Nautilus Plus Quebec Place

Positive experience: The gym is nice, however since the 2 hours free parking is not available anymore, there is no way I will pay 8$ each time on top of the membership. Time to find another gym with free parking:-)

Fantastic experience: Super gym with excellent kinesiology service and varied group classes. I highly recommend it!

Negative experience: I do not plan to renew. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this gym. They change my trainer without notice or reimbursement. Limited opening hours: Closes at 10 PM on weekdays, 6:30 PM on Saturday and 5 PM on Sunday (apparently we train less on weekends?). Pressure to leave: If you are training, it is 9:45 PM and you are alone in the gym, expect an impatient employee to ask you to hurry up to close. Cleanliness: Too much responsibility is placed on customers to clean. Bringing a towel and wiping down your machine is normal. But I almost never see employees doing any real cleaning. In the evenings, after 6 PM, it is frankly disgusting: sticky machines and unpleasant odors. Uninvolved employees: Unlike the trainers, employees are often on their phones, talking to each other away, not answering questions, or simply directing you to the website. Lack of communication: It is difficult to be informed about events. For example, a local high school sometimes sends 40 to 50 students at once for physical education classes. Good luck finding a free machine during those times. Questionable drinks: The drinks for sale are too sugary and too expensive. Why not offer alternatives like Gatorade Zero, or Core Power (5g of sugar) instead of Milk2Go (30g of sugar)? Useless televisions: No audio... or subtitles. Why have televisions then? In summary, $14 per week ($728 per year) is way too expensive for what the gym offers.

Negative experience: Too often opening late... for example, this morning opening at 6:45 AM when it should open at 6:00 AM.

Negative experience: It's a beautiful gym with welcoming staff and a remarkable view, BUT even if we're willing to pay $10.00 for parking just to work out, it doesn't work. This Sunday, the parking lot was showing FULL and the attendant suggested we find a spot on the street, but that didn't exist. Hurry up and find another location if you don't want to die....

Positive experience: Gym that I have been going to sporadically for 14 years. It's great. The staff is great! But please, some budget needs to be allocated for the showers. At this point, I prefer to wash at home. It's ugly, it's somewhat clean (or too old, hard to say) and the curtains are sticky and so short that you can see my, well you know, my intimacy. I hope that will change. Thank you ✌️

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed. As you say you care about your customers' satisfaction, how do you explain the decision to no longer offer two hours of free parking to your members? To be able to use your facilities, it will cost the user $20 per day. For five sessions a week, it will cost $100. For a month, roughly $400. This is unacceptable.

Positive experience: Very welcoming staff! Nice gym when you live in the area. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's extremely humid in the gym?? It's not that serious, but I shortened my workouts because the humidity bothers me with the heat of training.

Negative experience: I went to do inbody test at this branch, but before I go I called the other brunch at Beauport asking for the price the guy told me its $24, then I went to this brunch the guy asked me to pay $44!! Then I went today at the same brunch the guy asked me to pay $68 for the same test on the same machine!!! I really don’t understand.

Positive experience: Not bad for trial to see and feel the atmosphere. Plenty of equipment to work on. The location is very convenient for people near the downtown area of Quebec City. Tips come in times; it is not busy. Check here how busy it gets.

Fantastic experience: Huge variety of gym equipment. Staff was very friendly, and informed me where all necessities could be found. Everyone was minding his/her own business and was okay. Locker rooms upstairs.

Positive experience: $17.20CAD for a casual visit, even though the website says $15. A decent array of equipment and a mixed crowd of members, so definitely not an intimidating environment. I went early in the morning (7-8am) and I had plenty of space to workout, didn’t have to wait or share any equipment. I did feel that the equipment is a little old, but honestly, this is the third Canadian gym I visited now, and I get the impression that fitness equipment is old in most gyms, which is really odd. It still does the job, but I just think at the price point, you’d expect newer and better quality equipment.

Positive experience: Not bad and there's the bonus of a wonderful view while doing cardio. However, no matter what time I come, the weights section is always mildly to almost full. As the cardio section never has more than five users at a time, why not revisit the space to maybe expand the weights section ?

Fantastic experience: Huge space. Competent, qualified personnel. Super clean. Tons of equipment. A bit pricey if you have a coach, but it's worth it.

Positive experience: Beautiful gym, beautiful view. I've been training there for several years. A big drawback in my opinion is the temperature. Several people have mentioned to the staff that the temperature is way too high for training and nothing changes. Disappointing.

Positive experience: Good gym, but you should look to better enforce your dress code if you want to have one. I arrived with literally 2 cm of visible skin on my ribs because the ventilation didn’t seem to be working and I was suffocating. Honestly, nothing exaggerated since my leggings almost went up to my top, and I was immediately warned to put on a sweater over it, while several times afterward I saw other girls very scantily dressed, showing their entire belly during their workouts without any of your employees saying anything. Adjust your AC or let us dress comfortably to train.

Negative experience: I went to your GYM this evening and I had a very bad experience. I wanted to give it a second chance, and unfortunately, the experience was even worse. Also, you could have air conditioning, the temperature is suffocating and uncomfortable in your GYM.

Positive experience: Very good gym! It would be nice if the sauna was heated more often in the changing rooms and if the treadmills were programmed not to stop after 30 minutes (very dangerous)! Mention made several times, but no change in this regard. The large room on the 2nd floor is often locked, unfortunately. Helpful and smiling staff! The Boomerang program is interesting!

Fantastic experience: Staff who take great care of customers, really interesting facilities. The funny thing: to get to the changing rooms, you already get some exercise: you have to go up to the upstairs!

Fantastic experience: Beautiful view of the city while jogging on the treadmill! They now have two squat racks which are very convenient. Only missing more dumbbells with varying weights (22.5lbs; 27.5lbs; 32.5lbs...). Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this gym!

Positive experience: The view for doing cardio is superb, however, it is easy to see that cleaning is very rarely done, the machines are always dirty... And when a machine is defective, it can remain that way for a long time before being repaired. The machines are not the latest either...

Positive experience: Good place to consider for getting in shape, with welcoming and professional staff. The main room is large and bright. There are 2 rooms on the upper floor for spinning or different classes. I recommend visiting the place. However, a small downside: consider changing the shower curtains, as there are some traces of mold and therefore less hygienic.
