Fantastic experience: I started visiting KINECT Rehab & Performance in September 2024 after experiencing hip pains caused from rafting. After I began my physio sessions and plans provided by Yatrika, the pain I experienced has gone away completely. The entire team was friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend their clinic to anybody.

Negative experience: Went there for upper thoracic and cervical issue. They are friendly and try to help you. But the knowledge like majority of health professionals here isn’t there. I didn’t see any benefit. Came back with more issues than when started my treatments. Maybe it’s a place for straightforward issues.

She clearly loves what she does and won't rest until she finds the perfect treatment plan for each client. RMT Experience: I've had many visits with RMTs over the years to deal with my lower back pain, but very few have been able to reach those 'target' spots like Jeremy. He is super attentive and knowledgeable and left me feeling 10/10 satisfied with my treatment. Thank you KINECT Team!

Fantastic experience: Gavin is a very skilled chiropractor. I was previously seeing a physiotherapist with ineffective treatment, but switching to Gavin was the absolute best decision! He was able to get my chronic back pain down from acute to manageable, and then after that is the first practitioner who got me on strengthening exercises that are the only thing that have gotten me to more permanent relief. I’ve been seeing physiotherapists for ~15 years for chronic back pain, and I would say functionally his chiropractic work is very similar to physiotherapy with the added benefit of the back cracks - he does manual treatment (massage/stretch etc.), and sends me home with exercises to do. He has a holistic approach on treating issues too and takes lifestyle into account. After 1 year of flare ups without improvement, Gavin got me back on track and to a baseline that was very manageable. I have been seeing him for years, though thanks to his effective treatment, very infrequently! I do still get flare ups and I know a few sessions with him will get me back on track. I really appreciate that he regularly checks in with me to see how I’m doing, and he’s able to recommend alternative treatments/practitioners for if/when my insurance runs out. Overall, an excellent experience!

Andrew had a very detail oriented approach to assessing my problematic right shoulder area by testing different ranges of motion and identifying any imbalances between the two sides. The treatment included chiropractic adjustments as well as manual therapy to the neck, shoulder and back. I'm overall very happy with the relief in these areas allowing me to move and play sports with confidence. Would highly recommend Andrew to anyone seeking chiro/rehab services in Toronto!

They provide solutions to your problems from a holistic approach, offering every service you need to get back to feeling healthy in your body. They're also willing to work with you and how you want to approach your physical health, instead of just proscribing exercises you aren't excited to do. And not only are their services great, the space is beautiful, their admin is on point, and their receptionists are helpful and welcoming. Usually something is off at a clinic but here everything is firing on all cylinders. I highly recommend you try them out.

Fantastic experience: Vinchy is helping me get better. It hurts and she won’t let me get away with being lazy , but the results speak for themselves. I have seen a marked improvement in my recovery and no longer require the daily medication that kept me going for months. Who knew that the path to recovery involved doing the hard work? Not me but Vinchy did and she is keeping me on track.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Yatrika and Gavin at KINECT in November for a persistant pinch in my hip and low back pain that had been keeping me from my regular activities. The combination of accupunture and chiropractic adjustment was extremely beneficial. After just the first treatment my pain improved and I was able to start doing more plyo based exercises at the gym which has not been possible before. I am seeing improvement gradually now after each session and am optimistic that I will be back to my regular activites soon. Fantastic experience: I came to Yatrika for treatment with my shoulders & maintenance for my marathon training. She was amazing! Yatrika was able to help me keep up with my weekly long runs setting me up for success on the big day. With all of her exercises, massages, and acupuncture, my body was ready for most of the race. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at KINECT for a few months and Yatrika has helped me diagnose, treat and recover from 2 different persistent injuries. She is an anatomy detective with a vast knowledge base and she loves to find the source of problems with a genuine glee. I'm not good at describing sensations or locating the areas but she was relentless in narrowing her questions one by one until she found exactly what the problems were. It was really incredible tbh. Yatrika provided amazing after care follow up and clear instructions on how to properly perform rehab exercises for homework. She even connected with my personal trainer to make sure he was in the know on my injuries, progress and offered fantastic suggestions on how to modify workouts to allow for healing while still building on my progress in the gym. I have recommended her to friends and will happily do so again. Definitely a 5-star experience.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Gavin who managed to squeeze me in last minute after a shoulder injury. The facilities were modern and well kept and Gavin took the time to really explain to me the process and treatment to ensure I was comfortable before we did anything! He was also very thorough in explaining the reasons as to why I was prone to such injuries and what I could do to prevent them in the future which was hugely helpful.

