Fantastic experience: For my 50th birthday I chose to vacation in Edmonton and I chose Wellness on Whyte becase of Tuuli Nelson. I had never had an astrology reading and this was a fasinating experience. I only wish I had taken the time to get my actual time of birth as I might be hooked now and need to know more things. Tuuli was easy to talk with and I enjoyed every miniute of my 90 min reading with her. What drew me to the spa was Tuuli but every single seperate experience was amazing. From my welcome on entrance, the 30 min sauna, the amazing hot stone massage, the ageless facial and snacks..wonderful wonderful snacks and even the staff when I paid had a surprise on leaving. Wellness on Whyte made my whole trip to Edmonton.

Fantastic experience: One of the most relaxing massages I've ever had

Negative experience: I went here as a first-time customer, and it wasn't a great experience. First off, it's impossible to find parking anywhere around the building. I had to drive around for about 10 minutes. When I finally got into the office, they had me fill out forms, and commented multiple times how I was supposed to do this online before coming in. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. It turns out they send an email with all of the instructions... but they didn't send it until I was literally in the office for my appointment. I got it after my massage was over. This email also gave instructions for where to park... so again, that would have been nice to know ahead of time. The massage itself was just ok, and very overpriced for the service you get. The massage therapist also tried to embarrass me, which I wasn't too impressed with. I'm almost 8 months pregnant, (and very much look like it,) and she goes, "oh I didn't know you were pregnant," when I told her that I couldn't lay on my stomach. Like... what do you think, I just carry around a beach ball under my shirt? I also mentioned on my booking that I was pregnant... so what's the point of those notes if nobody reads them? For a place that caters to pregnant women, I expected a little more consideration than that. It's a nice facility, but aside from that, I really wouldn't recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this place enough. I saw Noelle for about a year straight and she listened to my needs every single time, even sending me home with some instructions to aid in my back issues. I have never once felt insecure while in their establishment. I took a break for about a year and when I came back today, Noelle remembered me as if it had only been a few weeks and even remembered an injury I spoke to her about a few years ago. The care she has for her clients is unmatched and I will be seeing her for the foreseeable future! The office itself is warm and inviting and the reception staff are always very welcoming with a big smile. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at Wellness on whyte and I absolutely loved it. I had a signature massage with Zoe Kolskog. She definitely attended to my massage requests and made sure I left there feeling relaxed (and amazing!).

We are happy to be back on a regular massage schedule with her again. She is informative and understands what your body might need more than you in the moment. Positive experience: 5 stars for practitioner and 2 stars for front desk (administrator) service and manager. Be carefull - Wellness on Whyte can overcharge you! Like it happened to me! They did it few times with my credit card and insurance. So much time was wasted and it tooks a week to get my money back. Girl on a desk was unprofessional. She doesn't know how insurance works. She doesn't know how much money clients should pay for their service. Why do I need to figure it out? Also, manager's reaction was interesting: she tried to drop their fault with overcharge on me. Absolutely unbelievable! Wellness on Whyte staff, please, be sure that just a constant smiling doesn't mean a "good service". It's great idea to know your direct responsibilities.

Fantastic experience: I'm sorry I don't remember the lady's name on the phone, but she worked so hard to fit us in and give us the appointment we wanted. We didnt have to wait at all and walked right in for our massage. We couldn't find the entrance and she was so patient in helping us out. Noelle was amazing. She took the time to hear my goals for the massage and where was I hurting before starting. She was so keen in meeting my goals. While at it, you could notice and feel she's very experienced and knowledgeable, it relaxes you and makes you feel safe. She took her time with each body part and was very gentle but efficient in removing my knots and tension at the same time. I wasn't left sore at all as in other massages I got done in the city. The beds were heated and the head/face rest was extremely comfortable. I did not experience this at any other massage place. My sister had her massage with Mikayla and she felt she was just as amazing. We recommend them both! Everyone treated us so nice and made us feel our comfort and result was their goal too. The pricing was great too for the service given and the place is beautifully decorated, scented and very modern. I would not hesitate to book if you're in pain, sore, stressed or looking towards gifting someone this amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: Most nourishing space in town! Healing acupuncture, soothing facials, restorative/invigorating massages… Friendly staff, knowledgeable practitioners, professional team, everyone’s loving and attentive!

