With a strong family history of Osteoporosis and years of only my GP's advice I decided to add a naturopath Dr to my health journey and chose Dr Yates practice. Fantastic experience: Dr. Seph has helped me enormously with issues that western medicine couldn't help me with. Nothing compares with the safe treatment of natural medicine. All other forms of treatment are alternative medicine and do not address the underlying cause. Thank you Dr Seph.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Yates and unfortunately, I entered the appointment in my calendar for the wrong date. The clinic called me and told me they were expecting me in the office - when I looked at my calendar and saw that I incorrectly entered the date, she asked if I wanted to talk with the doctor on the telephone. I did and I was impressed with his suggestions for my problem. Thank you and I will take extra care going forward on entering my appointments for the correct date.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with Dr Yates. I'm not overly familiar with the processes and treatments under a naturopath. I must say my first foray was comforting. Dr Yates patiently explained the process and steps that I will be undergoing over the next year. The meal plan is something I can definitely follow. Nothing was overwhelming for my first visit. And, zero wait time! What most amazes me is that I will have weekly follow-ups where my diet and supplements will be adjusted as required.

Fantastic experience: I have extensive experience with acupuncture treatments and have primarily worked with Chinese practitioners, not only in Canada but also in Europe and Asia. As a result, I was initially hesitant due to my own unconscious bias. After my first session, I can confidently say that Dr. Yates is highly knowledgeable in his field. He takes the time to listen, understand the root causes of issues, and is approachable and friendly. His staff also appears to be professional and welcoming. So far, my experience has been excellent, and I look forward to future sessions.

Fantastic experience: Easy to set up appointment online. Lots of parking available. Immediately acknowledged upon entry. Dr. Yates was very punctual and his friendly demeanour made me immediately feel at ease. This was an initial consultation. During this time we discussed my medical history. Dr. Yates presented a plan of action to which I agreed. We will commence my natural treatment in two weeks. I left feeling very optimistic.

Fantastic experience: I see Jose Mendoza for deep tissue massages and I’m always impressed by how amazing I feel after. I have chronic pain in my back and he recently helped relief some pressure I felt in my shoulder and arm. He’s been a true blessing. I wish I could see him every week!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my care from Dr. Yates. He helped me several years ago with a major health issue when regular medical offices and ER's couldn't recognise the issue. He is pleasant to work with, is extremely professional and is very accurate and insightful with his diagnoses. I have great confidence in his knowledge.

Negative experience: If you are attending this clinic for a weight-loss plan, you're in the right place. However, if you are attending for health related issues, run. My primary reason for attending this clinic was H-pylori, and while I was there, I asked about the weight-loss program. We spent upwards of 30 minutes discussing the weight-loss program. He was trying to convince me to take vitamin b shots, but when I reminded Dr. Yates, my primary focus was H-pylori he shut down and spent a couple of minutes discussing my concerns before giving me bitters and ushering me out of the office. Bitters did not work. Like I said, if you are attending this clinic for weight-loss, you're probably in safe hands but health related concerns I'd steer clear.

Positive experience: Dr Yates is very professional and does a good job of explaining what he is doing and suggesting natural alternatives to feel better. My only complaint is that due to the small office and thin walls, you can often hear his conversations with other clients. A white noise machine or some sort of relaxing music in the acupuncture rooms could help remedy this.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Yates is amazing - from acupuncture that healed my carpel tunnel to herbal therapies to balance out perimenopausal hormone imbalances and boost immune function in cold and flu season, he covers all the bases and treats the root cause rather than the symptoms alone. He’s treated me and my children successfully for various conditions over the years and I’m so grateful for his extensive knowledge, experience, honesty and excellent bedside manner.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Yates is a great Naturopathy. Why? He's able to treat underlying disorders and help restore my normal body functions by enhancing the body's own healing abilities. He also has the key to problem solving. During Covid he helped me by giving me an antiviral tincture which helped my immune system and body stay strong. During the summer months I take his allergy tincture which works wonders. He's definitely a wealth of information.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Yates, I was diagnosed with Hyper thyroids recently and during my initial consult, he took the time to listen carefully understanding the human being behind the desk. He is a human kind with a lot of expertise and amazing results after the first visit. I've seen Dr. Yates for 7 years with many good stories to share all great results with naturopathy and accupunture.

Negative experience: I have been to 2 previous naturopaths before and had amazing results, when searching i found that Dr. Yates had great reviews. At my appointment he was 30 minutes late without letting me know then proceeded to rush me through my appointment which was supposed to be 40-50 minutes and was crammed into 20 minutes, mind you still charging me full price. Needless to say i will not be seeing him again. He really didn't listen to my concerns and reminded me of how i'm treated by a doctor in modern medicine a "one size fits all" remedy. Truly disappointed by my visit and would NOT recommend.