I was connected with him after a sprained wrist and we moved on from injury to improved functional movement. Now I'm seeing him after a smack to my ribs. I would recommend him for both routine maintenance/general physical improvement and injury recovery of any body part. He is patient and explains the what and why of treatment. If you're walking by and curious don't be intimidated or turned off by the location. It is small, quiet, and very comfortable. A+ across the board.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and when I started working with Jimmy over 7 years ago, I had chronic pain, limited strength and mobility and on bad days, I had to use a cane. Now, thanks to Jimmy (and this is still unbelievable to me and to my doctors), I am running twice a week, something I thought I could never do again. Jimmy has an incredibly keen sense of people's bodies and of where the hidden problems are and an added bonus is that he is a truly lovely human too.

His recommendations and the exercises he's provided to me at the end of each visit have been integral to my recovery. When we started it was hard for me to walk. After a couple of sessions I was able to walk over 10k steps a day again. Kinect is also a beautiful, warm, and welcoming clinic space. 10/10 would recommend!

Gavin was able to see me 'same-day', quickly diagnosed the likely cause of the problem and was able to manipulate the joint to reduce the pain immediately. The Richmond Street location is easily accessible and only a short walk away from St. James Park (perfect for an after-treatment stroll). Dr. Gavin has a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation and I appreciated his keen interest in ensuring that my rehabilitation plan fit into my individual lifestyle. This functional approach to treatment has helped me make huge strides on my rehabilitation journey much quicker than expected. It also doesn't hurt that the treatment spaces avoid clinical sterility and are beautifully designed and welcoming! I have access not only to excellent chiropractic care but physiotherapy and massage. I believe they even partner with the very hip gym next door. Fantastic treatment specialists and excellent experience at Kinect!

Fantastic experience: I've had amazing success with the team at KINECT Rehab & Performance. I initially came for Chiropractic reasons and Gavin was awesome. Super knowledgeable and friendly and figured out all the reasons for my issues and how to correct. I still see him ongoing for adjustments/maintenance and any new issues. Never feel rushed. He always takes his time and love that he is super detailed with his notes for review. I want to call out that recently I came as I was having a lot of issues with my wrists. Diagnosed with carpal tunnel (officially from my rheumatologist) and with the work we did, recommended exercises and the use of one of their RMT's Jeremy, within a couple weeks my symptoms have decreased by over half. I'm a bit in shock but just goes to show I'm going to the right place! I also recently had unknown issues centered around chest and with some adjustments and feeling around and stretches were able to isolate the areas. Noticed instant improvement. I know people who are weary of Chiropractors but Gavin really checks everywhere to find the source of the problems and has been a life saver. I have also worked with Alan for physiotherapy for a modified workout schedule due to a condition I have. I honestly used to hate the gym, but the workouts he provided that helped work around those obstacles combined with his patience, motivation and just fun attitude made me push myself through and I am so happy I have a solid foundation and routine to build off of at the gym where I finally can feel confident. Special thanks to Jeremy! I got the most intense massage (poor guy!) as it was focusing on my wrist issues but he was so powerful with his hands and movements and isolating those target areas while knowing when to push more or back off a little bit based on my reactions. I can't wait to be back for another round this week. Know this is a long review - but when you have great service with proven results, you want to let people know. I have had to go to a lot of places as I have a lot of different medical issues so to be able to have an amazing Chiro, Physio AND RMT all in one place is truly a godsend for me. Thanks so much to the entire KINECT team from me and my body! You will always have a referral in me because of everything you have all done for me even down to flexibility with booking appointments and help with insurance and in my case finding cheaper supplements from how I was usually having to obtain them. Have a great rest of 2022!!!