Positive experience: Went for a massage and sauna session, both of which were thoroughly enjoyable. That said, I found their scheduling and customer flexibility to be rigid. I showed up about 5mins late, which is my bad. By the time I was settled on the massage table (first visit, there were a few minutes of intake) the massage therapist informed me that she wouldn't be able to provide the whole 60minutes I'd booked for, as she had a client right after me. I got a 45-minute massage, and was still charged for 60mins. I emailed this feedback to Wellness on Whyte, and they stated that they book appointments back-to-back, and had to honour the RMT's time. I've received bodywork therapies (e.g. massage, chiro, acupuncture) for 15 years, and none of my practitioners have ever cut *my* time short because of *their* tight turn-around time (even on the rare instances where I've arrived 5mins late). The first-visit intake should also not be counted in the therapy time--that was a first for me. I appreciate the transparency of being told up front that the RMT would have to cut the time short--I get that her time needs to be honoured. However, I think Wellness on Whyte needs to also honour the *client's* time and charge for the service provided. It's one thing to only get a 45min massage, it's another to have to pay for 60mins when 60mins of service wasn't provided. I liked the massage, liked the sauna rates, but likely won't return, because it felt like Wellness on Whyte prioritizes dollars over client satisfaction.

Fantastic experience: Booked a Day of Sanctuary treatment for my birthday. Had Brittany perform reflexology on my hands and feet and a massage Between treatments I was spoiled with awesome snacks and tasty juices. They even provided coconut oil with something amazing smelling mixed in, to apply after being in the infrared sauna 10/10 Am looking forward to rebooking my reiki sesh with Heather

Fantastic experience: I recently saw Mykayla at wellness on Whyte. I really look up to Mykayla as a health professional and trust her knowledge. Mykayla takes the time to really listen to my concerns, she is able to look at my health through a traditional Chinese medicine perspective and then takes the time to explain diet and lifestyle. She really makes sure I am comfortable during the acupuncture. The acupuncture and body work I received was so relaxing and I felt the best I had in a long time. I highly suggest Mykayla as your acupuncturist.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Mikayla for a few sessions now. She has been doing acupuncture for many things that we had discussed together. Wellness on whyte is clean and quiet and has a nice calm vibe to it. Mikayla takes the time at the beginning of each session to ask me about my symptoms and different questions about my health to really assess where our treatment will be going this time. Last week for the first time I had to cancel and my headaches prior to my "moon week" started again and I cannot wait to see her again. She is so gentle and calm and as she is going through everything she told me about chinese medicine and what she was doing. I definitely recommend Mikayla!

Positive experience: Harry was fantastic, collaborating with my physical therapist to provide the best approach to my rehabilitation as possible. I continue to experience increased comfort and mobility, and decreased pain since my treatment. The cost is higher than most places that I have been, otherwise I would have given this a 5/5

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being treated by Mykayla Sorensen for some fertility issues. I went to their clinic in Wellness on Whyte and I instantly felt home and peaceful, as if I have been in that place before. Mykayla has uncovered each of my health issues and treated me with acupuncture. I felt some improvements in my general health and particularly fertility. If you have any female concerns, pls talk to Mykayla to see if she can you too!

Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from knee pain for over 10 years now from being a competitive figure skater. I explained all my pain points to Mykayla and she asked more detailed questions in addition to my pain about other life factors like sleep pattern, stress level, etc. She was the most gentle acupuncturist I have ever been to, making sure to tackle everything. Needling organ points, stress points, and most importantly my pain points. She gave me time to sit with the needles in and allow them to work their magic and I almost fell asleep. I would recommend anyone who has any body pain, unreal stress levels or unsteady sleep patterns to go and see Mykayla. I have had consistent 2/10 knee pain for a very long time, and I was able to walk around pain free for the first time in what feels like forever, and I’m still pain free after being on my feet on concrete at the shop all week.

Fantastic experience: I had a reiki appointment with Heather Cameron and from the time I walked in until I left I was made to feel so welcomed and comfortable. Heather’s calming voice put me in the right frame of mind to fully relax and embrace the experience. I discovered later the full effects of my appointment, having become more calm and less stressed and irritated. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!
