Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Boomerang Health for OT & SLP Services. OT: With Vanessa’s help our kiddo has achieved more gains than we could have imagined. She is patient, caring and passionate about helping children achieve their potential. We are grateful for all she has done to help our kiddo overcome challenges and be the best he can be. SLP: Dianne has taken the time to get to know our kiddo and use his interests to connect with him. Her strategy has really paid off. He is engaged and excited to show up every week. When he arrives he is ready to get to work because Dianne makes therapy fun. We’ve seen so much progress in a short amount of time.
Negative experience: Right before any questions the lady on the phone asked for a credit card. I have never seen any organization greedier than this.

Fantastic experience: Doctor's and support staff are kind and professional. The office is always running smoothly. The above ground parking is a nightmare, but there is lots of parking underground.
Positive experience: I am giving 3 stars because of amazing doctors they have. Dr Poonam and Dr Madhavi are amazing, their admin however suck big time. Our appointment was cancelled just being late for a couple of minutes after letting us wait for 45 mins and then giving the news (punishment) and on the 2nd occasion, appointment was cancelled again because we aparantly didn’t RECONFIRM the appointment in the reminder email. This drives me nuts especially when there’s a minimum travel of 50 mins involved. No courtesy calls, no use of capitals, colour coded or please confirm in the title of the email, yet the audacity.
Negative experience: Carolyn Davidson, clinical manager, is not a nice woman to deal with. We will be leaving boomerang health because of her. They overcharge for services as it is and expect you to be able to move appointment times around or cancel last minute but when a client tries to cancel for a legitimate reason they deny it and try to charge you anyway. She was unsympathetic and rude to my situation and I spent thousands of dollars here.
Fantastic experience: the best pediatric clinic. minimal wait times, professional and compassionate nurses, admin, doctors. Extremely clean and pleasant experience overall. From the moment you are greeted, to booking the next appointment (EVERY doctor my children have seen have been AMAZING). SO grateful to be at a clinic like Boomerang.

Positive experience: I saw two pediatricians here for my two sons. They were both amazing and super nice. I saw the gastroenterologist and she was soooo stuck up and condescending. It was very unpleasant to deal with.
Negative experience: We have been there a few times and our visits never last more than a few minutes even when I need to discuss my concerns. My son is autistic so we have many issues with his eating and the specialist at this center believes we don’t need to go to her if my son is constipated and a visit to our family doctor would be sufficient when actually our family doctor referred us to her! The only good thing out of this visit was a test to make sure he had no stomach bugs. Not the best kids’ clinic in my experience.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst Dr. office I have ever encountered. Takes months to get an appointment from an internal referral. You need to follow up with them regularly and hope you get to talk to a person or your message will never be answered. This place is everything wrong with our healthcare system.
Fantastic experience: Just like sick kids, but not downtown! I love this place. I do not miss the drives downtown for appointments; tests and procedures, sure, but appointments YES! The front desk staff is competent, helpful and polite. My appointments come with reminders which I find extremely helpful. Easy enough to find parking. I hear there is underground parking but I haven't had to find it yet (knock on wood) Doctors here at this clinic are wonderful. I've seen so many specialists and have had regular appointments for my children. Shout out to dr. Moharir who is absolutely wonderful! And another shoutout to the staff who make boomerang run successfully! Thanks.
Fantastic experience: This clinic has really organized and professional staff including the front desk and the nurses
Negative experience: This clinic doesn't deserved any star actually!!! If you want to book an appointment you have to wait for 3 months or so! Or they will never answer any of your call or inquiry at all!!! If you are running a clinic make sure you can accommodate all your patient!! Or try to reply on any of the email!! But once you make a complaint or asking them a question they will just tell you that there's a lot of patient! A lot of patient? I never see any line up in your clinic!!! Also there is no costumer service or front desk that will answer your phone call,. The operator will tell you to press the line, that you don't even know!! And I don't even know the name of the pediatrician because you have a random doctor in your clinic!! Just close your clinic!! I hope the health care organizations in Ontario should do something about this clinic pretends to be clinic!! But actually they just accomodate those patient who pay for there extra services!! Like those rehab and so!!!!

