Fantastic experience: From receptionist to all the doctors combined everyone is accomodating and helpful. I am really happy with the services provided. I have been coking to this clinic now for 3 years. Dr Tang is my doctor she's very kind and helpful and if I call on a random day amd I need to be seen or my kids Dr. Sun is usually who is there and he is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you to the entire team at crosstown for being there when needed. We appreciate you.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Sun has been our family doctor for years and he is truly the best! He goes straight to the point and is compassionate and caring as well. He always answers my emails and will call if needed. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a family doctor!
Fantastic experience: Went to see Dr.sun he was on time and really listens to his patients and provides everything he can to start the healing process. Didn’t take long in and out. Also want to mention Dr. Anser Abass who is a great chiropractor updated me via text on my wsib claim and helped me heal. He also gave me really early appointment times as I’m an early bird and that works better for me. Great team happy to have doctors that look out for their patients first!
Negative experience: I was taken by ambulance to hospital last night. I wanted to follow up today with my GP. The receptionist was a rude as ever. She said my doctor was fully booked and could not see her till sometime in November. I wanted to know if doctor will receive my records regarding the hospital visit. She says we have no report. I said will the doctor get them or should I get them to her? No clear answer. Then really nasty said "Do you want me to cancel someone else's appt so you can have it?" I was shocked. She hung up on me.

Fantastic experience: Dropped in Saturday around 11 am walk in no appointment. Was served fast and friendly the Doctor was friendly and explained everything clearly it was a good experience.
Negative experience: Tired of this place. Honestly the biggest regret in my life is setting this doctors office as my sons doctor. My son was born in 2020 and we met a man who worked in this office who was amazing, after choosing this office for my son, a couple months later that doctor left and I’ve been stuck with these guys.. They refuse to care about you and seem to think if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.. i don’t think they read the reviews much because they seem very similar. I have torn ligaments in my knee when I was younger. I have had 2 surgeries (open knee surgery and the scoop one) I let my doctor know and she continued to bring up appointments I missed when I was younger. I promised to look after everything if she would help me. We set up a xray and ultrasound. My doctor told me that “everything seems fine” (without an mri) I asked her if I should try strengthen it maybe it’s weak and she said “maybe” so I started working out on it, riding my bike to work, taking extra stairs etc. I didn’t leave the office without begging for an mri.. did my mri on august 17th, 7:30am. I got to the hospital and for some reason “the paper work wasn’t filed right” I didn’t start my mri till about 9 so they could retrieve my info. I also had explained my situation and the doctors in the hospital told me to my face they would speed everything up for me to get results within 3 business days. My mri was on the 17th and on the 25-26th I felt a horrible pain in my knee. Decided to call this office to figure out what was wrong. I explained to Diana that I couldn’t bend my knee. She told me she was going to check for my results and let me know in the mean time. I called on the 26th. On the 27th after going to work and doing light work, I was told they can’t help me cause it didn’t happen at work. So I left work after calling THIS office multiple time to never receive an answer back. I showed up only to hear Diane tell me the portal was open but nothing was available. She did try to figure out if my doctor could see me but I don’t understand why. She can’t see the results to figure out what’s wrong and now I’m heading to the hospital to sit down for however many hours.. all because I can’t trust this office. And Diane needs to figure out if this is the right career path for her. I read other reviews and her names is mentioned multiple times. This is also my 2nd review.. I feel stuck here cause I can’t find a decent doctors office and I’m starting to feel like it’s being held above my head. Do what yu wish but I would never recommend this office for anyone..
Fantastic experience: Dr. Chan is great and I find the receptionist staff to also be helpful. I have been going to this clinic for about a year now and have only good things to say about my experience here. I have even referred a few family members and friends to this office.

My cough was so painful and you saw me immediately and gave me a req and prescription to help me out.The gentleman in front of me gave me his spot so thanks to him as well I saw you first in line. After a difficult weekend, your manner, direct approach attention to my needs was much appreciated. What I am most grateful for is you being there so early and open on a Sunday so we can get medical attention without having to go to the hospital emerg.God Bless You.

