Fantastic experience: I had a great massage with Hayley today. She was professional and pleasant to chat with during treatment. The room was clean and tidy, and the entrance to the building was bright and inviting. I was also treated previously by Brooke and she was amazing as well. I highly recommend both of them!
Fantastic experience: I just had my initial consultation with Krystin, and it was such a great first experience! She was kind, supportive, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and offered great ideas. On top of that, we're both retired athletes coming from sports known for unhealthy body standards, so I felt completely understood when explaining both my past and present difficulties with my relationship with food. We set five clear, attainable goals, which she emailed to me as soon as our appointment was finished, and I left the consultation feeling motivated. I'm already looking forward to meeting with her again in two weeks to review my progress and discuss a meal plan. Thanks so much Krystin!

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elysian Wellness Centre and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The clinic is immaculately clean, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It’s clear that they take great pride in maintaining a pristine, comfortable environment for their clients. Customer service was amazing, was greeted right away. As for services, they truly excel in all services from physio, chiro, massage, and have incredible registered dieticians. The beauty is that it is a one stop shop. If you are someone who focus on recovery and general wellness I can’t recommend anywhere but here!

Fantastic experience: Amazing clinic. I work as an admin at an office and my back is always hurting, Alex (chiro has fixed it tremendously). I also see Sara for dietitian services and she’s absolutely phenomenal. Don’t listen to all the negative reviews here. This clinic is amazing and I see them deal with so many difficult people while I’m there while remaining calm. Kudos to them.
Negative experience: The Nurse that administers the IV’s is excellent. But the customer service or whoever answers the phones is the worst. They are all about grabbing as much money from you without providing the service all the while hiding behind the cancellation policy. I was happy to pay my $100 if it was my fault, but it was their system/ dashboard that eliminated my booking, and I offered to rebook the same appointment only to be met with a defensive and unreasonable CSR. Oh did I say they then had the nerve to invoice the whole amount? Fun fact I had recommended them to my friend group and now …..
Hello Margaret, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our records indicate that you booked 1 IV and 2 injections online on February 20, 2025 at 11:09 AM for an appointment on February 22, 2025. We understand you mentioned that our system cancelled your appointment because it wasn’t showing up on your dashboard. However, we found no cancellation on our end and no cancellation email was sent to you by our system whatsoever, and in fact a confirmation email for your appointment was also sent when you booked it online. In fact, you received a reminder email on February 21, 2025 at 9:00 AM— which is when you reached out to us regarding your appointment status. When we confirmed that your appointment was still active, you informed us that you would not be able to attend because you had scheduled a “non-refundable” ski trip on the same day. As we explained, our signed policy requires that we charge the full amount since our IV bags, which have no preservatives and stay frozen, are defrosted two days prior to the appointment and must be used within a specific timeframe. Rescheduling would have resulted in the defrosted IV bag being thrown in the garbage. We’re sorry if you felt that our reception did not provide the level of customer service you expected. Our review of the call recording indicates that our representative remained calm and professional, even under challenging circumstances (e.g. you raising your voice and not allowing her to speak). We also note that no concerns were raised on the day of booking, and we would have gladly addressed any issues if contacted sooner. We appreciate your feedback and hope this explanation clarifies the situation.

She has provided me with a meal plan and continuously monitors it regularly to ensure my goals are being met. She has consistently encouraged me towards a healthier diet and lifestyle. Progress has been steady. Highly recommenced.
Negative experience: I had a great experience with dietitian Krystin—she was respectful and kind. However, I have some concerns about the centre's policies. The centre mentions that a follow-up appointment is required, but they do not clearly state that it comes with an additional $90 charge. This brings the total cost to $335, which was not made transparent upfront. When I submitted a claim to my insurance for $245, they only covered $150, explaining that Elysian charges more than a regular appointment. It shows their appointment is expensive. Additionally, the follow-up appointment is scheduled two weeks later, meaning you don’t receive a meal plan during that time, which can be confusing. Due to these issues, I decided to cancel my appointment. However, I was charged an extra $90 plus the $95 difference that insurance did not cover, totaling $185 in unexpected costs. I recommend carefully reviewing their policies before proceeding, as they are quite restrictive.

