Fantastic experience: Very professional with excellent physio and massage therapists. Pay parking but the office validates so there is no extra cost for patients.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Noura enough for Pelvic Floor Physio!! I had an incredible experience with her during my first pregnancy. From the very first visit ,she made me feel extremely comfortable, and she always took the time explain things in detail to support me during my pregnancy. From pelvic floor work, to back pain, to helping me find the right belly belt to support my bump - every recommendation was spot on! Finally, she even offered my husband and I a joint session to help teach him how to best support me during labor and I can't tell you how helpful that was when the time came! I won't hesitate to go back to see her for all my physio needs!

Positive experience: This is the second time that I've seen Ben David. First for a back strain and now for a sore shoulder. Ben is strait forward with his approach to the injury and quick to ask the the proper questions to assess the problem. Then he explains what his approach will be towards a good regimen. The best thing that he does is after each point he stops to ask, "Does that make sense?" Just to make sure you're on the same page. I recommend him and MotionWorks Physiotherapy. Negative experience: Based on my experience, they should improve their customer service and communication to clients. Being six months pregnant with twins (which I told them when I booked the appointment), I would have appreciate adequate communication and more empathy from them as they work in the healthcare field. When I arrived for my 7:30am appointment, I was informed that the appointment was canceled because the physiotherapist was sick. While the reason for canceling my appointment is totally understandable, they never contacted me to inform me of the cancelation or to rebook my appointment. The receptionist kept saying, in a nonchalant tone, that they sent me an email the evening before my appointment, but I never received it; I even checked my spam emails. I I asked to check if they had my correct email. I spelled it for her and she said it was the email in their file. However, I believe that was a lie because when I got home, I saw that I received two emails from them after I left their clinic (see attached picture); one to verify my email and another one to inform me the appointment was canceled. They misspelled my name… The receptionist could have acknowledged the error instead of insinuating that I was lying about not receiving their email. A call to inform me that my appointment was canceled would have been much appreciate. I decided to book an appointment with another clinic.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad I had my physio treatments at Motion Works which addressed my pelvic issues. My physiotherapist Nora, was very knowledgeable and explained all the steps in detail including how to do exercises I needed. I am doing so much better and definitely would recommend Motion Works. Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic when I had severe neck, back and knee problems from gym injuries. I visited Noura and she pinpointed my issues exactly and went over my training routine to identify and fix any problems. She was very knowledgable and within just a couple of sessions, I felt significantly better with the help of the exercises and the dry needling. Would 100% recommend visiting!! Thank you Noura!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend seeing Evelyn LaRoche for pelvic floor physio. She is extremely kind and caring. She listens attentively to concerns and answers every question I have. She is very knowledgeable and will work through exercises with you to find what works. I also appreciate that she doesn't pressure you to come back for a certain number of sessions and she lets you decide what works best for you and your schedule. I'm happy to have found her!

Fantastic experience: Review for pelvic floor physiotherapy: As a FTM navigating the world post baby is very busy and jarring as the needs of the baby come first but you can't overlook your own health as well. When getting pelvic floor physio, it's a very intimate process, one that requires care, support, and making the best of the situation, which is exactly what Evelyn did for me! She provided a welcoming space for me to bring my newborn while providing me with excellent exercises and tips to help resolve the pelvic floor issues I was having. She took the time to understand my concerns and made sure they were addressed each visit. She always explained everything in simple language and explained how exercises could be modified to accomodate life with a newborn while also getting the help I needed. She is absolutely wonderful with babies as well and always helped calm my baby when she was upset or offered to hold her to give me a break, which was so appreciated! She is such a fantastic PT and I highly recommend seeing her for any pelvic floor issues you might be having, it's life changing! Thank you Evelyn!

Negative experience: Receptionist not listening to my questions, constantly interuppting me assuming she knows what I'm asking and giving judgemental looks with her colleage when I repeat my question. Made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. Good job you just lost a potential client, due to poor client service. Update: they didn't even bother to read my review carefully before responding. After further research it was actually the owner Karen that I was dealing with in person "not over the phone".

Negative experience: I filled out the online form to book a first appointment. The website says ‘we are accepting in-person and virtual appointments’ another post clearly says ‘new patients welcome, we are always welcoming new patients’ however when I received a return call I was told their therapists are booked for the next few months and they are not accepting new patients. When I asked if there was another provider they could recommend the response was ‘no’. No waitlist offer, no further information for potential future booking, overall very unhelpful and misleading.