Fantastic experience: My daughter broke her leg in 2 places and her ankle from hockey. Dr Katchky was amazing and my daughter still raves about him 4 years later. He really knows his stuff and has a great rapport with kids. Highly recommend him to any child with a sport injury.

Negative experience: Please note that as per IPAC public health guidelines, your clinic needs to provide masks to patients at no cost. It’s also rather comical that the receptionist on the right side of the desk as you are facing them, is always massless or wears her mask on her chin. The clinic also does not meet many IPAC guidelines leaving much room for improvement with cleanliness.

Negative experience: Has a paediatrician office and the only way to communicate and speak to someone live is leaving a message or email and waiting for a call back is disgusting. I should be able to call my child’s dr office and someone should be able to answer. So frustrating that I have to wait for a call back that takes forever.

Negative experience: I rated two stars just because my son’s Paediatrician is amazing. She’s very patient and knowledgeable. However, the only problem I have with this location is that no one answers the phone. I’ve tried several times with no luck. I always have to email to get assistance from someone which is 1-2 days later. I really think staff should be answering phones because when parents call most times it’s an urgent matter.
Fantastic experience: I love this clinic. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our doctor always listens to every concern I have and takes time to answer my questions. I only wish this place was a little bit closer to our home

Negative experience: I was referred out to this clinic after I took my child to Sick Kids for chronic pains. After speaking to a doctor and a social worker, we were discharged with a diagnosis of somatization, and a referral to Boomerang for further treatment. We trekked our way from downtown, met with the doctor, and left being told they would send a list of resources to help. I thought maybe these resources would be low-barrier therapy services, or perhaps therapy covered by Sick Kids. Instead these "resources" were breathing exercise (which we already do), a self-help book about raising a "sensitive" child, and sites about anxiety. None of this helps treat somatization. What a waste of time.
Negative experience: My child was seen by doctor Kolitin in order to help us with my child's growth issues. This doctor's attitudes toward the patients are extremely unprofessional. The only thing I can say is that in Canada we have lower health care standards because these doctors know that as long as the patient enters their office they get paid anyways and therefore they don't even bother to put effort to help the patient. This doctor specifically has a very poor attitude and lacks knowledge. Do not waste your time seeing him. Avoid!
Negative experience: Had my babys referral accepted on March 16th. Waited a week then called to follow up and see when we would be able to book an appointment. Didn’t hear back, waited another week, followed up again via email and voicemail. It is now May 22, still never heard back. Just ridiculous
Fantastic experience: Had a great experience. The doctors and nurses listened to our concerns and didn’t make us feel rushed. The clinic was clean and friendly. We are so thankful to have found this clinic!

Negative experience: I don't where to begin or what to say about the health care system over here!! It's a disaster and very disappointing!! If a child needs immediate help we don't know where to take them!! If their pediatrician or family physician are not available all the time!! Giving appointments after months!! You know you can't just go to the emergency of a hospital for everything!! Sometimes you need an urgent mental health advise or behavioral management advice or so many other examples that the children might experience specially after the pandemic!! They tell you that you are supported!! Where is the support!! I don't see anything!! No support not even by giving appointments and try to listen and care about people's children concern!! Then what will happen if this child grows up without guidance and help!! While the parents did everything they could to help!! Who to blame here!! I am just sick of the health care system in general!! It's not even a standard one how can it be a good one!

