New Age Laser Clinic

Positive experience: Went for laser hair removal. A friend recommended them because they use the type of laser that can different darker skin from dark hairs. Done only 1/6 treatments so far & it seems okay. The staff are nice but don’t seem to work with the same database. I did my consultation with one lady, booked my session & got treated by a different lady. The treatment lady didn’t have any context or information about me, my consultation or treatment recommendations. I literally had to provide all that info as if i hadn’t been there before.

Negative experience: Owners are very rude and greedy. More concerned about getting money from you than good results from your service.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client here for around 10 years with many different services. I first started going here for laser hair removal on my legs. Katrina was so welcoming and professional. Having this service done 10 years ago and still having hairless legs has been amazing! I have been receiving botox and filler here with Kasia for around 3 years. I love how she listens to me and ensures that I look natural but also to prevent future wrinkles coming in. My lips are always well done and not overly done. I have been so happy and will always come back. I highly recommend Kasia and this spa to everyone that asks where I go. I have sent many friends there and they always are so happy and rave about their experiences.

Negative experience: First time trying Botox and spent over $600 for my forehead to look the same. Only worked in the middle of my eyebrows but is already starting to go away after 1 month. Upset to waste my money for no improvement

Fantastic experience: Sheema is the best! I was SO happy with my laser hair removal results. I have very thick hair and even just after the first appointment I was already seeing incredible results. She really cares and ensures that the machine is turned up enough so that you always see results after each session. She is also lovely to talk to and time always flies by quickly during a session! Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: This place was a joke I really got disappointed, i paid for a package for laser hair removal bikini area as i got 9 sessions without seeing any result just a waist of time and money , when i told her there is no result maybe i can get discount or something, she recommended to get a another package to maybe see a better result , that was very disappointed and unprofessional as she uses 2007 old laser machine , i am not recommended this place at all and it doesn't worth to have more than one star.

Fantastic experience: Thankyou New Age Laser Spa.I can't believe I waited this long too get botox done.The procedure didnt hurt, and the full effects set in by day 4. I will continue to go get it on a regular basis because I love it!! The injector didn’t go overboard - just gave me enough to soften everything. My botox was done by an amazing injectionist at new age laser spa. I never have that frozen looK. I finally found someone who views the process as an art and a craft! Seriously, I love it. And I have less headaches, total extra bonus!

Fantastic experience: I go there to get my laser hair removal done and am seeing excellent results. I find the staff knowledgeable and very professional. I have also tried the Detox Body Wrap which is really amazing. I would recommend this spa to any one who wants to treated cordially and wants feels great along with results.

Negative experience: Honestly I'm very disappointed with my results after 8 treatments of laser hair removal. I hardly see a difference, if anything my hair is just more patchy now. I was made to believe the results would be a lot better. When I mentioned how I still have a lot of hair they just tried to sell me more treatments...I feel like I just wasted my money. The technition was really nice and professional, but I am still just very disappointed with the end result. And I am not a very hairy person so I can't imagine how this would work for anyone. Save your money ladies.

Fantastic experience: I went to New Age Laser and received laser treatment for a nail infection after doing extensive research on multiple clinics. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the fast and effective results! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming – they treat you like family. I had an amazing experience with Sheema, who was very friendly, knowledgably and was accommodating to my schedule. I have told all my friends and family about this clinic, and I highly recommend anyone who wants excellent service to come here. Definitely the best clinic I’ve been to and I can’t recommend it enough!

Negative experience: I started there last year, I did 10 treatment,but it is still same. there is no change on my body .I was with Sheeyma and she is really nice kindly . She gave me some promises when I said there is no change on my body.However when my all treatment are done i went to tell them there is no change i want to somefree treatment because they promised that ,,but the boss of this place so so rude. I DO NOT LIKE THERE AND NEVER ADVISES THERE!!! Please save your money!!!! I did this mistake BUT PLEASE YOU DO NOT DO IT...and I am really so sorry why i went there...

Fantastic experience: I am a regular customer of New Age , Kitchener and I am very satisfied by the exceptional service I receive from Sheema. She is very professional in her work. She patiently took time to explain to me the treatment options in detail according to my skin type. The prices are best in the region. The machines used are state of the art and ambiance is very nice. I would highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: Folks,spread the word and please stay away from this place!!! The staff claims to be knowledgeable, however apparently has no idea what she is doing. The whole place is a scam. I have done laser hair removal with extremely poor results. The technician tried to convince me into purchasing another package to get better results. However, prior to starting laser hair removal, I was told that I was the perfect candidate for laser, which means white skin, dark coarse hair. After spending lots of time and money there, I ended up almost as hairy as I was prior to the treatment.