Fantastic experience: I am pleased and satisfied with the service I received from Motion Works Physiotherapy, more precisely Evelyn. She put me at ease, was very kind and attentive to my needs. The exercises she suggested helped tremendously with my symptoms. I would recommend her for pelvic floor physiotherapy!

Fantastic experience: Many, many thanks to Ben David who got me through a foot injury that developed four weeks out from running a half-marathon. Ben quickly diagnosed the problem and came up with a treatment plan to deal with the injury and develop strength to avoid it happening again. His plan was effective and safely eased me back into training and I was able to run the half-marathon. Ben was a great source of information for running and staying active; he is very knowledgeable. Support staff at the clinic are great too – friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I saw Shira for my baby’s flat spot/torticolis and the whole issue was resolved pretty quickly. Highly recommend her and the clinic. Very professional, clean environment and easy to get an appointment that fit in my baby’s nap schedule.

Her kindness and professionalism puts you at ease, and her knowledge and reassurance during a time of major change was greatly appreciated. Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with Breast cancer and underwent a right side mastectomy in April 2023. Following surgery, I was experiencing tightness and pain in the scar area. I began working with Evelyn Laroche at Motion Works Physiotherapy and after several sessions, my range of motion is back to normal, the pain and tightness is gone and I have the tools and knowledge to address these issues if they return. Fantastic experience: Was referred to Pelvic Physio by my OB in the OMG building. Am I ever glad she recommended me to go here. I've been seeing Noura since i've been 6 weeks Postpartum. Noura has found problems where my OB and an U/S could not detect. Thanks to her knowledge and expertise she has re aligned my displaced SI Joint ( joint in your lower back) which has relieve me from a lot of lower back pain. Found an internal issue that was causing a lot of pain as my cervix was not retracting as it should. Noura has provided me with exercises to help with my mildy prolapsed bladder and many more issues after having my baby. She has helped me get back to my "normal" painless self. I could not thank Noura enough. Her professionalism, kindness and the comfort she provides during each and every appointment has got me feeling a bit sad that she has discharged me and I will no longer be seeing her on a regular basis. Fantastic experience: Nothing but good things to say and would highly recommend this clinic. I worked with Ben on shoulder tendonosis and hip/groin pain for 4 to 5 sessions. I especially appreciated how Ben explained the reasons why the issues were arising in the first place, and how to avoid them. He did treatments on the problem area and created an exercise plan for me to follow using an easy-to-use app for my phone. After > 10 years of issues, Ben's help helped solve the issue and get me squared away.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Motion Works (Orleans) was nothing but A-1 from the get go. Getting an appointment was easy and quick. From the moment I walked into the reception area until I left, the personnel were extremely courteous and professional. The appointment reminder notifications were sent on a timely basis. I was advised, with enough notice, if there was to be a change in my appointment. I saw Shira Schwartz. I cannot say enough about her professionalism. Shira was a very attentive physiotherapist. She was thorough and spoke using common words in her explanations. Shira did not extend my visits beyond what was needed. Most importantly, she made sure I had the tools to solidify the progress. Oh yes, the ‘homework’ tool (Embodia) was marvellous with its features such as reminders, explanations. Because of my experience, I highly recommend Motion Works (Orleans) should physiotherapy be required. My next use of Motion Works (Orleans) will be for a massage. To assist the massage therapist, Shira advised that my file will indicate the issue that requires attention.