Fantastic experience: I'm 53 and I have been around the corner when it comes to family doctors and clinics. Crosstown has been by far the most dedicated, caring and responsible clinic I've experienced so far. The reception is friendly, caring and very competent. They treat you with the upmost respect and kindness. Dr Tang has been an angel, I have a son with a disability and she had been taking wonderful care of both of us. I can't convey with words how amazing they have been, after years of neglect from former doctors. Thank you to all the staff!
Negative experience: I had an extremely frustrating experience with the service at this facility, particularly due to the interactions with Diane, the nurse receptionist. Reaching her by phone was nearly impossible, and on the rare occasions when I did make contact, she was dismissive and incredibly rude. Diane's unhelpful attitude and lack of listening skills only compounded the stress of the situation. This level of service is substandard and not what one would expect from a professional medical environment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for services where the staff is more accommodating and responsive. Worst is Dr. Jetha, I had an extremely disheartening experience with her who was unprofessional and downright inappropriate during my visit with my wife. Her conduct was far from what one would expect from a medical professional; she was rude, dismissive, and made us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. It's crucial that a doctor's demeanor should foster trust and provide support, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I would strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere to avoid such an unpleasant experience.
Negative experience: How can I file an official report against Diane? She is Dr. Abdellah’s receptionist. She is rude, crass and lacks the ethics of her profession. I called on 2024-04-09 to make a report because she never picks up the phone and the person I spoke with stated she would reach out to Diane. Diane called back today after months of voicemails and unanswered calls and practically raised her voice, spoke in such a condescending manner and did not address my inquiry. I am going to take this up to the farthest authority. She should not be speaking to clients in this manner. I practically changed doctors because of this horrible human, Diane. Crosstown needs to take this seriously.
Fantastic experience: Excellent care provided by Dr. Abbas. Felt less pain and experienced improved mobility right after my first visit. My recovery time was quicker than expected. Dr. Abbas was extremely knowlegeable and very patient. Definitely recommend him to anyone requiring treatment.
Negative experience: I’m 9 months pregnant and needed a family doctor. I am due in a week. Was only 15 minutes late and they had a terrible attitude and wanted a late pay fee. I was willing to wait but they declined that. Male receptionist had no compassion and was rude.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Den Boer is the world's greatest and nicest doctor. My.family and I love going to see our doctor. Easy to get an appointment. The staff are so nice and always call back promptly. Parking never an issue. We are so happy here.
Negative experience: Made an appointment to switch to this clinic. Took time off work to show up to my appointment with my family. Whoever took my appointment didn't note that I would be coming, I guess? Okay fine, mistakes happen, but not only would they not see me (despite still seeing my family) Dr Sun was unapologetic and downright rude.
Fantastic experience: Amazing!! I'm so happy to have found this clinic. As a person with so many disabilitating health issues, and after years of being neglected, both my son and myself are finally getting a decent care. Dr Tang has been the best family physician I've ever had in my 53 years, going beyond expectations, also the reception, everyone in fact. Thank you Crosstown for the extraordinary care.
Negative experience: My problem is with the reception extension 4. I tried to call everyday early in the morning the moment its open but no response. I tried again in the afternoon, the same thing. I need the results of the tests that I took. No one is responding to the calls. Reception is only available until 4pm and it's stressful because I've been trying again and again for days now. I hope this will be fixed. I have work from 8-4:30 and it's hard to get the timing. It's stressing me out.
Fantastic experience: Crosstown Family Health Clinc is by appt. There is a team of family Dr's. available. A Therapist ( it helped me). A Chiropractor and a Pharmacy. Atmosphere is pleasant, and a friendly staff.
Negative experience: If you have a complex health profile, they will avoid you, not call you back, make excuses and gaslight you. They are :Overworked, angry and money hungry. They are socio economically stereotyping/ prejudiced and Lacking in organizational skills or understanding systemically. This is an extremely dangerous place to entrust with your health. Very sad and disappointing that it was anything but a place of (health)care .
Negative experience: The reception staff are not properly trained regarding the AODA Accessibility for Ontarins with Disabilities Act law. AODA has been around for 19 years please get with the picture because your office staff and business can be fined $50,000 per day of non-compliance of AODA.

Negative experience: The worst place ever! In the last 3-4 years they dont do nothing. I had injury, menthal situation, etc. No appointment or waithing for weeks, phone appointment, begging them for help. Charge for records. Nonsense!