Negative experience: save your money ladies, and avoid this clinic. they will scam u of ur money and barely give u the results u want. I’ve got a laser hair removal treatment here, and the lady only did three swipes on my face and told me that I was good. I still had hair growing back and looked like literally nothing changed. She told me to come back again 5 more times. I paid $110 for basically nothing. who gave this lady a license. ‍♀️

Fantastic experience: I have been going to New Age Medical Spa since July 2018 for my laser hair removal needs and I couldn’t be happier with the service and the results! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and super professional. They always see me on time, always answer the phone when I call, and kindly send me reminder emails regarding my appointments well in advance to ensure there are no scheduling issues. They also have the best prices in town (I shopped around!!!) and they offer many packaged deals, which save you even more! And even with the great price point, they never sacrifice on quality as they use only the top of the line and most up to date equipment and tools. I will have my last laser treatment this month and am very happy with both the treatment process (quick and painless) and the overall results (no more hair - yay)! I plan on using their other services next including facials, manicures etc. as I have heard great reviews on those services as well. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience for my hair removal in my chin, going for my sixth visit, with still hair coming out. the technitian, that I always found to be amicable did not check the machine, and burned my skin, now I have an scar that i was not looking for. I feel very dissapointed.! Many of us will pay to get spot removal. I paid for hair removal and GOT A SCAR!!

Fantastic experience: I first started removing my facial hair at one of the most popular hair removal places in Waterloo. However, I felt very uncomfortable there because the owner and certain employees made some odd comments about how dark my skin was. With those comments, I switched over to this spa! Sheema is fantastic and makes sure you have a comfortable experience. I highly recommend this place to any people of color because their lasers do work on darker skin tones! (Before and after below)

Negative experience: I booked an appointment here after reading the great reviews. Arrived for my appointment on time and after waiting 20 minutes past my scheduled time, I asked the receptionist and was told to go grab a coffee since it was going to be another 30-minute wait, that's when I decided to leave and reschedule as I do not have an hr to wait around. The receptionist said she will call to confirm for an appointment that was 3 days after, but I never received any calls. Obviously it happens that sometimes appointments run behind schedule, but when it's an hr behind, you should let people know ahead of time so they can come later/reschedule instead of waiting at the spa for an hr.

I originally came to New Age Medical Spa and Laser Hair Removal upon a friend's advice, and tip, about an occasional deal rate with an installment plan for laser hair removal on my face and chin region and never regretted on signing up. I do plan to return once the dark hair is gone as I have to then work on white hairs resistant to laser but not though electrolysis! Another service that this boutique offers also with competitive rates. AGAIN! It's those rates that always puts this boutique clinic spa at the top of the list above other boutiques in this area of Kitchener-Waterloo. They are kind. considerate and will work with you if you're on a tight budget. All I can say is don't ignore this spa boutique as they are always on the cutting edge and always upgrading their facilities.

Fantastic experience: I went to New Age Laser and Medical Spa for the first expecting it to be a typical spa, but I was surprised to find it a very cosy, warm and friendly place. It was a very clean and organized place. The spa staff were extremely friendly and informative.They gave me honest opinions and information for what should get done.I was amaze at how much time they gave me. I has jus gone in apprehensive to get some laser hair removal done but got so much information that I am satisfied now and know what to expect as a result. They have the latest machines and really professional team members.Now I know if I ever have any service needed I know New Age is the place I will go to.

Negative experience: I too regret giving them my money. I am currently getting laser treatment just finished 8 session and well I too get the standard that's weird. I am also doing other areas and well let's just say the owner will rip you off any chance she can she's rude and lacks very basic customer service skills. I wish I've never started going to this place. Once my sessions are complete never again. I'd rather pay more somewhere else.

Negative experience: The "owner" woman was so rude and pushy. She was fighting on the phone with someone when I came in and just ignored me while I stood there. As if I was bothering her. Unfortunately, I had already paid to get my laser services…which, was a complete waste of time and money. The technician treats you like a number and the whole place is just a big scam. I have recommended friends not to go there. Will not be seeing a dime out of me ever again.

I am in the Kitchener/Cambridge area typically 2-3 times during the week for business, have a busy schedule and try to efficiently manage my days. After much procrastination I finally got to the point to get laser treatment procedures on my back and timed it before the holidays/vacation. I never really did to much research on laser and decided to leave that up to a specialist. Searched for spas in the Cambridge/Kitchner, called New Age to inquire about the procedure and get an idea for cost. I value a business/people that focus on the client experience and do it form the heart. The name caught my attention, gave them a call...was very impressed with their approach. I introduced myself as a first timer to their spa and the specific treatment. The lady was very informative, patient and took the time to educate me, explain the process along with the costs all over the phone. I was offered a free consultation which included a test on my back which they showed me first hand what is involved and described expected results. I have been to a few spas over the years for facial treatments etc and have only expected a zen like experience. This spa delivers. Feels warm and inviting, the people there are sincere. I felt a lot of positive energy in the environment. Combined with my results to date I truly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a positive experience. v
