Positive experience: Pooja Ravi is an exceptional Physiotherapist; extremely knowledgeable, kind and effective. I am elated that she was assigned to me. The centre itself is very modern, clean and welcoming entrance. The only downside is the lack of privacy due to curtains instead of walls between patients (which also contributes to noise from other other sessions). But this is a minor thing considering the great treatment I received from Pooja.

I started working with Christopher Lam when I was having serious issues with my left shoulder, right hip, and lower back. He's wonderful, kind, and attentive; and has the "hottest" hands in the business. While the resistance band is a lovely gift, I was wondering if I could get a bottle of Tequila instead...even a small bottle...just saying! :)

He takes his time, gets all the knots that you didn’t know you had and genuinely cares about how you feel! All the staff from the owner, to the receptionist are lovely and I couldn’t be any happier with the care and service that I receive from them. If you need a place to feel your best, take a walk through the doors of their new building - I promise you will not regret it!

Starting with the admin staff, I appreciate being cheerfully greeted by name when I arrive and admire their efficiency and flexibility. The therapists are empathetic and listen carefully to your concerns. I especially love the way they are always on schedule (though I never feel rushed or cut off). I received excellent care from Michael when I came in recovering from a broken hip! His approach was responsive and intentional. His suggestion that I try the acupuncture was a breakthrough! I have also received care from Brian now that I'm trying to free up my seized hips from months of disuse. His work has brought me the recovery I was seeking where stretching and exercise were just falling short. Everything about this place is professional and just excellent. It's such a pleasure to receive their services.

Fantastic experience: I’m very pleased and happy that I found Physio In The Six and was paired up with Michael Franks. Over the years I have popped a lot of pain killers to deal with different pains that I had. Since meeting Michael the pill pots just sit in the cupboard collecting dust. He has worked at getting rid of my pain. Better still, Micheal has given me the tools to keep the pain away. And when the pain comes back I have the tools to get rid of it. Thank you Michael. I have also found the ladies working reception to be very sweet and helpful. Physio In The Six really deserves more than 5 stars.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment for my daughter only to show up and they had it on a different day! And it wasn't a day that I was able to do it so I never agreed/confirmed to that date. Wasted trip by transit and reception never even apologized for their mistake. We called back to speak to the receptionist who booked the appointment and she just confirmed the WRONG DATE. Again, no apology. Booking was not a simple process and we will never go back if this is the staff. I can't speak to the skill of the practitioners but the owners should improve their processes to ensure better first touch with prospects and clients.

Fantastic experience: I'm seeing Nisha now for 2 weeks for the treatment of my elbow (2 fractures due to a bike accident) and can hardly believe how much the range of my elbow has since improved. Flossing or eating with a knife and fork was out of the question before, but I can do it now, which makes me very happy. So, I'm very grateful for Nisha's care and follow her exercise recommendations by the book. As other people mentioned before, staff at Physio in the Six is very friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: An excellent Physio clinic, with friendly staff. After suffering from a very painful case of Bursitis in my shoulder, I was treated with a variety of exercises, stretches and arm movements that fully resolved the issue. Today I'm pain free and have regained full movement of my shoulder. Thank you to the staff of Physio in the Six.

Fantastic experience: I've been regularly going to Physio in The Six for massage therapy for over a year now and every time is better than the last. I regularly play soccer and go to the gym daily, so these sessions are a must for me. Brian is an excellent massage therapist, hits all the pain points and even recommends treatments to avoid injuries and reduce tension. The storefront itself is very clean, nicely decorated, always has a great atmosphere and makes you want to come back. Absolutely would recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I’m so grateful for the care I’m getting at Physio In The Six. I arrive in pain and 30 minutes later Nadia has found a way in to alleviate the pain and get me moving again. I always leave with tools to help myself between appointments. Unlike other physio experiences I’ve had, I get 100% focused hands on attention for the whole appointment. Both times, Chris Lam assisted him in his rehabilitation. Chris' thorough sessions, his attention to detail, his interest and his enthusiasm added with his extensive knowledge and experience all brought my boy to a place of healing where he was able to return to ice with full strength and range. Fantastic experience: I attended Physio in the Six for nearly five months after fairly major shoulder surgery, right off the bat I just want to say all the staff are extremely friendly and professional. A special shout out to Chris Lam who I saw for the majority of my appointments, when I first started treatment my shoulder was in a sling and had no range of motion whatsoever. Today I have almost my full range of motion back, and a considerable amount of strength has returned. I can say with confidence that without Chris' care and expertise, I would not have had such a speedy and successful recovery. Chris puts a great deal of thought and care into your treatment and recovery plan, he gives extremely helpful advice and exercises for you to work on during your time away from the clinic, and on top of that he is extremely personable. I would recommend this clinic and Chris as a physiotherapist to anyone who is experiencing pain or issues!