Fantastic experience: Dr Chan is always very caring and helpful. I am glad she is my doctor. My whole family goes to her now because of how I feel about her. If she doesn't know the answer to something she will always make sure to do her best to find out.
Negative experience: Absolute worst customer service I have ever received for two years. If you want to call the reception good luck, you have a better chance seeing a unicorn. And the male Asian receptionist, my god. Dude, if you don’t want to work stop taking tax payer money so you can sit there with your resting birch face and do the bare minimum.
Negative experience: I went there for a checkup and ended up taking a blood test there as well. The blood test came with an extra fee of 40$ for an item that wasn't covered by OHIP but I could only pay in cash as I was told that they don't take cards for this (even though they do at the reception upstairs). I thought it was a bit shady but did it anyway, and, well... let's just say that the nurse didn't do a very good job with the needle. I'm used to giving my blood and doing blood tests regularly and never turned that blue/purple after an injection (and that's 3 days later). Very unprofessional.
Apologies. Unfortunately the lab is a separate business and we do not take payment on their behalf so the receptionists would not be able to help. Sorry about your experience there.
Negative experience: Wow. First time, I’ve ever been turned away to try to see a doctor. My parents told me to come to this doctor since their good. The receptionist turned me away just now. I called last week and asked if I can walk in on Tuesday. The receptionist who answered said yes I can just walk in anytime on Tuesday. I come today and they said they won’t take me and to see my family doctor. I asked when’s walk in hours and she’s like it’s for their patients only. I’m so confused. The way the receptionist handled the situation wasn’t really helpful. I felt uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come back here again. I only came here because the other walk in clinics kept giving me prescription I was allergic to. I’m just leaving this review because I woke up super early from Guelph just to come here to see a Doctor due to my parents recommendation. The receptionist who answered last week should of just told me not to come as it’s for their patients only. What a waste of time.
Fantastic experience: We have been patients with Dr. Den Boer since they were at West Park Health Centre. I always received great care from her. She is patient, kind, and overall amazing. Even when our doctor was not available, we would usually see Dr. Sun. He's been great even at our last visit for my son. Nurses and other staff are also kind and attentive. Reception is great and have always gotten back and are kind and accommodating. We are lucky to have them.

Negative experience: Warning - this place is a disaster. Whenever you call no one answers. Voicemails are not returned. It's so awful my aunts had to walk into the office to ask for the doctor to call and still no sucess. The receptionists are rude and incompetent. When you show up for appointments there are often no one at the front desk so you just sit lost. Trying to get prescriptions renewed are a task and the prescriptions are always screwed up. If anyone knows of a good family doctor please leave a commet with details. Don't waste you time going to this awful place with deplorable customer service and incompetent staff. They deserve Zero stars unfortunately the lowest is one star. My biggest regret was taking my aunts to this awful place to get a family doctor. Now looking for a new family doctor.

Negative experience: Can the staff or the doctors here explain why no one ever picks up the phone at any given time of the working hours mentioned. We’ve literally called 6-8 times a day (different days). The only way it keeps ringing or goes straight to VM is either no one cares enough to answer the phone or they are seriously short staffed. What is it?? The authorities/mgmt needs to look into this and talk to their staff
Fantastic experience: Please say my thank you to Dr. Shaili Perez. I was comfortable during my appointment with her. She answered all my questions and concerns. Dr. Perez even called me not once but multiple times about my test results explained it at my level of understanding, and provided advice for what would be the next steps. She sent two referrals and assured me that I was going to be in good hands. I did a consult where she referred me and I’m convinced that I am being taken care of. Thank you for what you do, Dr. Perez
Negative experience: The receptionist for Dr. Gandhi/Dr. Jetha is completely useless. I've been trying to call for 3 days and have not gotten through even once. I think she has her phone turned off or something. I have heart issues I'm worried about and getting a hold of anyone in this office seems impossible.

Negative experience: I have tried to make an appointment for the past three days. What I get when the line is open is a voice and then immediately, music, which cuts off any interaction or communication to a receptionist to make an appointment. Your reception team has to step up or be replaced, as a hapless patient has no access to your clinic via the phone line. How am I to follow up with the recommendation of my doctor, Dr. Tang, if I cannot get through to the clinic?.I have asked that I be contacted on my landline since I miss any call to my cell phone (cell is unreliable & it is not always near by). Messages to me can be left on the landline as it is often difficult to reach reception after they have called to my cell phone and I missed their call.

Negative experience: This is my first Google review ever as I don't complain much and I don't have time for this but this time I can't contain my emotions. The secretary on the phone for Dr. Ghandi is so unprofessional. She has no respect for my time and options. First time, I told her calmly my schedule is very tough as I am a health worker doing rotation shifts. The second time was when I could not contain myself. She has an obvious condescending voice and irritated when I explore the the available schedule. She always say "Hurry! I have another on the phone". My Doctor is only doing some days of the week! How does she expect that I will be available on a single work day she is providing. Are you even providing training for this staff? This clinic has been stressful since she took over the phone.

