Fantastic experience: We are happy and satisfied with our experience in this clinic. We always visit Dr. Farhat and she is very helpful. And my son and I visit Dr Simran Panesar the cyropractor at the clinic and he is amazing. Our concerns are dealt with and we feel happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: Cornwall medical clinic is the best clinic there is in the GTA. Dr. Farhat is an amazing professional, she will give you all the attention you need and be very thorough in the process. She is always up to help you out. Very detailed and caring with her patients. I am very lucky to have her as my family doctor not only for myself but for my entire family group. Her staff is very accessible and easy to reach. Would definitely recommend her and the clinic

Negative experience: I am surprised to see all the positive comments.. I’d recommend coming here solely to destroy your hope for Canadian health care system. Wait time was extremely long - 2 hour in the lobby and at least 30min to an hour in a room. And now congrats you made it. You now get to see the doctor for less than 30 seconds and expect to be silenced if you ever want to ask questions. You’d also explore numerous opportunities they offer to pay out of pocket - prescription for a massage? Fee if not using someone on-site. Want to see your own blood test results? $2 per page for printing with no option to receive it electronically. What if you are ill? Just pray that you’d survive because your earliest appointment generally is at least a month out. Front desk? Unpleasant, never listen, and worse - doesn’t care. I have decided that I had enough of this nightmare and found a new family doctor.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with Dr. Simran Panesar to rehab my knee and it has been an extremely positive experience! I struggled for years to determine the root cause of my knee pain but was able to pinpoint the issue and get right to rehab with Dr. Panesar. Huge thanks to Dr. Panesar, you have no idea how helpful you’ve been :)

She is, without a doubt, the most genuine and compassionate doctor I have encountered. Negative experience: Lack of care for patients and ridiculous wait times. Appointments wait times is in months. For every appointment or walk in I spent more than 2 -3 hours and I get a dismissive attitude and a doctor who rushes you and can’t even give you 5 minutes.

This includes regularly calling me to check in on health concerns during her own time on the weekend. She is extremely thorough and ensures every area of concern is investigated appropriately. She always refers me to fantastic specialists when needed. I really appreciate how well Dr. Farhat and her staff treat not only me but my kids. They love going to see her and everyone is always so kind! Dr Farhat and her staff work extremely hard and you can tell that they always have their patients top of mind. Fantastic experience: Dr. Farhat has been my doctor for over a decade now and I have never felt more safe with a medical professional. It always starts with a warm smile to start any treatment that I’m in need for and always an honest medical opinion to cure my problems.

Negative experience: I actually thought I was going crazy. The things that happened to me in this "doctor's office" could not be happening in Ontario. The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Then, I read others story, which mirror my experiences in this NIGHTMARE PLACE! Sooner or later this place is going to be on your local news for some horrible reason! This doctor and clinic is the epitomy of INCOMPETENCE

Negative experience: For years the staff at this clinic have been consistently rude, unhelpful, and lacking in basic customer service skills. I have never experienced medical staff who will not even wait for an acknowledgement that you’ve heard them before placing you on a hold, a transfer, or simply hanging up - there is simply a ‘click’ and a dial tone when you try to book a simple appointment. This is especially disheartening when you are ill, or have a medical concern, and you are treated with such disregard and disrespect. If you are not immediately placed on an unceremonious hold, the staff offer no pleasantries whatsoever; they are curt, speak contemptuously, and will happily cut you off (even if you’re in the middle of briefly explaining what you’d like to book an appointment for), and their tone is extremely uncaring and rough for front-of-house staff that are supposed to set the tone of the clinic. If you do manage to book an appointment, they are booked out months in advance, with an expectation of still waiting hours to be seen when you arrive for your scheduled time. I have been a patient of Dr. Farhats for several years, and during that time she has slowly chipped away at my faith in Canada’s medical system. I have watched as my pets at their veterinarian have been treated with more regard, promptness, thoroughness, kindness, and follow-up for their medical concerns than I have ever received from Dr.Farhat as my primary care physician. Several times in the past she has refused to refer me to specialists, for reasons that were never explained. For one of these occasions I managed to secure my own appointment with a specialist by calling the clinic directly, and pleading to them that I was unable to breathe at home. I was diagnosed with several severe allergies, and given prescription allergy medications as well as an inhaler for emergencies incase my throat closed. Dr. Farhat was fine to send me home with nothing, after insinuating that I was being dramatic and looking for attention. I had left her clinic feeling frustrated, dismissed, hurt, and afraid for my health. Because it is so difficult to obtain another doctor in Canada however, I remained with her for several years after that. In this time, I neglected my own health rather than visit Dr.Farhat. I did not go for checkups, and did not address any concerns or issues that cropped up, as Dr. Farhat had begun to foster in me a distrust in medical professionals and the beginning stages of White Coat Syndrome. I would prefer to sit in walk-in clinics for hours if absolutely necessary, rather than attempt to call her clinic or be seen by her, as I knew what terrible treatment I would receive from Dr.Farhat and her staff if I did. As I was collecting my medical records from Dr.Farhat’s clinic this past week, as I had finally had enough of her and her staff, she initiated physical contact with me in the form of a hug. I found this to be extremely unprofessional, and made me feel very uncomfortable in the moment. Why is my doctor, who is in a position of power over me as their patient, initiating an embrace with me as I am attempting to leave their practice? If I did not feel so strongly that I want to just leave this experience behind me, I would lodge a complaint against her with the Canadian Medical Association. I strongly urge anyone looking for a new primary care physician to look elsewhere.

