Initially seeking his expertise at the age of 22, my objective was to increase my weight from 170 pounds to 210 pounds. Fantastic experience: I went to First Line Nutrition in July looking for some weight loss pills. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He suggested I take ultraflora Control for my weight loss and it will help to lower my cholesterol. My triglycerides in May were 6.4 mmol/L and today is 1.35 mmol/L. It was a dramatic drop in 2 months! Thank you, Richard!

Negative experience: They took my money on a online order in January and I never received my products. I've been calling and emailing at least once a month and they keep telling me it will be sent or taken care of. It's May!! Still no products. Don't purchase throught them. Not reliable.

Negative experience: Owner had no idea what he was talking about, and refused to back down on fraudulent product claims. I'm usually all for supporting smaller businesses, but I'd much rather go to a big name store than deal with awful service and a complete lack of knowledge. Will take my money to another shop in the future.

Negative experience: Messy, foul store. Everything on the shelves is overpriced or expired. Con artist scammer of an owner who will sell you garbage expired products that he knows nothing about, and scam you into buying "clinical services" that are proven false with 10 seconds on Google. Charges more for these "Clinical Services" than any legitimate shop will ever charge for effective products. Constantly abuses any brand he does not like, as well as customers, staff, vendors and delivery personnel. Has zero respect for those who make the mistake of shopping here, cares only about lining his own pockets. Save your money, save your health, go to literally anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Very good place to get all your suppliment needs. Staff there is very knowledgeable and polite and are always on top of everything your looking for. I have been going to this place for awhile now and never once had any complaints. I will be telling all my friends and family about my experience.

Negative experience: The place is a joke and the owner Richard is a liar, crook has no customer service skills whatsoever...and should NOT ever deal with people. He has argued with many customers in his store and clearly has mental issues! He claims to be a "doctor" but is definitely not and should not be telling ppl this garbage. He will try to oversell you overpriced products you DON'T need and has ridiculous in-store no return policies. This man has no business in this industry, as he is only money hungry. Buyer beware! Do NOT be fooled by this creep and do yourself a favour, shop around!

Fantastic experience: This is a must visit supplement and nutrition store and will be the only one myself and my husband continue to use. The service and education received from Richard is beyond superior! His passion for uncovering and helping you with your specific needs with applied knowledge and science is like nothing I have ever experienced from health practitioners or as a guest in other supplement stores. Both my husband and I have very different needs when it comes to nutrition and supplements and he took the time to address both of our needs in depth. Firstly is my husband who has been training and building muscle mass for years and thought he was a seasoned veteran until talking to Richard, he has now far upped his workouts and has built almost 7lbs of muscle in a matter of weeks in a healthy and natural way! I am vegetarian starting a very rigorous training program, he uncovered the needs I had and in no way pushed product. Instead he educated as to what my primary needs are to help me achieve my goals in a very healthy manner. I did also take advantage of the BMI in depth reading he offers as a service and is so worth it for a conservative fee. It allowed me to see all that my body needs and is lacking. (not like the gimmicky ones at the gym) I will have a follow-up with him and will post an update!! The other incredible thing about this store is they have a full try before you buy bar!! you can try almost anything, protein powder or supplement to be sure that it meets your acquired taste and need (I cant do synthetic flavour or sweet I like natural which is hard to find) Its like the Starbucks of supplements!!! Thank you Richard for you wealth of knowledge!!!

Negative experience: The products are good from what I researched that’s why I give 2 stars, however I can order the same exact product online for approx 15-20% cheaper. The testing is a money grab don’t do it. The owner seems nice till you ask questions or disagree. I would of bought products if it wasn’t for this guys passive aggressive nature. He bashes any diet or program your currently trying Which is very unprofessional( if other diets don’t work how did I loose 40lbs and feel great? It’s the last 10-20Lbs that I’m looking for other options to help loose). Fact is even if he is right and there product is the only one in the world that works. Who can afford it? I paid $350 for testing which he doesn’t even know how the machine works! just to be put on probiotics which I told him would be the prescription pre test (he said the test would tell him which probiotic strain I needed then post test prescribed almost all the forms of probiotic available in metagenics lol) . Then there was another $150 charge to have him work with you (which he offered to wave cause I questioned the whole process)and a prescription of probiotics among a few other things that would cost $500/mth for 6-9months with no guarantees. If I was to give advise, I’d say for the 30mins it took to test you should do it for free and prove the product. Take the $350 as a deposit Incase client doesn’t return at least you get paid for your time. If client does return then that deposit can be put towards the products at $50 off per month till $350 is refunded. Word of mouth will spread if your method works. Satisfied people may only tell a few people unsatisfied will tell many.... remember that!

Fantastic experience: I started taking supplements about 2 years ago to help improve my health. Unfortunately I have a medical condition that makes it hard for me to eat the right types of food and it's hard to keep things down. A friend told me about Firstline in South Edmonton so I went to check it out. When I walked it, it was a little unassuming but I still gave it a chance. I expressed my health concerns and the staff there told me about GI health and ran a painless health assessment. I started the program and am very pleased with the personalized touch Richard is giving me.

Negative experience: Worst supplement store in the city. The location in the south looks like a drug lab, they claim you can test in store but never have samples and there is a no return policy, so you end up paying for things you can't use. Plus the owner is always fighting with some lady in store while you are buying things. And the location in the north... good luck trying to buy something! They are never open on time. Today is the 4th time in a row that I have been there and they are not open during business hours.

Negative experience: My experience in the store today was sadly disappointing. The owner was minding the shop today and he will never get my business. If a business owner cannot tell me what sets him apart from the competition without trashing them and inferring they run a shady business with under the counter sales than they will never, ever see a dollar from my purse. I know a number of the owners of supplement stores around town and to hear their names, not just the names of their business but the actual owners names run into the ground is appalling. Second, if you are going to dispute the reputability of a product then don't carry it on your shelves. The owner commented on how the product I was currently taking was a poor quality protein powder and yet he was selling the exact product.

Negative experience: Been going here for years. Tried to return an unopened product that I purchased 20 mins ago and realized that they do not accept returns at all. They only allow exchanges. There is absolutely no reason why an unopened item cannot be returned, especially when it was purchased 20 minutes ago. Their 0 return policy insures that I will never return to their store. More business for Popeyes I guess.

Negative experience: 11/28/16 Purchased a $100 non refundable item It wasn't in stock. 12/3/16 Went to pick up 1 week later despite having the proper name and address etc I was not allowed to take my item - because my receipt was at home. Was not told I needed my receipt to pick up the item. 12/6/16 10:30am at store with reciept in hand. Store not open. I am beyond frustrated I live more then 40 minutes from this store and will never be returning to shop here. Customer service is obviously not a priority.

Positive experience: I thought the man working was very knowledgeable and helpfull in assisting me in choosing the pre workout I would enjoy and benefit me the most. He can describe to you the purpose of the chemicals/ingredients in the supplements and what they do to your body and seemed to have good knowledge to compare to other products.

Negative experience: The owner of Firstline Nutrition Ritchard is a true con-artist. He only has his best intrests in mind not yours and will feed you any line of BS he thinks you will swallow in order to take as much of your money as he can.
