Fantastic experience: Jan was very well in explaining about what to expect in my very first prenatal RMT session with him. He also listened and curated the massage as per my requirements. I would definetely revisit and reccommend him for my future appointments.

Fantastic experience: Today I had Fiona as my massage therapist and it was the first time I ever experienced the type of massage that she did. I actually prefer it because I realized early into the session that, while there was enough pain to know that the treatment was working, it wasn't so much pain that I was having to breathe through it. It was slow and steady instead of all at once... She worked at my entire back in a slow sweep and pinch sort of motion, giving me time to relax after instead of stay tensed up. I have a lot of chronic pain from a previous motorcycle accident, so I feel like I'm quite used to dealing with the discomfort of many types of treatments. Fiona's technique didn't give me NEARLY as bad of a flareup after as I'm used to. I'm used to being bedridden for the rest of the evening and sometimes into the next day. So far it's been five hours and I can feel the tight pinch in my shoulders, but its a thought I can push to the back of my mind and I can keep going about my day instead of being consumed by it. Super recommend this massage therapist, and the Wellness Centre! I've seen other awesome massage therapists in the past too who have done great work.

Fantastic experience: Was my first massage in a long time. I have a problem with my shoulder and neck. Fiona explained the steps to be taken and once the massage was complete, provided recommended stretches to continue to improve the discomfort I am having. Its all been beneficial to feeling better.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with customer service. I've been trying to book an appointment for over a week, calling several times a day, but no one ever picks up. I've left numerous voicemails and still haven't heard back. This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Had my first RMT session for my extremely painful upper back/neck with Fiona and I was not only grateful that New West Wellness had an opening later in the evening, but also with how kind and calming Fiona’s energy was for me. It can be hard for those of us who work 9-5 to have to book time off during the workday to take care of our wellness, knowing we’ll be losing out on that income, so to be able to get an appointment at 8pm was fantastic. I definitely have more visits before I can feel back to myself again, but I’m so happy I took a chance on this place and can’t wait for my second session with Fiona! Positive experience: Unfortunately, I never got the chance to visit. Had a very bad experience while trying to cancel a booked appointment. Tried calling the front desk, but the voice prompt asked to leave a message to cancel. Left a message, which went unheard; only to get a call from my RMT, who understandably was annoyed to see a no-show at 8am. And ofcourse, I was charged a no-show fee. Hoping they fix the processes to help their clients better .

Fantastic experience: I booked a massage session with Jan, hours after my wife had her first Pre-natal massage with him. She said he was good, but I didn't realize until after the massage how good he was. To say that he's just good is an understatement, he goes beyond what I thought a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) can provide in terms of comfrot, de-stressing, and most importantly healing. As this was my first session, Jan took about 10 minutes to get to know about my health history and details to fully understand how he can help with all of my ailments. He makes sure to start with a moderate amount of pressure to ease the muscles and body before applying more pressure further into the session. What makes Jan stand above the rest is he consistent application of force, pressure, and strength. His background in competitve weightlifting and as a fitness trainer, elevates his skills to provide a massage unlike any I've had. I was speechless after the massage, I could not formulate the words to express the gratitude and appreciation for Jan's skills. Jan is truly New West's hidden gem.

I saw there was an appointment available with Fiona for the same day so I took it and I must admit im now very glad my other appointments were cancelled. This was the best massage i've ever had specifically targeting the issues I was having. I was so impressed... not only with the massage but also with all the thorough information Fiona went through before, during and after. The whole process was great, ill be back.

I'm not be able to have someone to answer my questions before I book an apt with someone. I filled the inquiry form and doesn't work. There is no one that help if you need assistance before booking or creating an account.

Negative experience: I saw Fiona for the first time yesterday and while I believe that she's a good therapist I must also say that the technique she uses is extremely unpleasant. She pinched and stretched my skin through the whole hour, which is not relaxing and it doesn't feel like it's doing much at the trigger points. To be fair, she did ask me to speak up if anything becomes too painful, but I can handle pain fairly well. The issue was the technique itself and I wasn't expecting it to last through the whole session. On a side note, I also must say that feels unwelcoming that they don't let you wait at the reception even when you're the only person around. I want to respect everyone's comfort level when it comes to covid but that feels like an overkill. The two stars go to Panos, who was amazing on my first visit.

Fantastic experience: I came here a week ago for an Initial Visit due to frequent headaches from work. My RMT, Jan Betsayda was very knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint what was causing my headache. He was able to relieve the pain, gave me easy at home exercise that can help prevent the tension headache my workload and school load was causing. During the treatment, he made sure and ask questions if the pressure was comfortable and what my pain level what and applied that to my treatment. After my visit, I noticed the difference and my headache weren’t as frequent as before. After my second visit, I can feel the difference in my body in which that my upper neck area feels a little looser. Jan is very friendly and easy to talk to, gives professional advice that is simple and easy to follow. He also gave me personal advice on how to have a healthy lifestyle. I definitely recommend this clinic and Jan for massage.

Positive experience: The therapist I saw was excelllent, but they have no idea how to do anything with Pharmacare...I was denied my discount and told I would have to apply to MSP myself for a refund. They won't hire a desk person, so for appointments they force you register for yet one more on line booking system. And since there's no desk person, they let you wait inside...regardless of the weather or how ill you feel you must wait on the street...( and it's NOT because of covid there IS room inside for people to sit propeely spaced)not even a place to sit. Very poor business model!

Not only did he work on the shoulder a bit, but he also showed me many strengthening exercises. He is very clear with communication and explains the body’s functioning of specific areas. Negative experience: One of the worst pre-natal massages I have had. Massage therapist used no pressure whatsoever and even when I told her multiple times what my problem areas were, she won't pay attention.
