I would reccomend planning to do a sit down rather than grabbing something quickly.
