Fantastic experience: I've seen both Sam and Khush at this clinic and had great experiences with both of them. Both were very personable and welcoming. They have helped me fix a variety of issues from my knee to hip to shoulder with both manual therapy and IMS needling.

Fantastic experience: Ben Suen is the most amazing physiotherapist - he is very skilled and uses a variety of techniques to relieve pain. He is also very funny while at the same time a compassionate listener who is creates a safe space to support processing and release of trauma and stress from the body. Kaylee Dodds is a fantastic acupuncturist. Some acupuncturists will place needles and then leave the room, managing several clients at the same time, and this can be a very relaxing and wonderful experience depending on your needs. But if you are suffering with chronic pain, Kaylee actively works on you throughout the whole session, employing several techniques to release the pain. She is also incredibly wise, compassionate and supportive with helping to release trauma and stress from the body. Together Ben and Kaylee are a very powerful team for mind-body work. I am also very grateful to Celine, Christine, Anna and Nadine - it is always a pleasure to see them and they provide the best administrative support. I also love that insurance can be billed directly! Thank you team! I am grateful for all that you do!

Negative experience: I chose this clinic because of good Google reviews. My first session was only spent talking, with bare minimum tests, no machine use or exercise suggestions. I was told to jog during the week to trigger the pain, and continue jogging to see if the pain goes away! In a word, I got nothing out of a session!

Thorough, clear, and straight to causes or contributing factors to your pain/injury during assessment... provides excellent treatment and a personalized exercise plan afterwards. She's very patient, non-judgmental, and attentive. Front desk staff have always been super nice and prompt at responding to emails. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Alex is fantastic. Before coming to Allied, I tried a few other physios in North Van who had better reviews but was disappointed. At Allied, I had great experience working with Alex. He took time to root cause the problem. I went with a symptom but he asked me to do a bunch of stretches and found where the problem was coming from. He explained me how the muscles work and shared a bunch of videos on how I can stretch the muscles to fix the problem. With just a couple of appointments, I was not only able to get the problem fixed but also got extra knowledge of muscular work.

Fantastic experience: I went to Ben for advanced frozen shoulder, it was quite debilitating. Ben being the expert at evaluation and ability to apply appropriate treatments was remarkable. He is so hard to even get in to see, however he made time for me and I am so grateful. This is not a quick ailment to fix, with time and his attention, my recovery was easily sped up by a year. Thank you to Ben and his incredibly professional team!

Positive experience: I was looking for physiotherapyist for my back pain.my doctor refer me there forphisiyo but they did astiopaty For me without telling me what is astiopaty i never heard about it whitch I didn't know about it and didn't work and I really didn't like it and my doctor says that they are a physiotherapy in my office And they are perfect . I think they are not bad but my question is why why they don't inform the patient about the new astiopaty treatment and after treatments has a reaction because i read and surch in google it has a reaction but Because If I knew it I never ever tried it. I made an appointment withBen when i got there he questioned about my history and he did some test and he did just checking and didn't explain what is this treatment and after this treatment has a reaction. And after 10 minutes he said free to go I asked don't do the electrical mashin he said you do t need it. My question is why he didn't explain his treatment .i never heard about astiopaty. Iasked what did you do and he said this is astiopaty. I'm surprised why he didn't explain before doing treatment and I have know idea what is astiopaty. When I got home I got a very weird feeling very heavy exhausted and cold hands and my feet was so heavy and body pain so I couldn't sleep that night and I called them and they said it is normal . And i really paniced and but for 2 days I couldn't go to work And for i went for my back pain my back problem didn't do anything and nothing changed.

Jessica at the front desk is also thoughtful and proactive. She has helped get us (all family members) in to get a treatment with Ben when someone cancels. She goes the extra distance to make sure we are cared for. We highly recommend North Shore Physio!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with Samantha. She spent a lot of time with me and sent me an email with videos of the exercises I need to do. She didn’t pressure me to come in more often than I needed to.

Fantastic experience: It’s never fun getting injured but when you do it’s important to take care of it. I was in a rear ended vehicle accident and hurt my neck. I’d used North Van Physio previously and decided to go back. I’m working with Josh and it's been great. He did a really good initial interview and we worked out a treatment plan. I’m seeing him twice a week and doing Physio exercises at home. The treatments at the appointments are hands on and I’m finding them beneficial. And they use a great app for the take home exercises. Rather than trying to remember them they use an app on my smart phone that lists them, with the number of reps and it actually shows a video of how to do them. It’s great and I’m more apt to do them using the app. Great Physiotherapy office and Josh is a a great physiotherapist. 5 stars for sure.