Fantastic experience: Cathy Allison, Registered Massage Therapist at Motion Works Physiotherapy Orleans, Google Review, The most important issue in massage therapy is, I find, the therapist! My therapist, at the Motion Works at 4289 Innes Rd. in Orleans, Cathy Allison, has 17 years of experience and is a Registered Massage Therapist. Massage therapy being a physical process, it is important that the massage therapist be physically fit. Cathy is slim, agile and strong. Her massage is as hard, intense, and strong as needed. Yet she will reduce its intensity, the strength of the massage, should you see fit to do so. She will move your legs, and your arms herself as need be. Her massages are continuous and do last a full non-stop hour. She will give you advice as to what you should do after the massage. She is attentive to your needs and does remember the issues that were brought up in the previous sessions. She is also a good conversationalist, a bonus! As far as the Motion Works centre is concerned, the facilities are clean. The staffs are cordial. The massage room itself has all the necessary sheets and pillows to accommodate the client and the treatment. The massage therapist will ensure that you are comfortable before starting the treatment. If you come from outside Orleans, the therapy center has its street number 4289 well displayed on top of the add outside the complex. It is on Innes Rd, close to Tenth Line Rd. There is a pay parking lot at the back of the building, and Motion Works will stamp your parking ticket so that you won’t have to pay for the parking. Should your ticket not work on exit, press the attendant button at the exit gate explaining that you come from Motion Works, and they will open the gate for you. . I highly recommend the registered massage therapist Cathy Allison, should you require a very beneficial massage, and I found Motion Works to be a very accommodating centre. G. Chenier

Fantastic experience: I began seeing Shira when I was post partum and trying to repair my pelvic floor. Shira is not only is so kind, knowledgeable and very easy to talk too but she is incredibly supportive of your healing journey. She meets you where you're at, has 0 judgement and comes up with different strategies if you find something can't work for you at that moment. Very quickly I noticed huge changes in my body and I still feel the positive outcomes of my physio today. Fantastic experience: I live in a remote area in Ontario and did not have access to the services of a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I found motion works physiotherapy Orleans online and have worked with Evelyn LaRoche virtually for my last Pregnancy. Evelyn helped me prepare for birth and the outcome was amazing. She also did a follow up postpartum. This service Is exceptional for anyone being pregnant, who will give birth and also for postpartum to prevent any issue with the pelvic floor. Evelyn's service was outstanding, even though every appointment was virtual due to my location.

Fantastic experience: I injured my spine causing a bulging disc in my lumbar area. It's an unforgiving injury. It was my first time going to physiotherapy. I was very nervous about my physiotherapist accidentally making it worse than it already was. Luckily, I was paired with Shira Schwartz, she has the magic touch. Shira is basically the Muhammed Ali, Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky of physiotherapy. As a professional in her field she knows all the right things to say and do. Not once did I feel uncomfortable with her methods. In fact, I looked forward to seeing her each and every session. I will continue to see Shira, even though my back is fully healed. As a construction worker I've learnt the importance of physio. By having her stretch the muscles that don't get the attention they need, it makes my job and life much easier. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Shira and the folks at Motion Works are fantastic. Shira identified my issues, and quickly worked on getting me on the road to recovery. The environment was “Safe”; Co-vid protocols are in place, non-judgement, positive and very supportive. Shira is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable expert and she resolved allot of my lower body issues. She’s also not afraid to make recommendations and provide next steps. If you're getting blank stares from medical professionals and suffer from any issues, including any related to pelvic floor muscles (both men and women), I would highly recommend Motion Works.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing team of professionals the Motion Works Physiotherapy have. Not only was I greeted with cheerful receptionists who respected every Covid-19 precautions but my personal physiotherapist, Evelynne Laroche, was absolutely amazing. I was late for my very first appointment and she still greeted me at the door with such kindness. As this was my first time working with a physiotherapist I can say I won't be going anywhere else but here. I would recommend this place of business 100% to anyone!

Fantastic experience: We brought our 12 year old daughter to Motion Works, about a foot issue that had been crippling her, family Dr. could not diagnose through x-rays. Within minutes of looking at her and having her do certain exercise and stretches, Karen was able to explain how/why the pain was occurring, and more importantly, advise as to what could be anticipated if the issue wasn't addressed. Clear explanations, simple guidance on exercises and remedial measures to take at home, a couple of follow-up visits to treat inflammation and review progress, and she's back into academy soccer training. Great service, excellent staff, very competent professionals, and an ability to speak to my daughter in a way that built immediate rapport/trust. Beautiful facility in Orleans as well. Would certainly recommend.

Positive experience: Appointments are rushed and they don't do everything they can do. I paid $75 each visit and was in and out in 20-25 minutes for 6 weeks, until I went somewhere else for better service.

Negative experience: I received physiotherapy at motion works about 2 years ago for widespread chronic pain. I do not remember the name of my physiotherapist but I do remember her being very rude to me. She would be very frustrated every time i brought up a new issue, despite knowing that my condition was complex. She would hook me up to what i believe was an electrotherapy machine and then leave the room for about 15 minutes. She never gave me any exercises to do or explained to me what she was doing. She put me off physiotherapy for a long time and I never saw any improvement until I saw a physiotherapist who actually cared about me.