Negative experience: Since this pandemic started this office has been horrible and just a joke. No voicemails returned, I don't understand how other drs, nurses and people working and these drs can't see a child... We haven't heard or seen our pediatrician its been other drs that I have no idea who they are. After 3 phone appts nothing was given to my child and I rushed her to the hospital in the middle of the night turned out she had Pneumonia (only 2yrs old) and dr told me lucky I came in when I did. My oldest now has had a bad allergy and still just a phone appt. Dr tells me it's viral and she will send a prescription to the pharmacy, it's the next day still nothing at the pharmacy and this is not the first time again. Everything seems to be viral btw. I keep trying to give this clinic and these drs a chance but my children's health is not a joke and I'm done with this. Sad I referred families here.
Negative experience: Extremely bad service, they don't answer call you leave a voice mail to make appointments and they don't get back to you all the time. They change your appointments without notifying you and when you show up to your appointment the doctor can't see your child as the staff changed the appointment. An amazing doctor Dr. Gordener move to this location and that is why we started going there but now that he has retired and no longer works at the location there is no reason to go there as the current doctors are similar like the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend not to take your kids there.
Negative experience: What horrible service, I had a conference all with Dr. Cynthia Popalis on October 16 it was her idea to get blood work done for my son and advised , that she would have her secretary send me the blood requisition it is now January 6th and still nothing. I wasn't going to wait for them as I left messages and emails and not even a reply back my sons pediatrician took control and helped my son. I wish I can make tons of money on a conference call and then do nothing.
Negative experience: My daughter had a phone consultation on Nov 5 and we were supposed to get a prescription and blood works form after the call. Till date we are still waiting, and we've have been calling the clinic for the past 3 weeks. No one picks up nor call back. I'm not sure what they mean by “Healthier Children and a Better World” and that you can count on us
Positive experience: Dr. Madhavi Moharir was thorough, not rushed and I thought she was a great doctor. The only complaint about this place is getting someone to pick up the phone.
Negative experience: My son’s paediatrician was semi-retired, so he transferred to this clinic before fully retiring. I called them about a flu shot appointment, made the appointment. Then 30 minutes later, I realized I was double booked, so I called and no answers as usual. This is something common for this clinic. The first appointment we had at this clinic, there was an accident on Jane Street and pouring rain, I kept calling before the clinic closed and no one answers the phone. I got there whenever I could and luckily the doctor was still there. The doctor’s old clinic was excellent at answering the phones and giving good customer service. On top of that his old office was always busy and filled with children. Even Kidcrew is way busier than this place and someone manages to answer the phone. I kept calling for a week and no one answered nor got back to me. I gave up and decided I will go whatever time I can but it worked out. Nobody got back to me. I miss the doctor’s old office, thankful my son isn’t an infant anymore because I don’t think I can count on this place for anything else but checkups. Also, the three times I went to Boomerang, the place is not even busy.
Negative experience: I was very disappointed today when it took over two hours for the reception to answer the phone. I wanted to bring my child in to see his Pediatrician. The lines open at 8:30 am and someone answered the phone at 10:15 am. When I asked why it takes so long to answer the phone, in order to make an appointment, I was told that she was the only person answering the phone and registering patients at the same time. When I spoke to the manager Caroline, I was given the excuse that there has been a turnover in staff recently. That’s the excuse I got. Poor customer service. Very disappointed since this facility is associated with sick kids, one of the well-known and well-respected hospitals around the world. It’s very disappointing and frustrating to deal with ignorant people who are the face of this facility. I’m sure the doctors are fantastic, but your staff is terrible. I’ve been with this Pediatrician for 35 years and not once have I ever been treated this way by his former office and staff. Boomerang, in my opinion is about quantity and not quality. Unfortunately, you’ve lost a patient. Extremely disappointed.
Fantastic experience: We had a GREAT experience at Boomerang Health! The staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter saw Dr. Katchky who is amazing! It’s nice to go to a Dr.’s office where everyone is so professional and willing to help! I would recommend Boomerang Health to anyone!
Fantastic experience: Boomerang is where I go for all my children's specialist appointments. I make my doctor send all my children’s referrals to Boomerang because we are able to see specialists with minimal wait times. Every doctor we have seen at Boomerang has been professional and very knowledgeable and the staff treat their patients and their parents respectfully and professionally. They always phone with reminders of your appointment. My doctor thanked me for telling him about Boomerang, as he has sent many of his patients there after I told him about it and their parents were very grateful and thankful for referring them there. I’m very thankful for having a great clinic available that I can go to where I know my children are going to receive the best care!
Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Boomerang Health Clinic. The staff are so friendly and kind and always make my children feel so comfortable. I never have to wait long to be seen which I love. Dr. Fume is amazing with all four of my children and I am extremely pleased with her. I highly recommend this clinic!!!!
Negative experience: It's OK for vaccination and regular check up. But Impossible to book for urgent cases (NEVER NEVER EVER). They always recommend to go to Urgent care (walk-in clinic type). Or they say "Doctor is available two weeks after". Our ex-doctor always took care of urgent cases in-between scheduled patients even with his super busy schedule, but he was retiring, so moved to Boomerang Health which provide a such bad service as kids health care. Very hard to reach phone call. Average 1 out 5 times they pick up the phone (or you have to more then 10 times to reach them) and their answer is "why don't you go to Urgent Care in the plaza"
Negative experience: The flu clinic has no respect for people with kids. It’s not first come first serve and they prioritize familiar clients first rather than processing in sequence.
Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Dr. Ryan Katchky — if you’re looking for a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon. He is well versed with sports which is comforting to children dealing with a sport injury. The front desk receptionist has always been very helpful and pleasant to deal with. It may take a while to get an initial appointment but once you’re in they will take care of you. I also appreciate the reminder text messages.
Negative experience: My daughter had a speech assessment at this clinic. I had to bring her 3 year old sister along and as the speech pathologist is walking us to the door my 3 year old fingers get squished at the door and she was crying for help. Rather than letting me go help my child, the lady was super calm and still trying to talk to me. Excuse me my daughter needs me hello. Then I rush to get help from a nearby clinic this is now 2:30pm and I start getting calls from the staff to ask to return before 4pm to make payment for the session same day. No question about my daughters well being whatsoever just about the $$. This is a very insensitive, cold and they didnt show any sympathy for the traumatic experience.
Negative experience: The specialist here did not help my child in anyway. It's a complete waste of time, energy, and tax payers' money. If you have been referred here, ask to be referred somewhere else, don't waste your time here.
Negative experience: Dr. Cynthia Popalis is absolutely useless, all she can do is solve your child's reflux (her word) and my child doesn't even have reflux. Don't know how this kind of people become doctor. Spare yourself the trouble and find a better GI specialist.
Negative experience: One of my worst experience ever Worst specialist (honestly I'm questioning my self when saying specialist) We were referred there through our pediatrician seeking some technical advise for my 10 years old CP son. The Neurologist asked me: "tell me how can I help you? What do you want me to do?"...... Seriously? You are the physician not me. I came to you seeking your knowledge!!!!! Then we met a paediatric aurthopedic who end up telling me in front on my two kids and my wife that my son (who was listening) will never improved at all unless there was a miracle! We asked what we can do to prevent any of deterioration? He said: nothing, he will get worse and he does not worth it! Again my son was listening to him talking like this. Finally he send us with another referral to see a another doctor at Boomerang also. We went out stunned of what he said especially that it contradict with. Every single other physician we saw before! And when I received his glorious notation it was full of mistakes chronologically, physically and technicalities. One month later, we came to see the doctor that he referred us to, who I discovered when I was waiting that she is a general consultant only and there was no single reason justify such referral. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic They keep on dragging you back and forth to milk you as a cow with absolute no experienced physicians taking advantage of our wrecked health care system I will be pursuing complaints against them with Ontario college of surgeon and with the ministry of health.
Fantastic experience: Amazing Facility!!!!! I can't praise them enough. I have used Boomerang for two of my children and they are nothing but kind, patient and very professional. After their assessments, they sat with my husband and I and discussed everything in detail and ensured we understood everything. A lot of places are out for money, to make you continue to use their services they have which can add up. Boomerang went through different strategies and options which didn't require money or was super affordable. So thankful Sick Kids and ErinOaks referred us to here. Would recommend 100%!!!!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank the entire staff at Boomerang for being so supportive. I have been in many times for both my son and daughter. From the first visit our family felt at home, everyone is extremely helpful, kind and compassionate. We are fortunate to have this clinic in our community.