Negative experience: The wait times here are ridiculous. They are open for walk-ins from 9am to 11am. I came to the clinic at 9:30am and waited until 11am to get put in a room to wait again! The doctor came in at 11:05am to tell me she is leaving that she has to go and the assistant will help me. I waited as I needed to see someone, and I waited until 11:50am to get seen by someone. This is ridiculous. How can you run a clinic and take appointments and offer walkins with one doctor on hand and make people wait this long. Terrible practice. I do not recommend anyone going here.

Fantastic experience: We visited this walk-in clinic for the first time. This place is like a well oiled machine, staff is amazing starting with the receptionist to Dr. Farhat. She is really a great physician, she did not rush us at all took the time to explain the findings of her PA and the plan. She is very kind and very empathetic. I went with a very complicated concern, where my family doctor refused to discuss or pay attention to, and all I was getting from her is let's wait and see. Dr. Farhat , took the time, asked me all the questions, and started with investigations. Dr. Farhat does not jump to medications right away, she does make sure that it is really needed, that's what I like about her. It is one of the best clinic in Oakville, the clinic is very clean, and organized, and her staff is amazing, all my friends are her patients, and we are so blessed to have her in the area. I will be returning to her clinic in the hope to become her patient.

Fantastic experience: Dr Farhat is an incredible physician. She is passionate about medicine, caring and committed to her patients and works around the clock to serve those in need. She offers walk-in and other medical services at the clinic such as routine blood work and on-site cardiology. She follows-up with patients in a timely manner, she is incredibly professional and knowledgeable and she makes her patients feel heard and respected. She speaks a number of languages and is inclusive. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dr Farhat kept the clinic open throughout COVID-19 and connected with patients via phone, as needed. Wait times are reasonable given the demands on the medical system and less support provided for family doctors. I have recommended family and friends to her practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farhat is the most kind, caring, responsive, and accessible primary care doctor my wife and I have ever had—and that includes our 40+ years living in the United States and our 15 years in Canada. Because she has open office hours every morning except Sunday (something we never experienced in the US where appointments were always needed), we can see her just about any day we need to. While her office is busy, she always makes time to see us, listens carefully, and ensures we get the care and referrals we need. One thing that never ceases to amaze me, is that whenever Dr. Farhat orders tests for us, we are sure to get a phone call from her later in the week (often on her day off, Sunday) to learn the results. If referrals are necessary, those are processed right away. With Dr. Farhat we know our care is in good hands. She's a wonderful doctor who clearly loves what she does and puts her patients first. My only concern with Dr. Farhat is that I worry she works too hard!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Doctor Farhat for more than 10 year . First and foremost , she possesses an excellent bedside manner . Fantastic experience: The best clinic I've ever been to!Dr Farhat and her staff are very professional and polite. Dr Farhat listens attentively to my health concerns and takes her time during my appointment, whether walk in or appointment. The clinic offers a number of other health services as well such as blood tests, physio, chiropractor, massage, psychotherapy and dietician.

Negative experience: I moved to Dr. Farhat's practice 2 years ago. Since then, every single one of my appointments has started late - almost always by 30 minutes and sometimes close to an hour. The front desk staff has a high turnover and are not always on the ball. The head nurse (I'm not sure what her name is as she never introduces herself) is extremely cantankerous and grumpy at every visit. Today, my infant had a wellness check and the appointment was delayed by 40 minutes. Although, Dr. Farhat has a pleasant manner when the appointment actually starts, all these other factors create an overall unpleasant experience each time. I will be searching out a new practice at my earliest convenience.