Our policies explicitly state that a custom meal plan is not provided during the first session. As the name suggests, a custom meal plan requires time for assessment and development—it is not something that can be created instantly within the same session. All your concerns were clearly stated in the intake sheet you initialed and signed beside each policy. Our pricing structure is also clearly outlined. The initial assessment fee of $245 covers both your 60-minute consultation with a highly qualified Registered Dietitian and the additional time required to design your individualized meal plan. Our RDs have been recognized among the best in the country, and their expertise is reflected in the cost. Regarding insurance coverage, we understand that some policies may limit reimbursement per appointment, but that is determined by your insurer—not by us. Additionally, follow-up sessions are clearly stated in our policies as $90, which you also reviewed, initialed, and signed. We are not aware of any registered dietitian in the industry charging $150 for a 60 minute appointment including a meal plan. It’s simply impossible. We appreciate your feedback, but we stand by our pricing, policies, and the quality of care we provide. Looking at your review history, 70% of your reviews towards businesses are negative as well, citing a clear issue with almost every business you attend. Negative experience: Same as previous negative reviews. Company is very ungrateful for their good customer and inconsiderate. I had an appointment and i had to cancel due to unforseen plans, it was a holiday on a monday so i know they are close so Tuesday morning I emailed them first thing in the morning and my appointment was at 6pm. They said that they would cancel the appintment but will still charge my card because it was less than 1 business day, i understand that part, but i politely asked if they can consider waiving the fee since it was my first time cancelling my appointment less than business day and I've been a very good customer and had quite a few appointments with them that i attended. Unfortunately because they are inconsiderate of their customers they sent my account to collections and i did not know about it until after 4 months later when collection company contacted me for "consecutive non payment" that I did not know about. What happened? My 813 credit score DROPPED to 631 because of this ungrateful company! Will never recommend them to anyone!!!

As with previous negative reviews, in this particular situation, we received an email from you on the morning of your scheduled appointment at 8:26 a.m., indicating that you would not be attending. We promptly attempted to reach out to you to confirm and discuss the cancellation further, by email and phone, but did not receive a response. As a result, we proceeded with the charge as outlined in our policy. Despite multiple attempts to contact you regarding the charge, we did not receive any communication from you, even after our final notice. Non-payment for missed appointments is taken seriously, as it affects our therapists who reserve time for each client. We understand that misunderstandings can occur, and we are always open to discussing a fair resolution if contacted in a timely manner. Unfortunately, after several months of no response, the matter was escalated to collections, in accordance with our signed policy. We are committed to providing excellent service and resolving issues whenever possible, and we regret that we were unable to find a resolution in this case.

Fantastic experience: I started going to Elysian back in October 2024. At first I started with just a basic massage therapy appointment to help with some anxiety, but then it opened up so much more for me. I expanded the services that I take advantage of to include dietitian services, personal training, and chiropractor services. They have truly helped change my life for the positive after dealing with being let down by traditional medicine to deal with my chronic condition, to now dealing with it through diet and exercise. Massage Therapy - Konnor is absolute amazing. He always takes the time to see how I am doing and focusing on areas of concern with every appointment. I always leave after my appointment feeling like a million bucks and will continue to visit him monthly. Dietitian services - What can I say, Krystin has completely changed the way I eat and my life in general. She has been instrumental in my changes both mentally and physically by providing me the best balanced diet I need to feel great. She is absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who asks when they see all the great meals I am eating. Personal Training - Once again Krystin is my go to. How amazing is it to have a combo of both your personal trainer and dietitian being the same person?!? I have been pushed week in and week out to do more, and 3 month later you can see the difference. The week over week of setting new PRs in each exercise is almost turned into a game, but it has helped me significantly with my confidence and my overall health. I enjoy it so much, that I always keep my appointments booked 2 months out to continue seeing Krystin. Definitely give her a try, you will not be disappointed. Chiropractic Services - Alex has helped me tremendously with regaining range of motion through my middle back. During training it was identified that I was having motion issues and that is when I decided to visit Alex. He has been super professional and always knows exactly what is needed in order to help me with my back. Definitely will keep this up. Last but not least, the front desk staff are absolutely amazing. Always very professional, friendly and quick to check you in and out. They are always genuine on asking about your progress and overall how you are doing. If you are looking for a one stop shop for your health services, give this place a try. Ignore all the petty reviews about cancellation fees, it will be worth it!

