Fantastic experience: Paula is an exceptional Physiotherapist. I had only gone to her for 3 months-ish, and I learned alot about what I can do to help with the issues I have. I always felt the best after a 30 minute session with Paula, and the workouts and stretches I brought home with me are great at alleviating the pain I complained about.

Negative experience: I arrived at my first appointment , as a new patient , 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork . The door was locked . A few minutes later a kind therapist let me in and there was no receptionist . My physiotherapist was not in as of yet . I was very surprised the therapists I have had in the past would be in setting up and there to greet you with a smile . He arrived at 8 minutes to nine ( my appt time was 9 ) he came in like a zombie , did not acknowledge me sitting there , not even a good morning ! I left and I will not return to a health clinic that operates in this fashion !

He is one of the most exceptional communicators I've met, and he has a keen intuition about the human body, and he was able to confirm many of my issues in a very short period of time. He ensured that his treatment recommendations were well understood insofar as their practical applications, the risks (if any), side effects, and the desired outcomes. He provided me with a clear description of my anticipated progress and tried to match it with my desired goals. I can't say enough good things about Elia and my experience at Valeo.

I experienced a massage with Anna, a highly skilled and knowledgeable Registered Massage Therapist. Her expertise is remarkable—she intuitively identifies problem areas without any input from me, as if she’s unraveling the story of my muscles fiber by fiber. It’s not just a massage; it’s an exploration that pinpoints and relieves pain with precision. For physiotherapy, I had the privilege of working with Stephanie, an outstanding physiotherapist whose meticulous approach is unmatched. It’s as though she speaks the language of muscles, diagnosing issues with uncanny accuracy—like she’s equipped with x-ray vision and ultrasound fingertips. This isn’t your average physio session either; it’s sports physiotherapy delivered by someone who doesn’t just know the theory but lives and breathes it through hands-on experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be returning and plan to tell my wife about it too. We’ve been on the hunt for a great spot in Milton for massage and physio, and while there are a few solid options, this one stands out as among the very best.

Negative experience: I had an appointment with Allyson, the dietician. Biggest waste of $145. As I stated in my paperwork, sent to her online a week in advance, I wanted personalized nutritional counselling and a personalized diet/eating plan. She told me when I got there that she "doesn't make personalized eating plans." What??? Isn't that the job of a dietician?? Isn't that what is says on their website that they do? The only thing we did in a one hour appointment, was she sat and read through the answers in my paperwork (obviously the first time she looked at it.) It was like this was supposed to be leading somewhere, but it didn't. That's ALL SHE DID. The only thing she did for me was tell me how many grams of protein I should eat in a day - because I asked her. A waste of time and money. She wants the money but doesn't want to have to do anything for it. STAY AWAY.

I was referred to her by the Milton running community and after going through her profile on the clinic's website, I was really impressed and after my session with her I can confirm she is as she is advertised! She is very humble, and a very good listener. She answered all my questions very patiently and being an athelete herself, she knows everything about pains and injuries. I would highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Update # 2: Attended Valeo for a physiotherapy appointment for a muscle spasm in my neck. Therapist was wonderful and fixed the spasm with one treatment. Will definitely book here again. Update # 1: After posting this review Allison very quickly reached out to me to apologize and is working with me to get the information I need! I really appreciate it! Original review: I attended Valeo clinic for Dietitian services after being recommended by one of the staff through Facebook. I called the clinic in advance to confirm they provided the specific services I was looking for- meal planning and calculating my personal macros based on fitness goals. After confirmation I booked my initial appointment online. Had a wonderful appointment with the Dietitian Allison but, was not provided the information I requested. I am frustrated because my time and money was wasted because they mislead me into booking this appointment.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Stephanie Nogueira since 2016 when I had a hip replacement. She is a brilliant physiotherapist and my HR dept were surprised when I was able to return to work so soon after the operation. Since then I have seen Stephanie for several issues, most recently my knee and shoulders. She listens to what you have to say and utilizes different treatment strategies appropriately. It has always been a very positive experience and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I felt completely relaxed afterwards and the cranial sacral work at the end made it even better! Fantastic experience: This is long overdue as I started seeing Stephanie pre-Covid but I wanted to express how kind and amazing she was during my treatments. After I suffered a concussion I was looking for a clinic and came across Valeo as Stephanie is CCM certified. She is very knowledgeable in her practice and listened to what I was feeling. We tracked my post concussion symptoms, had weekly sessions, she provides me with at home exercises/stretches and recommended me to a local Vision Therapist to help with my vision symptoms. I’m so appreciative of her and her work and would recommend anyone needing a CCM certified clinic to go here.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie has been my physio person for a couple of years, she is great and gets the injury resolved, just keep in mind the recovery treatments will hurt and you will have to do the exercises she assigned to get the results you want.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Stephanie at Valeo Wellness Clinic by the running coach at Winston Churchill Running Room after injuring my IT band prepping for a half marathon. Stephanie is absolutely amazing, and we still recommend her to anyone who has a running injury, or just needs physio therapy. Stephanie gave me a comprehensive workout plan that grew over time, and strict instructions on what I could and couldn't do. I aggravated the injury by trying to push the pace and distance, and she kindly advised me that although she could treat the injury; treatment alone would not fix my injury, nor make me a better runner. I had to follow the system. She didn't just treat my IT band injury; she investigated my knee and ankle injuries from high school, and analyzed my stride. She worked on my form, and gave me workouts to resolve the shuffle run that I developed over time to protect my knees and ankle. She recommended new shoes to protect my knees, fixed my foot strike, and taught me how to run properly in them. She fixed non running injuries, resolved the cause of my running problems, and fixed my running form and foot strike. The IT band needed time to heal, and I took time off during Covid to do so. I have since completed a Garmin 5KM 11 week training plan with a virtual coach, and the IT band started acting up again. I focused on the foot strike changes that Stephanie's gait analysis recommended, and the pain stopped after a week. I finished the training plan, and ended up beating my old time by over 3 minutes, and I can finally run properly over 5KM, and without getting injured doing so. If you just need treatment; she is a really good. If you want to isolate what's really going on, fix it, and get better at running; she is amazing. Highly recommended!

From nagging sports injuries to concussion rehab, Stephanie has been able to get all three of my girls back on track and back into their sports. Fantastic experience: I've dealt with Stephanie for a fully torn achilles. My wife and I were expecting so we were quite stressed around the timeline of my recovery. She helped me set reasonable expectations and patiently answered all my questions...and gosh there were many! She was more about getting you back on your feet & active; bulletproofing the problem area rather than just getting you in x times per week to treat you and get money from you. Being an athlete herself made her even more in touch with wanting to get you back to practicing whatever sport/activity you do. I've dealt with a few physios myself, but she takes the crown! I recommend her to anyone and everyone who's responsible enough to do the necessary work to get better while getting support and treatment to prop you back up in your rehabilitation! I can proudly say now that my achilles doesn't feel like it ever has been torn!