Negative experience: The receptionist hasnt picked up the phone for days (Dr. Jetha's receptionist) and the online system to book an appointment has been down. The receptionist for other doctors picks up almost right away and calls back if she doesn't. Figure it out guys or let your patients know what's going on with your receptionists/booking system.
Positive experience: Overall, recommend Crosstown for Dr. Chan and Dr Abbas for Crosstown rehab. Walkin clinic and parking are areas that Crosstown can improve. Cannot comment on the on-call doctors. Having been a patient here for one year, I can say I have had a pretty good experience here so far. Dr. Chan is a great doctor. She is patient, understanding, empathetic, friendly and most of all, she is focused on trying to provide care that is patient oriented. I have never felt rushed or my concerns ever ignored by her. Dr. Chan continues to strive to become a better physician. If she is unsure about something, she does go out of her way to educate herself and find the answers. This is really appreciated. If you need a referral, Dr. Chan doesn't hesitate to send one. Referrals are sent out in a timely manner here. I can't thank her enough for her continuous support and care for my health concerns. With Dr. Chan, it really feels like you are working as a team to resolve the issue at a hand. Her secretary- Sumon, is also great. When I leave a message, I always get a call back. If she misses a call, she calls you back. She is friendly. She aims to understand what the patient's concerns are and tries to book them accordingly. The doctor's secretary is your window to getting a hold of your doctor. No matter how great the doctor is, if the secretary is not helpful, it really adds undue stress and frustration. Thankfully, this isn't the situation. Crosstown rehab clinic is also great. Dr. Abbas is the man to go to for all your rehab needs. He is educated, evidence focused and friendly. He really aims to help improve the quality of life of his patients. Can't recommend him enough. Areas of improvement: The walkin clinic. Unfortunately, I was sick on a weekend and decided to use the walkin clinic offered by crosstown. I figured it be better to go here because I was a patient of Dr. Chan. Unfortunately, my experience reflects the experience of others. I really felt isolated, not heard, rushed and frustrated. I didn't even get to speak to the doctor who was in charge. I got prescribed a medication that I knew from past experiences would not work. This left me feeling disappointed with the whole walkin experience. I am hoping this is something Crosstown can improve on. Parking. It is tough to find parking here. I wish there was a dedicate spot instead of trying to find a street parking for 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, there's really no accessible public transit to take in this area. This makes getting in and out of Crosstown tough. es

Negative experience: It’s way too difficult to get hold of the clinic. They rarely answer the phone, you can’t leave a voicemail during their lunch break or outside of business hours. Google has the clinic hours listed for today (Thursday as 8am-8pm) I’ve tried calling 3 times today at 3pm and kept getting an auto message the clinic is closed and to call back. It shouldn’t be this difficult to reach your family doctor’s reception office by phone.
Fantastic experience: My experience with the social worker was beyond incredible. I had never had someone make me feel like my thoughts, good and bad, were valid the way she has. I hope whomever replaces her is just as wonderful, they have some enormous shoes to fill
Fantastic experience: Diane, the receptionist at this doctor's office is the ABSOLUTE BEST! She's friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, quick, professional, etc. etc. I've never had such an amazing experience at a doctor's office.

Negative experience: Our experience was the worst ever in this place, two of my kids and I were met with this Dr that : 1- Never introduces himself . 2- Take us to the back of the building as we are lepers, did not explained why he has to take us to this shed. 3- Diagnosed us with covid the minute we told him our symptoms despite my explanation that I have been swabbed 3 times ( PCR) for covid and it"s been negative 4- Did not even ask if we need some medication to treat our symptoms.
Negative experience: Worst experience ever, took months to set up an appointment, doctors cannot prescribe proper dosage or prescriptions - they've sent out the wrong dosage to a pharmacy located hundreds of kms away & its been weeks and i still havent heard back regarding a new prescription.

Negative experience: Went through the Pharmacy for the STOP PROGRAM. Worst experience of my life. Imagine having someone call you pretending to "care" if you were quitting or not. To the point of confusing me with someone who was on their last treatment after i had just started. Its a joke. Utter waste.