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience for my first time cold plunging indoors. Way more controlled and comfortable than doing go outdoors in nature. 20 min session in total for $25 (shout out for the trial coupon) max 10 mins in the water so as to avoid harm. You can request the temperature for the tub beforehand. Wish I had done so my self as I wasn’t ready for how cold that was. P.S. They legit seemed to have everything you could think of related to wellness in one spot. Super friendly staff/front desk too.

Fantastic experience: I used the services of Sara Awija who is a registered dietician working from the Elysian Wellness Centre, Bells Corners, location. Sara helped me lose over 20 pounds over an eight month period. The weight loss was easy to accomplish given the food plan that Sara devised. I did not have to radically change what I ate, but rather change portions and what I ate at different times of the day. Sara was always encouraging and helpful in my weight loss program. I would recommend Sara to anyone who wants to seriously lose weight and commit to keeping it off.
Negative experience: Hi, my rating is similar to others posted on the topic. The physio and chiropractor are great. The rating stems from the inflexible business policy. I had an appointment scheduled which I thought I had cancelled until I got the reminder text. I then called right away but was only providing 23 hours 20 minutes notice at that point. I could not attend the appointment but offered to be moved at any other slot. I was still charged the full amount even though there was 24 hours left to fill my slot. For the sake of 40 minutes, they have lost a customer and I will not recommend them to family and friends.

As with most of the negative reviews we receive, the majority stem's from individuals who have been charged for late cancellations and no-shows to a policy that is clearly stated in 5 different areas. You requested a fee waiver due to a work meeting, but unfortunately, this is not considered a valid reason for us to waive the fee, as we must ensure our therapists are compensated for the time that was reserved. Whether you thought you had cancelled it or not, the fact remains that you did not cancel it above the required notice. We do understand your situation, but much like a doctor's appointment, if it were a time-sensitive matter, we trust you would have attended. Our therapists' time is equally valuable, and we lost the opportunity to serve another client by holding that slot open for you. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to fill the appointment on such short notice. Had we been able to, we informed you we have no issue waiving it. We hope you understand that this decision was made to protect the time and income of our therapists, and we cannot take that away based on non-emergency situations. We did lose a customer, but we are ok with that if that means protecting our staffs' incomes and livelihood. To write a 1-star review based on being charged for late cancellation that is clearly stated, with no valid or emergency reason, even though you've had nothing but great service from our staff and clinic, is quite unreasonable. You will encounter this same policy in almost every clinical setting. Cancellation and no-show policies are nothing new. Thank you and we wish you the best of luck.

The clinic is well run, never have issues, friendly staff and do their best to accommodate Even if you're not sure or on the fence, go see him, give it a chance, you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Owing to a shoulder injury I’d been having, I had to visit a physiotherapist for treatment while visiting family in Ottawa in October. I was very pleased with the way Jean Luc handled my injury. He gave me exercises and advice. I visited again in November and was happy to report to him that his treatment had helped immensely.
Fantastic experience: Krysten is an incredible dietitian! She’s honest, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much from her, and the results show in my daily life, overall wellness, and sports performance. After years of struggling and trying countless methods to improve my weight and overall health, Krysten helped me finally reach my goals. I can’t recommend her enough—truly 5 stars!
Fantastic experience: I've been going to see Shawn for my massages for most of this year. It been great. I'm always sore and stiff from the gym and Shawn fixes me right up. The clinic is always clean and the private massage rooms are large so they is lots of space to hang up all my winter nonsense when I come in and it's cold. If anyone needs to relax before Christmas I'd recommend going to see Shawn.