Negative experience: I'm quite surprised as these positive reviews. I found her quite judgemental and a bit arrogant and couldn't always find the root cause of things. I have gone for second opinions twice and have gotten the right answer form the ER and another doctor I work with professionally. In another case, I asked for stronger medication from the onset and she refused until things go so very bad, she had to concede and finally give it to me (making it all worse as then I had been exposed to unnecessary treatments). Dr. Farhat also doesn't take responsibility for the unprofessional behaviour of her team (chiropractor, etc.) that she brings in-house and almost coerces you to take on for the benefit of her medical clinic. This is not okay. When my family and I needed prescriptions for physio and chiro at various times, she would almost always give it in a way that you felt you had to hire her local chiropractor/team in her office and had no choice if you wanted the prescription. As a result we had one of the worse experiences; Dr. Savreet Saini who worked with her and who we were coerced into hiring was very unprofessional (she would regularly try to reschedule appointments because she wanted them all stacked together so she didn't have to wait regardless of her clients schedules, she got us to pay for things beyond the prescription for her personal benefit - she gets a cut from shoe soles). We heard Dr. Savreet Saini is now suspended. After this, when I went back to Dr. Farhat for another prescription and she agreed to give me one due to my medical condition, as I departed the front staff refused to give it to me unless I hired one of their on-site people. I said I wanted just the prescription as it is my basic right to medical service and then the staff member had to ask Dr. Farhat if that was okay and Dr. Farhat rolled her eyes and grudgingly agreed. This is not okay.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farhat is the best doctor I have come across. My family and I are so blessed to have her as our doctor, we are so grateful to her. She is a leading example of a true physician who cares about the well being of her patients, she is a blessing. Thank you to Dr. Farhat and her team they are all truly amazing human beings .

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farhat - She is excellent. She is family doctor for my kids. My 10 month old was sick before the family day long weekend. Dr. Farhat has been so loving and caring. Unbelievable that over the weekend when the fever was not breaking, I wrote an email to her office as was concerned if should take my baby to ER. Within 5 minutes of my email , I got a call from doctor who understood the situation and prescribed medicines accordingly. It did not stop there. She called on a day later (holiday) to follow up and check on how my little one is doing. Missed here call and she again called up next day. The important thing to see here is how much passionate she is on ensuring her little patient is doing good. Thanks doctor . Have been to mutiple family doctors but have not see the care commitment and compassion you have!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Farhat has been someone that has shown me a level of care you don't find often anymore. Her support is critical to my recovery during this very hard time. I honestly am so glad I walked into this office to get help. She shows a level of compassion and willingness to take time with you. This was exemplified during the pandemic years when her support was dearly felt not only from the aspect of medical care, but more importantly from a mental health perspective. In those very tough days it was reassuring to know that your family doctor is there for you and for your family. Calling you by phone for a consultation, or for prescription refills, when everything was locked down. My heart really went to those who went through those days without someone like Dr. Farhat, it must have been tough on them. Her staff are always very helpful and welcoming and regular blood work can be drawn in the clinic which is an added bonus. May God bless her and her staff.

Positive experience: I came here with a terrible throat issue - could barely swallow or eat and very painful. The doctor quickly assumed it was strep throat and took some swabs to confirm which took a few days to receive results for. In this time my throat got much worse. They called me and told me it was not strep, and that I'd have to come in for more swabs to see what it was. I asked how long it would take to get in for these swabs, they said another week. I think I might have withered away after that much time, not to mention excruciating pain. They said there wasn't really any more they could do at that time. Frustrated, I went to another walk-in clinic and within 2 minutes of looking at my throat she knew exactly what to prescribe me, I got it right then, and within 3 days I was completely better. If I had stuck with Cornwall Medical Centre, I would have dealt with the excruciating pain for another week and a half at least. Overall, unhappy with the attention given. However, the place looks very nice and was very clean, and the staff were generally friendly.

I've searched for a good knowledgeable and caring Doctor for 11 years in the gta. Suffered from a medical condition that many doctors took lightly and didnt offfer the right resources and referals, until I found Dr.Gloria Farhat who was kind and did everything in her power to help me. I travel from ajax to oakville to see Dr.Farhat and couldn't be happier everytime to make my way to her office. Her clinic is always spotless and very organized. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient.

