Fantastic experience: The nutritionist I had my first meeting with today was able to quickly identify my needs, ask the right questions, validate her understanding of my situation, and make me feel confident about the process that is starting. She was well-versed in the subject for which I requested a consultation. I am very happy to be working with her and her team!

Fantastic experience: Dealing with ÉquipeNutrition was very easy. I had been working on correcting a lot of bad habits based on things I read on the internet, but wanted a professional to really get me on the right track and provide customized guidance. ÉquipeNutrition set me up with a nutritionist named Lévika Gonzalez who I found to be very professional and a great communicator. We efficiently discussed my history, my current health and habits, then worked out a plan for improvement. Ms. Gonzalez was great at explaining the principles of nutrition that were determining my health and provided some realistic and practicable tips for improvement. The next step involved me providing her with more precise data on my habits in the form of an app that documented everything I ate. We had a follow up, during which we looked at the data submitted through the app, I was doing well, and she provided me with more tips for additional improvement. The advice has been very helpful. Obviously, for this service to be worthwhile, you have to be prepared to be honest and committed to leading a healthier life. The changes they recommend may be more difficult for some than others. But if you are dedicated to achieving a healthier lifestyle, ÉquipeNutrition can definitely give you the advice to do so.

Negative experience: According to the nutritionist I saw, weight loss is not feasible because my work pace is too demanding. I left that first appointment with advice that was very far from that goal. Initially, I wanted to implement a dietary retraining and a diet. On the advice of my family doctor, I canceled all my appointments and contacted someone else. The service does not meet my expectations. Why discourage PhD students like this when you have chosen to collaborate with UQAM?

Negative experience: 45 hours before my schedule meeting, we found out our father was in critical condition in the hospital. I get an email reminder about my upcoming meeting with a nutritionist. I tell them I cannot make it. 44 hrs before my meeting. I get an email saying sorry, due to policy i have to charge you if you cancel 48 hours before. Update: Still charged me anyways and your Nutritionist Serena Najm keeps harassing me to make another appointment with her in December. I would rather not deal with you, as you only serve to be a horrible memory for me now, but in the very least can you stop harassing me until I bury my loved one first. My credit card company says they will try and refund me.

A nutritionist from your area will be matched with you for either an in-person meeting or a virtual consultation. Their portal allows you to have everything you need under one roof: insurance receipts, recipes, documents provided by the nutritionist, exercise videos, etc.