He is current on modern science with regards to physiotherapy and quickly understood my issues based on the information I was able to share with him. He's prescribed a program that is directly addressing the issues I'm facing day-to-day and it's working great so far. I highly recommend Josh.

Fantastic experience: When you’re searching online for a physiotherapist it’s a gamble at best. You don’t know if it’s the right place or person for you until you visit or call. So for me the first point of contact must be a professional, knowledgeable and friendly person who immediately makes you feel you’ve called the right place. North Vancouver Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic did just that. Second test the physiotherapist. Samantha was assigned to work with me and she is terrific. She’s young, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. She knows her stuff and is excellent at communicating information. She’s also a very good listener and easily addressed concerns and questions. Third test: Would I recommend North Vancouver Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic? Definitely

Fantastic experience: Very accommodating and relaxing environment. Fixed my golfers elbow in 2 visits. Would have gone back for more by my insurance only covers so much a year... and I felt very satisfied with my visit anyways!

Fantastic experience: Learned some great exercises for trail running, hiking and skiing as well as learned some stretches for an acute neck injury. Enjoyed working with Sam; she was super helpful and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I went here to check and rehabilitate a one of my knees that has been severely injured before. Josh did a thorough assessment and quickly determined what underlying issues were causing my pain. He gave me exercises to do at home and was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions along the way. It took only a few sessions and I'm back to feeling good as new. The staff at front desk were also very helpful and friendly. As someone who has been to physiotherapy many times before, I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I saw Klara Schwab at North Shore Physiotherapy following a car accident in 2016. I hadn’t been back since last year, 2019 so when I returned for a different issue I was delighted to see that the clinic seems even more friendly, efficient and proficient than it was. Klara was gloved and masked, diligently keeping the environment safe while still working her amazing magic. Kudos to all.

Fantastic experience: WCB accident and my back has never hurt so much and for a longer duration. I was referred to Ben Suen by a number of people who dont know each other. Ben's been working on my back pains for a few sessions and every time I go I feel youthful again. Mobility returns and pain subsides for a period of time. Fantastic experience: My regular treatments with Jami Boyd were game changing. This is the best physio I've had to help me heal from my injuries, and she also worked with my other service providers to ensure continuity of care. I have been empowered by the exercises that I was prescribed. Their aim is to get you to your best, not have you be dependent on them. It's a wonderful location too.

She knows a lot and always explains everything she's doing with love and kindness. Their location is another bonus with plenty of parking spaces and near to a pharmacy. Fantastic experience: Had a great first experience. They put in a great effort to both make sure I understood what happened with my injury and took steps to outline a path to getting better. They even provided a visual nightly training recommendation which has helped me keep on top of what I have to work on in my own time in order to get back to 100%.

Positive experience: I presented with a very bad back. There were issues from the base of my skull to my hips. After only one session with Ben Suen, I can already notice some improvement.

Fantastic experience: I had a workplace accident and subsequent surgery. So my time spent at physio has exceeded 2 yrs. That’s a long time but North Vancouver Physio and Sports clinic physio’s have been excellent. A special shout-out to Jamie, Sam & Johnathon not to forget the uber confident front desk staff - Jessica, Valerie & Julia. My treatments have been comprehensive and allowed me to work with less pain prior to surgery and contributed to my successful outcome post surgery. I wouldn’t have my physio treatments anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Samantha Ling is my physiotherapist and I cannot speak enough good things about her. I have some complex issues with bursitis and IT band syndrome and over the course of a few weeks she has helped me heal significantly. Every time I see her, Samantha has great ideas on exercises to strengthen me. She answers all my questions thoroughly and really shows that she cares for my injury, my recovery and me as a person. Not only is Samantha a talented physiotherapist, she is a wonderful person who encourages you the whole way through recovering from injuries. She has kept me motivated and focused on the end result even when I have felt discouraged. I would highly recommend Samantha because of her knowledge, kindness and passion for her job. If I could give her an extra star I would but Google doesn’t allow me :)