Negative experience: Should be 0. I went there to change my appointment to a new date (in person) and they pretend I didn’t even though I have a proof of that from the email provider. Run away please for you guys. Email provider furnish me this. All they are saying goes against the proofs !!! They prefer loosing customers than admiting something went wrong !! Edit : I called the provider of the emails. The clinic didn’t took the time to double confirm if they send something. They assume things instead of double checking. Long term that’s not worthy. The emails indicate clearly that I didn’t received anything on the 19 November. I did receive the cancellation ones as I agreed on the emails shown. You argument is very questionable. If you did sent something please share it. On top of that I came to your counter and double checked my appointments that’s why I didn’t receive any email. When you come to a counter and you change appointment and the person at the reception confirmed your scheduled appointments you are not supposed to follow daily if you have an appointment. I mean I never heard about it anywhere. The email reminder is a very common practice and is theorically automatic why I didn’t get if that’s the case? Basically everything is your responsibility no matter what. The client is not your enemy is the person that brings your salary and reputation. Modification 30/11/2024: Everything you are saying doesn’t make any sense. I contacted you because you cancelled my future appointments and you sent me an email the 20 November saying You missed your appointment on the 19 November. So from that I called you to have more information. As said above I did receive an email for cancellation and also for missing appointment and paying. I never argue with that. It’s very well said above that I did agree with that. All the issue is that I never received a reminder. That’s mainly why I didn’t make because I came in person the week before and modified in person. So I didn’t call everyday because the person at the reception did confirm the 27 November and the 13 December. I’m also non native speaker English so I show her my phone to make sure we double confirm together the dates and hours. So when I received the cancellation emails I was very confused. So I contacted your email generator company. They clairly said we have nothing on our side. If I’m lying please provide proofs. With proofs you will solve the issue. Please provide me. However, we would like to clarify some details regarding your recent experience with us. You had an appointment scheduled with us on November 20, 2024, along with several others. Unfortunately, you did not attend this appointment, and our team made multiple attempts to contact you, including a reminder call when you did not show up. We also sent several emails after as well. We received no response, and your appointment was marked as a no-show in accordance with our policy, and you were charged for the no-show so our therapist that you were booked in with can be compensated for their time. When you had finally reached back out to us today, you mentioned not receiving a reminder email. After checking our records, we can confirm that a reminder email was sent to you at 9:00 a.m. the day before your appointment, which it sends automatically. While we do send reminder emails as a courtesy, patients are ultimately responsible for keeping track of their appointments. Our policy clearly outlines the charge for missed appointments, which was applied in your case. Our goal is always to provide excellent service and clear communication, but unfortunately in this scenario, this is simply just a case of a forgotten appointment. Had you had proof of an email asking to cancel or reschedule, this would have been shown to us during our interaction with you, and we can 100% confirm there is no such email that was sent. Thank you for your understanding. Edit: The emails you are showing are is you contacting the booking system’s customer support, asking them if we sent you a reminder email on November 19. They clearly indicated that several cancellation emails were sent to you (we had cancelled your future appointments as you also provided us an invalid credit card), and they clearly state the emails were opened, which actually proves to us that you were receiving the emails clearly. They then tell you to contact us directly as there is not much they can help you with. Unfortunately, the only thing this proves is that you have been clearly receiving the emails, and again Mr. Rodrigues, even if you did not get a reminder email, this does not change anything as emails are a courtesy to help people remember their appointments. Ultimately, it is the patient’s duty to keep track of appointments they book in their life, whether it is with us or any other business. Many businesses don’t have such a reminder system in place, therefore unfortunately not receiving an auto reminder email (even though this was not the case) is not a valid reason to no-show to an appointment and request a fee waive, which means we would be taking this pay away from the therapist who’s time was booked. For your comment regarding double checking, the system automatically sends booking emails, this is not done manually. Reply to edit: Your review started off with you did not receive an email reminder, to you emailed to cancel it, to you did not book the appointment, to you now you changed your entire review to you came in person to cancel it. All of which unfortunately are completely false. The reason why your appointments were cancelled were because we cancelled them when we could not get a hold of you after your no-show, and your credit card was invalid. That is when you began to reach back out to us.
Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable and welcoming staff, clean and open environment. Whichever service you do, ( deep tissue massage, chiropractor, IV, cold plunge gym, or saunas, you will leave better than you came.