Fantastic experience: Short version: Words cannot explain my gratitude to Evelyn (physiotherapist) and Cathy (massage therapist) for guiding me and treating my body to heal itself of sciatica. Here's the full story. A few months ago I was suffering from sciatica, to the point where I could barely bend over and touch my knees. This was probably a combination of not being about to play league basketball or football (soccer), working from home and sitting for several hours without moving, and poor snow shoveling technique (first timer ). Anyway being a relatively active guy and not being able to touch my toes as usual was frustrating and saddening to say the least. After trying self help stuff and going to a chiropractor from a different place without improvement, I reached out to Motion Works a little skeptical. They got me in touch with Evelyn and I can't thank her enough for listening to my story and healing me of this debilitating pain. First few sessions were virtual and Evelyn gave me exercises to do and once the lockdown restrictions were lifted I was able to go in for physical assessment and treatment (all adhering to covid protocols of course). Evelyn also referred me to Cathy for massage therapy which was immensely helpful in speeding up my recovery. Better yet Cathy treated my then pregnant wife which noticably alleviated the pain that comes with third trimester pregnancy. I believe it also made delivery smoother too. Let me warn you that once you start going to Cathy you'll find yourself going back again and again . I can now touch my toes again and I'm back to exercising the way I used to with some added stretches and techniques to keep this sciatica from coming back. Fantastic experience: As usual, the reception was efficient and pleasant. My massage therapist was fully prepared to receive me upon my arrival. The massage was fantastic and Cathy showed amazing patience in listening to my constant chatting. Cathy is a good listener and an amazing massage therapist.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff at Motion Works Physiotherapy are very friendly, welcoming and helpful with any questions or concerns you have. The new medical building with secure parking (which Motion Works provides validation for) is a pleasure to visit because of the easy entry and exit compared to previous physiotherapy clinics I have visited. Evelyn's level of care is excellent because of her attention to detail and knowledge of the human body, and her "homework" assignments are clear and easy to follow. The clinic has COVID protocols in place that, in my opinion, align and exceed the guidelines and that is very comforting in this crazy new world. I happily recommend this place to anyone in need of their services. Keep safe and healthy everyone!

Fantastic experience: As a new patient at Motion Works Orleans, I was happy to see that the clinic is in the new, modern medical building on Innes Road. They have gated parking however Motion Works validates (!). The main reason that I took the time to write this review is because of how very happy I am with my physiotherapist, Sonya Rego. Sonya is not only very personable, upbeat and positive, but most importantly, she is extremely knowledgeable, very thorough in her examinations and with her treatments/technique. An added bonus is that Sonya takes the time to educate her patients if they're interested, which I am so 'two thumbs up' for Motion Works Orleans and physiotherapist Sonya Rego!

Fantastic experience: I have been at Motion Works Physiotherapy since the end of August to help regain mobility in my right knee following a fracture. Shira Schwartz has been working with me to reach this goal. She is very professional and pleasant. Thanks to her, I am making great progress. I also had pelvic physiotherapy a year ago with Anik Lalonde. Would recommend this facility without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: Amazing clinic! Shira was my Physiotherapist for a back injury, and in only two months gave me all the tools, motivation, and patience I needed to get back to my daily routine without a back injury! Laurel at reception was ALWAYS so kind and extremely supportive throughout my constant scheduling changes. Cathy was also helping in aid me during my back injury as my RMT and was so incredibly kind and passionate about her job. I always loved going to see her, and made my injury instantly improve after 1 session. Between Cathy and Shira, they would discuss what was beneficial for me and would always communicate with each other on how progress was going! I highly recommend this clinic for any physio or massage needs!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Motion Works, Orleans, since August 19th...Shira Schwartz was my physiotherapist. I had a hip problem that had come on suddenly and it was difficult to do stairs or walk very far. Today, September 30th, I have been discharged from their care and I have no more pain or problems walking 10k daily. I highly recommend Shira Schwartz, very professional and helpful. Motion Works is very clean and attention to detail with covid cleanliness...and protection.....also free parking! Also, the receptionist is very pleasant and helpful.