She really cares about her clients and strives to provide the best care possible. I could not recommend them enough. Everyone working there is very kind and you feel like you’re talking to a friend while you’re getting treated. Fantastic experience: I wanna give them 5 stars cause they truly deserve it. I came here a week ago, with a terrible back pain, completely frustrated and disappointed. I walked in and felt welcomed The receptionists are very nice and polite. Then I met Chris who’s my physiotherapist. He is very knowledgeable, easygoing, friendly, patient and professional. Fantastic experience: I have been treated for vértigo by Jean Thomas, Vestibular Therapist, for the last two years. I haven’t had a vértigo attack since 2020 thanks to Mrs. Thomas expertise. My vértigo experience has been a yearly nightmare since 2001, happening every year and ending up in hospital for 7-10 days every time. I was surprised to learn that Physio in the Six Inc. had a place on Lake Shore, very near my house, and that they had a Vestibular Therapist in house. I can never explain what this experience has been. The people at Physio in the Six are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The place itself is spotless. Without Mrs. Thomas and her Physio in the Six team, I would have felt handicapped. Thank you Physio in the Six and Mrs. Thomas for taking care of my vestibular problem.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend choosing Physio In The Six. I am an elite soccer player and with that comes many muscle injuries. Nadia has always made sure to heal these injuries through great exercises and treatment. This has ultimately led me to play games pain free. The environment is very welcoming and clean. Fantastic experience: Could not recommend this place enough! I went here for various sports injuries and always looked forward to appointments and seeing the friendly staff. I specifically worked with Chris and his thorough knowledge and upbeat attitude were truly the best. I (almost) wish I was injured again so I could go back!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and effective treatment. The facility is clean and well-equipped, and everyone wears a mask if you're concerned about safety. Would recommend to anyone.

Negative experience: I have a herniated disc in my low back and my doctor prescribed physical therapy to me. I called into the clinic, explained my situation and booked an assessment appointment. At the appointment, the PT Jean (who I later learned is a Concussion and Vestibular PT, NOT what I need) made me bend over multiple times. This is a big no no if you have a herniated disc. Worse yet, she specifically told me not to bend from my hips (maintaining a neutral spine) but to round my spine. She wanted to see if it would relieve pain. Well, by the end I was in agony. My symptoms and pain drastically increased following the appointment, and a week later I am still in a significantly worse state than I was prior to the appointment. For example, prior to the appointment I was able to walk for an hour before the pain would start, I could lay in bed without pain both on my side and on my back, I could turn without pain, and overall was hopeful and mobile. After the appointment I have been bed ridden for a week now, its painful to lay on my back, my side, and I cannot walk. Again, this was immediately following the appointment up to now, a week later. I called back after my appointment and was told my symptoms will subside within 24h and to take painkillers. This has taken a huge toll on my mental health. I am immobile and in pain. I am so angry and frustrated with the whole experience and the fallout of my appointment. Please, if you have serious injuries, go to another PT.

Fantastic experience: Hello I sprained my ankle severely on March 31st 2022 and the doctors I seen kept telling me I might need physio. I never done physio in my life and I’m almost 40. I never believed in it and I thought you can heal yourself. Well 8 weeks past and my ankle was hurting a lot. I decided to go to Physio on the 6th because I live couple of blocks away and I walk by it every day for years. My physiotherapist was Nadia and every time I see her my ankle feels better. It’s not 100 percent yet but this takes time but I gained a lot of knowledge from her and her exercises really work. I’m back to work now and I didn’t feel any pain on my first day yesterday which was June 22 2022. I highly recommend Physio on the 6th. Thank you again Nadia .