Physio with Mike has been great, and I appreciate having exercises and coping mechanisms for pain that will help me throughout a time of many physical changes. I’ve also gotten massages, which I enjoy. Front staff is always kind and flexible, and has remembered my name from day one. Fantastic experience: Erica has magical hands! She gives incredible deep massages. She works magic on all of my knots and tight spots. She warms the bed for me so it's nice and cozy when I get in, she uses a hot cloth to melt alway stress and pain during the massage. She's so wonderful! Everyone here is so kind and welcoming!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic place - so many great practioners and therapies all under 1 roof!! Ive used sauna, colc plunge, IV injection and lympathic drainage massage. Amanda (IV injection) is so kind, knowledgeable and prepared. Morgan (massage) is kind and compassionate and really knows her stuff! Front desk staff is kind and accomodating. And a cute office dog Ellie is there to greet you! All therapies are top notch and very clean and well taken care of. Overall love this place and will continue to be a client in every aspect.

This review is due to you being asked to leave for aggressive behavior with 3 of our female admins and manager, and acting aggressively and threatening to hurt them, as well as making sexist comments on top of all of that. You do not threaten females in my clinic, ever. If you have any issues, you pick on a man your own size. Negative experience: Choose elsewhere. Period. * Similar negative reviews were just recently posted (Sept 2024) by many other customers on Facebook in the Kanata groups. Obviously the dissatisfaction with this business goes beyond my single review. UPDATE: The real story, FULLY EXPLAINED to your reception staff, is that I was recovering from cancer at the time, and just out of the hospital that week, and was very weak, too physically weak, to leave home and get to the appointment. I was shocked and disgusted in the absolutely uncaring response and inflexible business practice Elysian ruthlessly exhibited given the extraordinary circumstances I was facing. It spoke volumes about how customers/patients were to be treated. I stand by this review 100%! Fortunately, I have been going to another clinic in the area since then, once I was more recovered. I am again expressing my opinion based on my treatment and others should still remain forewarned! PS. I have never posted anything negative on social media before, never any negative review on any business. Look me up. So before you start falsely accusing me of "spreading negativity" or "hate in my heart" (again condescending and gas lighting the real issue at hand, being inflexible and unreasonable towards someone recovering from a serious illness not capable to keep an appointment and requiring to cancel/reschedule) please do some self-reflection. The way I was treated was blatantly abhorrent and unreasonably inflexible given my valid explanation of my circumstances to your staff. I am still shocked by your continued condescending response. It is very clear that you are playing me and trying to cover up the situation. I have proof of my circumstances, family, friends and acquaintances all know what I was dealing with! It appears that your poor experience stems from the fact you had two, consecutive back to back late cancellations in the same week, with us back on January 30 and February 1, 2023 (so almost 2 years ago), which resulted in unpaid fees that were sent to collections, after we attempted to contact you many times, and sent a final notice letter. On January 30, 2023, your appointment was late cancelled (same day) without a valid reason, and you had informed us you would be at your February 1, 2023 appointment. You then late cancelled that one as well the same day, incurring 2 late cancellation fees. Our policies are in place to ensure fair treatment for all clients and to protect our therapist's time/income, and we take these matters seriously. While we appreciate your perspective, we encourage clients to adhere to our cancellation policies to avoid similar situations in the future. The fact this review is written almost 2 years later is quite perplexing. We really do hope you find a bit more inspiration to spend your time spreading positivity, rather than negativity, 2 years later. We wish you the best! This was not the reason you provided during the cancellation as we take detailed notes of our client interactions and cancellation reasons, and all calls are recorded. Fantastic experience: I have used Elysian for many services and was never disappointed. The facility has a ton of parking upfront, it's clean and very welcoming. Everyone on the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this clinic for all your wellness needs.
Negative experience: Had great experiences with the staff and sessions were great. Issue is the company policies, I understand being strict and making sure people don't cancel and flake appointments, I work with clients and understand the frustration it causes. I am also smart enough to make exceptions and work with the clients you want to keep around. I have shown up for over 12 appointments without issue. The first time I have an issue (Sick with Covid and stuck at home) they force me into an virtual session with no possible option of not getting Charged $130. I feel horrible and have been in bed all day, the last thing I want to do is go on a virtual appointment, If mike ever leaves the clinic would be more than happy to work with him. Not dealing with this companies policies though. Edit: I have worked with multiple health care institutes but none with as strict rules as yours so stop trying to claim you are consistent and not greedy. I work in the same/similar industry and I care more about the health and wellbeing of my clients than to make sure to charge them every second I can. Correct, I missed an appointment for the first time in 4 months because I was sick in bed. Appreciate you guys caring enough to force me on a video call to take my money or take my money if I don't join the call.