Positive experience: I've been a patient of this clinic for 10 years, my main doctor was Dr. Jeffries, I've also found good care under Dr. Sun and Dr. Den Boer. They've all provided careful, thorough and detailed care with any issues I've had over the years. Dr. Tang, however, leaves a bitter experience when she is rushing through the appointment, barely examines the issues brought up, dismissing all concerns in a curt manner. Bedside manner is important when it comes to patient care and its unfortunate she heavily lacks in this area. I trust my doctors to make the best call after an assessment with their experience and knowledge, but when there is barely an effort made it leaves much to be desired with the expectations the other doctors set with their phenomenal care.

Negative experience: I called Dr. Chans office at 9.43 AM today and asked whether anyone can contact me today as I have covid and wanted a prescription. They said that Dr. Chan is not available and her calendar is packed for the day. So, the receptionist told me that someone from on call doctors will contact me and till now I havent received a call. If you cannot contact patients, you should at least have the courtesy to inform. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE !

Negative experience: Two visit both happens to be with Dr. Sun. Very not happy, both time the first with my child and second with me, he seems he is rushing to be with "actual patient"‼️ As we are not his prefer patient. He came very late and he is in a very rush to get away from me, close communication and miss informed on what was happening.not being a dr at all. We go there to see a Dr. not to see a baised, not welcoming and not interested person to come and make us feel worst than our initial visit concerns . As a dr he should remember all lifes matter and all are equal and important to each humans.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sun is amazing! He always replies super fast and detailed to any questions I have and always puts his patients first. I wish there were more doctors like him. The entire team is very efficient and well run, as someone who is immune suppressed, I really appreciate the effort and professional setup they have to ensure safety for their patients and staff. Thank you Dr. Sun and the entire Crosstown Team!
Negative experience: I went for my two month baby appointment with Dr. Tang and she never once checked my babies head shape, she was in a rush and now that my baby is 4 months we have to go see a helmet specialist. Not saying it’s her fault but we would have liked a heads up: like hey make sure you do loads of tummy time, in your next appointment we will check to see if she gets a flat head and if she does, she will be recommended to a helmet specialist. Why don’t doctors let you know this ahead of time ? I never came back after that.
Negative experience: My 9 year old special needs sister got turned away from an appointment because my mom is not vaccinated! This is extremely unlawful and this clinic should be fined and every doctor in this clinic should be fined for denying medical treatment on the basis of my moms medical decisions and freedoms. The appointment was not for my mom it was for my sister! Also the receptionist said that she can’t create an appointment Monday to Friday because my mom is unvaccinated but yet she can come in on the weekend when the clinic is accepting walk-ins only which to me and to my entire family, makes no sense what’s so ever! This is a joke and this clinic needs to be publicly chastised for there stupid policy!

Fantastic experience: This family health team is amazing. I've never had a doctor I've liked as much as Dr. den Boer; I rave to my friends all the time about how great she is. She is always punctual for her appointments, is never rushed, takes the time to explain things and help me work out options/the best course of action, and never hesitates to investigate an issue further. I truly believe she has my best interests at heart; she is insightful, an excellent listener and talks things through with me so that I feel like I'm making informed decisions about my health (extra props for that; pretty sure I have a 'difficult patient' note in my file from doctors all over town, like Elaine on Seinfeld). In all seriousness, she really helped me through a health crisis last summer, I'm so glad I found a doctor I can trust. Special shout out to the staff here too! Everyone is super friendly and super helpful, even though I'm sure they're super busy; they were nice and patient with me even the time I called because I couldn't remember what time my appointment was. Thanks for your hard work!! 10/10 recommend

Fantastic experience: Crosstown health Team is very excellent. The receptionists is nice, warm and I feel like home when visiting here. They are very fast, organize for your appointment. Save ton of waiting time . Keep up your best service Crosstown Health team. My doctor was moving and I have new family doctor, so I can’t say yet because of Covid I still not meet her. But I have meet some other doctor and I think they are young physicians team, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and care person. I love this crosstown clinic and wish all the staffs, doctors the best of their life Keep your best service

Fantastic experience: I have been going there almost more than 4 years, Dr. Den Boer is wonderful, she is patient ,extremely knowledgeable and explains every details clearly. Never hesitates to send referral and extra tests if required. RN ,Social worker both are also wonderful, made me very comfortable in each visit.I also had great experience with reception also, they are very prompt and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Bhavesh Dhoka is a great physiotherapist!! I suffered from headaches and neck pain for 3 years, and in just 2 visits I already began to notice a difference. He is attentive and gets straight to the point as others have said! Also always on time! Highly recommend him if you need a physiotherapist.
