Fantastic experience: I got rear-ended and hurt my neck, so I decided to try acupuncture. I found Lucid Interactive Health online and was appointed Lisa Camargo as my acupuncturist. I was sceptical to try it, but definitely not disappointed. I didn’t know needles and suction cups could feel so good. Lisa makes the experience even more relaxing than a massage. Definitely 5 stars

Negative experience: Left with entire body soaked in oil. Oil stains on my clothes, hair greasy. Definitely the worst massage in 40 years. Gently stroking my neck and shoulders with fingertips isn't a massage. The excessive oil was disgusting. Very disappointing and upsetting. Extremely unprofessional.

The location was accessible, the ambiance was comforting and I was greeted by their receptionist immediately. My therapist, Vanessa was so amazing, she took time to ask about the areas with tension and need more pressure. She worked on my shoulder and back, ensuring every knots was relieved. I will definitely go back and recommend Lucid!

Positive experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Zachary Petropolis. However, I was disappointed to find out that my insurance company (Canada Life) is not going to pay back because “Provider's qualifications do not meet plan requirements.” When I contacted the clinic about the fact my insurance company they first answer was like “we are sorry, yes Canada Life doesn’t currently accept private osteopathy treatments under their coverage” that sounds to me like “yes we knew it”. Some time later the owner of clinic sent me the email with more detailed explanations that was really nice. They didn’t leave the situation “as is” and tried to fix the impression after the first email. Definitely, the negative response from the insurance provider was unpleasant surprise and now I need to find another specialist who is eligible for the insurance coverage. I’d still recommend Dr. Petropolis, but it would be helpful for the clinic to improve transparency about insurance matters to avoid surprises for future patients.

Fantastic experience: Looking for a massage so good it'll make you question reality? Say no more—Mook Kang is your guy! This man isn’t just an RMT; he’s a massage wizard with powers that seem borderline supernatural. I’m not exaggerating when I say Mook listens to your body like it’s spilling all your secrets—then he goes in with laser-sharp accuracy to obliterate pain like it owes him money. I walked in with the usual suspects: shoulder and neck pain from my desk job, lower back pain from hiking, and a freshly repaired ankle from ORIF surgery. Sixty minutes later? Gone. All of it. I’m convinced I traveled to another dimension and back during that massage. Seriously, I’ve been to a lot of RMTs, but Mook is playing in a different league. He’s got the magic touch that had me floating out of the room, pain-free and wondering if I should start a fan club. I don’t know how he does it, but I do know this: I’m never going to another RMT as long as Mook is around. Bottom line: Mook Kang is the BEST RMT IN THE UNIVERSE (probably). Trust me, your body will thank you. A million thanks, Mook—my aches and pains never stood a chance!

Fantastic experience: Best massage I’ve ever had. Do I have your attention? I fully stand by it and here’s why. 1. Tanner had magical hands? It’s probably more a function of training, pressure and asking for feedback but I’m going to chalk it up to magic. He’s a massaging wizard. He was able to work through my problem spots in a way that was comfortable yet significant. There’s also just a softness to his touch and I don’t mean like soft skin but like his soul cares about what he does. Or maybe he’s just a good masseuse and it’s neither his soul or magic but either way, it’s great. 2. So massage things out of the way, I often struggle with noise or other sensory things while I get a massage. I’ve had masseuses with bad breath or that are loud breathers. I’ve been to places with loud noises from next door or the street. This was so nice and quiet. Tanner’s ability to oxygenate his cells without impeding the experience is superb! There’s also nice music and some sort of fan which acts as a bit of white noise and also provides a great hit of air. The bed and sheets are all the normal high grade of comfort one would expect. 3. I love the entry way. It’s bright and there’s free green tea and chocolate. You heard me. Both those things are for you anytime you go! 4. This probably only applies to some lucky souls but it’s across the street from me. So great location.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Lucid Integrative Health 3 times since they've opened. I have received Massage Therapy by Vanessa and Acupuncture from Lisa. It is located in the heart of Langford and has ample parking. Lucid is a quiet clinic space. They offer tea and chocolate while you wait for your practitioner. The front desk has been warm and welcoming and offers direct billing. Vanessa Gibson is a great massage therapist. Her technique is relaxing yet therapeutic and helped relieve some of the tight muscles I have as a runner and cyclist. Lisa Camargo took the time to really dive in to my health, current and past. She created a treatment plan to help me manage some of my menstrual and digestive issues. She treated me with needles, electromagnetic current and laser (needless acupuncture). She regularly checked in on how I was doing and stayed with me in the treatment room while the needles were in. I am happy this clinic opened up in my neighborhood and will be returning for future treatments.