The doctors do not rush through the appointments and always answer all my questions and concerns. Fabulous center with tons of programs offered, I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking!
Negative experience: Some of the Doctor's here are not very experienced and that translated into much wasted time only to find out that treatment was not successful for my child. In hindsight and looking into the past, the Doctor did not know how to effectively treat, or have the skills to "meet my child where he was at". This was understood after about 9 wasted full sessions at 1 hour each! Just giving an honest opinion.

Positive experience: Amazing and co operative staff. Lauren Greenwood is the best speech therapist my daughter could ever get. She is calm polite and always gentle with my daughter. And my daughter loves her. Each session has proven to be beneficial. Will surely recommend.
Fantastic experience: Boomerang Health has changed how our family functions. We had our Son assessed at Boomerang Health a few years ago. The assessment was thorough – identifying strengths, weaknesses for my Son. It also gave us an understanding of our Son’s situation. In addition, and most importantly it provided actionable next steps to help my Son overcome the weaknesses. Next steps for the school were also identified. The Assessment was comprehensive and actionable. Boomerang Health is a place that prioritizes their clients, children. They are professional, skilled and dedicated to understanding and working with children. They work as a team, as everyone is housed under one roof. The environment is positioned to set children up for success. Upon entering the office – it is welcoming, child friendly and this atmosphere continues into the therapy rooms not only in terms of décor, furniture, but also how the support is delivered. My Son approaches his sessions with a positive attitude and finishes each one with a smile. In terms of progress, my Son has overcome mountains that he has faced. He is proud of what he has accomplished and in the school he is far beyond the level of the class in terms of comprehension and many other skills. Boomerang not only has provided my Son with support to allow him to learn and grow his weaknesses into strengths but also they have maintained a consistent level of support to us, as parents. They are vested in our journey with my Son. They have provided guidance and support as it relates to us navigating the challenging school system. Throughout our journey our Son has remained the focus and the Assessment is always referred to ensuring the direction and support is focused on the actionable next steps. We are not only grateful but impressed with the doors that have opened up for my Son in his life. Without this group of talented individuals, who specialize and understand how to overcome the gaps or weaknesses, our Son would be lost in the school system. Our niece is an example of this. She is entering Grade 7 with gaps in reading. The school system has been unable to set her up for success, to overcome her gaps. Now, in Grade 7, with our recommendation, Boomerang Health is now supporting her. She now understands where her weaknesses are. Why they exist and how she can, with the help of Boomerang change her situation. She too is positive about her sessions and is showing improvement. Boomerang has been and will continue to be our valued support as we move through our journey both for our Son and our family. We would recommend this group of talented professionals to any family who either don’t understand their child’s situation and or who have children who are struggling in the school system.
Negative experience: The cancelation policy is very strict with very high prices! You don't have much options with their schedules and have to pay anyway and anytime! Can be a little bit more human and sometimes listen to people, instead of misleading them. Not coming back there.

Fantastic experience: From the first time we entered the office everything was just perfect!!! The staff so friendly and gentle, always helpful, Sam, Julia, Diana, such amazing ladies. My daughter has been working with Lauren G for almost 3 years on speech therapy and beside the connection she has made with her, her improvement in speech and communication has been AMAZING!!! Negative experience: This review is first impressions only, regarding the woman who answers when you press 2. I gave her my name and my children's names and who the referring doctor was and that I was calling them back. The first time she told me they didn't have any such referral noted, that I was mistaken. Um, hello? I was calling YOU BACK. Then, after a couple weeks, they called again and left another message about the referral and for me to call them back. This time, when she searched, she corrected me, that my surname I gave her wasn't what was on the referral. Instead of mcn it was mon. Um, hello? It's my surname. I know what it is. They made a typo but I have my last name wrong? I don't think so! I had given her the correct pronunciation of my child's name. She repeatedly mispronounced it. How absolutely rude and disrespectful. What would it have taken to pay attention and be courteous? Nothing! So, if this clinic thinks I'm ever going to pay for anything there that is fee for service, they can think again, and suck it. I'll bring my business elsewhere. I wouldn't even go there for free services as they charge the province and that comes from public funding. No thanks. Not when they have someone like that answering the phones and dealing with the public. She treated me that way twice! TWICE! smh