Fantastic experience: Dr Farhat is my family's physician. She is an amazing doctor - so knowledgable, friendly and approachable. She really takes the time during appointments and I never feel rushed - this is also probably why wait times can be a few hours if you come in as a walk-in. But i am fine with that because I know that she gives her full attention and care for each person. The only negative is that it is difficult to get an appointment (sometimes you have to wait several weeks). So if I want to be seen quickly I go as a walk-in. She is the first doctor I've had that is so hands on with her patients. She sometimes answers the phone and books appointments! She has also called me on weekends to provide updates on test results. Positive experience: Walk in clinic only open 9am-noon which is super short hours for a walk in, went for an ear flush and waited 2 hours for not even 5 minutes of their time to flush my ear out. Place wasn’t busy either they maybe went through 20 appointments / walk ins during the time I was there. The service after I got in to get my ear flush was excellent and their after service follow ups were also very professional and well done. If it wasn’t for wait times would highly recommend this clinic

Fantastic experience: Our guardian angel. Dr. Farhat has been our family doctor since the middle of 2013. That includes my mother, our two children plus my wife and myself. For those eight plus years she was, as I call her, our guardian angel. She saw my mom through her cancer journey, from early diagnosis mainly due to Dr. Farhat’s dedicated and sincere advice to keep doing the mammogram to the very last recommended age (my mother’s cancer was discovered through her last recommended mammogram when she was 69 and it was Dr. Farhat that almost insisted my mom did it). She saw me through a knee surgery again from diagnosis to the end (MRI requisition followed by referral to the specialist all the way to after surgery). Her commitment to her patients is unparalleled in my view, particularly during the pandemic. When she called one SUNDAY morning to discuss our health needs over the phone, I was in owe and I seriously felt bad for her that she was basically working on a Sunday to help her patients out, and my appreciation for her grew even more. She was always willing to refer the patient to the specialist if it is warranted, that has never been a problem in our experience. Her office is always welcoming and she is gifted in picking her staff. Very friendly personnel going the extra mile to help out, blood work can be conveniently drawn in the office rather than going to a separate lab. Even when we moved out of the area, we kept going back to her from our faraway location as she is truly our guardian angel.

Negative experience: Long waits if you are a walk-in . Their doctors see their patients first before walking. Expect hours if you walk-in . No indication of wait times. I was told I was third on the list. 2.5 hour wait.

Negative experience: Even thou Dr Farhat was in the office during her posted business hours and not busy, she had refused to spend 2-3 minutes with us because of "liability" issues. It's outrageous! These days most of the doctors do not care about patients.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Dr. Farhat for nine years now and I can say that she is the best doctor I have ever had in my 65 years. She is kind, understanding, and truly cares for her patients. I can always count on her to be straight forward with me, and to consider all the possibilities and explore all avenues of treatments before recommending drugs or surgery. I think the fact that her clinic includes alternative medicines such as a naturopath, physiotherapy, and massage therapy, etc., attest to her openness to treat her patients proactively. When I have an appointment, I have only once had to wait an hour to see her. I also appreciate her walk-in clinic which allows me to see her more quickly if it is an emergency that can be dealt with outside the hospital.

Negative experience: Worst clinic in oakville. It took 2.5 hours to see my girlfriend just to get a prescription for strep throat. I know more about strep throat than the doctor here. Fantastic experience: Nilesh Patel, physiotherapist and message specialist has completely corrected shoulder problems resulting from chronic issues and a recent fall on ice. Two of the 4 rotator cuff muscles/tendons were badly torn and he was able restore complete painless function. He so well understands the interconnectedness of the bodies muscles and so effectively works on related muscles. He is an outstanding therapist to whom I have referred some of my friends who were similarly very pleased

Fantastic experience: My last GP physician retired and I thought that I would never find anyone as good as her. I have been so blessed and grateful for having found Cornwall Medical Clinic and Dr. Farhat. She is an exceptional and extremely caring doctor and I love her proactive approach. She continues to do annual physicals for her patients when many physicians have stopped with the provincial cuts. She did raise concerns about my blood sugar numbers when I first met her (family history of diabetes and my previous GP never mentioned the increasing trend of my blood sugars). Through diet, exercise and the great dietician in Cornwall Medical, I've been managing my blood sugar readings really well. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Farhat.

Me and my family have been to her in severe-severe pain and worst conditions, every time she has made sure the test, treatment or even referrals are done asap, she always follow up by calling you until you are completely out of pain, which is such a rare-find care and dedication in doctors these days. My childrens who are 8 & 12, they love Dr. Gloria too much as well because they say she is very nice and the way she talks to them, makes them feel very special. Even during this difficult time of the year she doesn't shy away from accommodating each and every patient's need. Her reputation is also really very good in other diagnostic centres as well. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Farhat since she opened the clinic. Not only is she very patient but she is also very good at her job. She has helped me through so many health issues and continues to monitor me to ensure that I remain healthy and stable regardless of how stubborn I can be. I am truly grateful and thankful to have found such a caring knowledgeable doctor. I recently was referred by her to an optometrist to check the health of my eyes. Luckily trusting and having faith in her has resulted in the optometrist finding an issue with my eyes. I am now being referred to a specialist.
