Fantastic experience: I've never explored Accupuncture till I was treated by Dr. Julia (Huiling) Chen for post concussion symptoms. The experience was extraordinary and she is an extraordinary practitioner. Her ability to create a calm experience, treat me while explaining the treatment in a way I could understand was effective. I believe the treatment activated my parasympathetic nervous system, allowing my body to calm in ways I struggle to access independently, and after the treatment I experienced a deep feeling of relaxation and calm. Here interpretation that this was the accupuncture accessing my body's deeper healing ability was truly amazing. I look forward to my next appointment and optimistic healing will continue to occur over time.

Negative experience: The front reception is gonna WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Go somewhere you will be be treated well and somewhere else that cares about your time and wellbeing. I walked in on a Wed afternoon to book a RMT appointment, the reception(she) said the earliest appointment is tomorrow at 4:30pm, I agreed and happily left. The second day when I arrived at the clinic on time, she (the same reception) told me I don’t have an appointment today and it’s for tomorrow. I corrected her about the appointment and confirmed it was her yesterday booked my appt. I can tell she was lying as she was refusing to recognize the mistake she made and accusing me of remembering it wrong because she was quite nervous. Then I asked her name and told her, I’ll need to leave an honest review about this, she got offended and refused to tell me her name and ask me to leave. I mean, she has one job which is to make appointments, and she still can’t get it right. How can I trust the other people work there will not make mistakes on my body?! The fact she does not own her mistake just made this place more questionable- what kind of training she has been given and what is the customer service experience she is expected to provide? Please double make sure your appointment and don’t trust her words on your appointment. ( a woman in her 40s wearing a black frame glasses). Or if you value your time and money, go somewhere else to have a peace of mind you will be treated well- someone cares about your time and wellbeing. There are plenty of good chiropractors and RMT in the area.

Not only has Julia helped me with physical pain treatment, but also hormonal and digestive issues. She prescribed a list of Chinese herbs and food ingredients for me. Her treatments and recommendations (which I’ve followed) have almost immediate effects. Her philosophy of treating the body as a whole has helped me to make positive life changes. She’s easy to talk to, she listens well, and works within my means to help me get back on track to homeostases. She’s my favourite TCM practitioner I’ve ever been to see.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Dr. Marie from when I was about 5 months pregnant to about a month before I gave birth. I started off with such significant pelvic pain, difficulty walking or carrying my littles to being able to do all day to day tasks with no pain. It was honestly life changing for me.