In your case, we proposed an option that would allow you to attend your appointment and still receive reimbursement from your insurer. We appreciate your understanding, especially since our admin team had to reach out to you after the appointment time had already passed to confirm your you were not coming. Given the circumstances, we believe the solution provided was both fair and suitable. Thank you again for your review. Many dental offices and practitioners around us have a strict 2 business days or 48 hours cancellation policy, ours is 1 business day from your appointment time. If you worked in the healthcare industry, you would be very well aware of why clinics charge, and most of the fee goes to the practitioner. It’s not about being greedy, it’s about protecting our therapists time against missed appointments, similar to how you enjoy being paid at work for the time you are there. You had no-showed to your appointment, with no heads up given, which does not allow us to care for another patient during that time as well. The admin team offered you a very fair and suitable solution, which you took. We appreciate your view, but our policy is more than fair and in line with every private healthcare facility. We do of course make exceptions to patients for emergencies and other situations, but unfortunately in this situation the solution we were willing to offer considering the situation was fair and suitable. The staff were all super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Mason was especially great. Fantastic experience: Went in for shoulder pain that I’ve been dealing with for years. With just a handful of sessions with Konnor my shoulder feels brand new. He’s very knowledgeable on just the right spots to hit that hold the most tension, and really listens to what the issue is and where you want him to focus on. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience: I started my nutrition sessions because I could not control my weight gain and because my blood sugar was at a pre-diabetic level. Under Sara’s guidance, I lost 25 lb in the first 10 month of counseling, mostly through nutrition (there was a small exercise component). Sara is attentive and knowledgeable in our appointments, and I feel comfortable talking to her about my struggles with nutrition and dieting. Fantastic experience: Sara the dietician is very attentive and knowledgeable. She is always ready to help and does not get inpatient if you have many questions. If one diet does not work she is very happy to try something else. She usually knows why one diet works better than another. She really gets to know what your body needs. I am taking a medication that makes you gain weight and I still lost 16 pounds. She figured that one of my problems was dehydration therefore I started to drink a lot more water. It’s helping me loose more weight and I am a lot less constipated. I am very happy with Sara
