Fantastic experience: Devon was great. Professional and calming. Myofascial massage was great. He explained thoroughly (with patience to answer my many questions) his assessment and helped me understand pragmatic ways to maintain the muscles. He looks for the tension, which I like because sometimes we are in so much pain we might not identify all pain points but he will find them and resolve them. FYI, the check in was a bit strange at first (it’s a machine that you just check in with but ultimately it speeds up the processing)
Negative experience: I wish the massage was as per what they mention on the website. So it says Aches Away own methodology for "No frills" massage.. it wasn't like that, unless "their" method is worse. it started late and ended on time, they used some cheap lotion instead of oil like i requested. the music was weird, the massage therapist did not make the effort to check if the massage was fine, she seemed eager to wrap up. she was asked to focus on the shoulders, but guess what? she missed that part too.. so i don't know what the $135 was for.. grateful if someone could explain that.
Fantastic experience: My massage at Aches Away was the best massage I have had since a fall las year where I encountered complex issues about my right hip. My pain level went down and I was able to walk longer without a limp. Amazing!

Negative experience: Lots of nice reviews about Devon but I unfortunately had a very boring and not relaxing massage. I was taken aback by the space, a bit outdated (no offence), no one really greets you and you sign in using your phone. Devon was cool but super young and felt timid. I paid for an hour "all the frills" and got one point on my calf pushed and pulled for what felt like thirty minutes, then same on the other side and then some very basic back and neck work. He totally didn't massage the front of my body: legs, arms and hands... I have no idea what I paid for will not go back and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: My back and neck pain literally went away after my first session with Devon! He was incredibly caring and attentive, taking the time to understand my pain and providing a massage that was both relaxing and therapeutic. Fantastic experience: Went here for the first time yesterday, and it was such a treat! I was seen by Andy, and he was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with an explanation for my tension, the massage helped release most of it, and he even sent me home with some exercise instructions. I will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: I have had some of the best massages ever here. I’ve been seeing Grace for over a year and she is incredible. So kind and thoughtful, and exceptionally skilled. She always asks what you would like the outcome of the appointment to be and then sets up a plan for those goals to be met. Every time I leave the office I feel relaxed and like a new person. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Positive experience: Good. I’ve tried their massage and osteopathy services. There’s no reception area so each practitioner checks you in.
Fantastic experience: The parking and building access was convenient. The clinic is well-designed and comfortable. Last week, I had an initial assessment and treatment with Faz for my chronic issue. He was extremely thorough with the assessment procedure, testing my range of motion, muscle strength, posture, and asking about my overall well-being. This thorough assessment allowed him to create a comprehensive treatment plan and assign me appropriate home-care. He prefers to treat over clothes so make sure to wear comfortable, loose clothes. His knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology is commendable. If you’re seeking a therapist for rehabilitation and a detailed treatment plan, Faz is an excellent choice. However, if you’re looking for a quick oil massage, his approach may not be suitable.
Fantastic experience: I saw Jennah Miller (naturopath) at Aches Away and absolutely loved my experience with her. She was empathetic, very knowledgeable, and helpful in describing what different results and symptoms may mean. I’d highly recommend working with her for those looking for a naturopath.

Fantastic experience: We were very lucky to get Anna as she just came back from holiday (otherwise you have to wait for at least two weeks). She was very diligent and precise on the spot, my mum’s pain with sciatic nerve and back muscle pain is gone after just couple treatment. We are now frequently going to maintain flexibility!

Fantastic experience: The massage therapist Grace Lee is very knowledgeable and professional. She assessed my arm injury and even followed up the next day with an email offering treatment recommendations. The location of the service is good, at the College subway station. It is on the 7th floor of a building, and there is a security guard on duty at the desk on the front door on the ground floor. All in all, it has been a worthwhile experience.

Fantastic experience: Andrew Dubé is simply the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. He went through my forms prior to my session, asked me important questions to understand my pain and what caused it, and instantly was able to explain what caused it and helped relieve some of the pain. He also showed me exercises and asked me to record them so I can practice at home. He also suggested he will call me in a couple of days to do a follow-up. Professional. Patient and knowledgable. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Julie Bridgman consistently for a while now. I’m so thankful I found her! She’s always focused on tackling the issues I’m having and does great pre and post massage chats and exercises to track progress through our sessions. I always leave her sessions feeling super relaxed and with some homework to help myself make things better until the next time I see her. Thank you Julie, you’re a godsend

Negative experience: Doesn’t work for chronic muscle pain… this place is just for general relax massage but I booked a deep tissue massage online. Asking questions first time you go there for 15 min and the massage was so gentle which felt like drawing circles on your back. After answering plenty of questions massage therapist didn’t seem to really understand. Knots and strings still remain after massage and it’s pricy.

Negative experience: Good place if you are looking for a relaxing massage, but not for deep tissue massage. Not gonna go back. And the price is much more expensive. Below is to reply the owner: First, it is the right massage clinic I’m talking about. Second, I mentioned I have chronic pain on some parts of my body to the therapist, and during the massage I requested”can you press harder?” But still feel the same after. Also the massage on my legs was way too gentle. Maybe it was almost the end of the day and the therapist was tired, but I should I get what I pay for, right? Honestly, I didn’t feel the pain relieved after the treatment and feel the money was wasted.

Fantastic experience: I went for massage with Ioana Nistor and osteopath with Alok Kumar and both were amazing! They both took the time to analyze my file and concerns and explained every step of the treatment. It felt like they were putting genuine effort in making my pain go away and provided me with next steps and recommendations/exercises to do on my own. Ioana even emailed me several videos with exercises and followed up to see if I feel better after the massage. The space is also very clean and serene. Loved it!

I have had stress related issues that had shown up in the form of muscle aches in my shoulders and lower back. Fantastic experience: I experienced my first Osteopath treatment today and was fortunate to meet with Alok. This was on recommendation of my massage therapist because I need some extra care on my joints and alignment of my spine. Alok explained the holistic nature of osteopathy and worked his magic. I took it easy after my appointment because I could feel where he had made some adjustments (exactly where needed) and I feel comfortable and confident that Alok will help me with aches and pains and posture. Fantastic experience: I booked a session with Ioana Nistor and it was absolutely amazing! She's very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to target the areas that are causing pain. She also went beyond what I expected and gave some extra exercises and routines to do at home to help with my shoulder.
